Sill, decided to pop the question to my gf and needed a quality ring, for the right price and easy to navigate the sale as I'm limited on what I can do while serving. Sent a message to the business and Owner Kara Tipton, reached out to help. Little did we know that this experience was going to be way crazier than expected. I went on con-leave (the opportunity to propose) and met my gf in Vegas. Unfortunately, the ring was stuck in mailing at the base. Kara, on her private family vacation, went OUT OF HER WAY to get me a substitute ring, shipped overnight, to my hotel so that I could go through with my plan. Long story short - popped question, got the yes, and really felt that I made the right choice with choosing Tipton's. They from top down, care about the customer and their experience. Not only did they inspect, clean, and offer paperwork to support this, but they were helpful in picking another jewelry piece. It is likely that they took out nearly every piece of jewelry to show and let me try on. They were attentive and knowledgeable about the businesses and vendors they choose to work with. There's a very thick layer of sarcasm and condescending tones from the clerks. Attempting to sell earrings that matched the ring I sold last month, the clerk said they don't buy things like that and would only give me $100 when last month I sold the ring of the same blue diamond set for $800. My husband and I went in previously to purchase a Pandora bracelet for my sister and it was only until we were interested in purchasing did their attitudes change. I bought a U-boat watch (not from them) and while in town needed the battery changed. I heard about Tipton Fine Jewelry. I thought this place would surely know what to do or at the VERY LEAST could recommend where to go if they couldn't handle the job. Two issues arose. First, they couldn't change the battery in the time frame I was going to be in town. Apparently a watch battery change is considered a repair. Second, and MOST interesting of all, the two women I spoke with at the shop had never even heard of the U-boat brand. Enough said. read more

The clerks were so kind and helpful, and since we bought my whole wedding set, we got his ring for free! They also had a special going on where, with any purchase, you get to pop a balloon for a certificate or gift card to another local business. I have gone here several time for small things such as getting battery replacement and jewelry repair. Usually I am greeted (or not greeted) with complete snobbiness. As if they don't want to help me or as if i'm bothering them. This particular visit I went in for battery replacement and jewelry cleaning. The girl said they would not be able to replace it for a week or two. So I declined. I was looking at some rings while I was there and decided to buy a ring as a gift for someone. I wish I could give them 0 stars. I placed an order for a pandora charm 2 weeks ago. It was an anniversary present. They said it would come in the following week. 2 weeks went by and nothing from them. So I called and they never got my item in or called to tell me it didn't come in. They had planned to keep my money and not give me my charm. They knew for a week my charm had not come in and refused to contact me. Love Love Love this place! The selection is amazing I've tried on things I can and cannot afford. LOL.They have some jaw dropping jewls. The store is pretty awesome. Everytime I come home to visit my fam in Lawton I make my husband take me there. All of our purchases are well under 500$ so trust me they don't have to suck up to make money off us they are just down right nice people. I took three diver watches hoping to have the batteries replaced. They said it would take a day to replace two of the batteries and an additional day on the third watch. The young lady rung up seventy dollars, yes $70.00 dollars and asked for half of the money up front. Two days later I received a call stating the third watch needed to be sent away. And the shipping cost was fifty dollars!!! I declined and asked if the other two watches were done and the young lady stated yes. I drove to the store to find none of my watches with new batteries and my money refunded. It is a very nice jewelry store. I did go in the other day and purchase an item. I did have on my blue jeans and a t-shirt. The dressed up customer that was also there was definately treated with more respect. Let me make one thing clear as I have also owned a business. The dollar is a dollar.
