On May 10, 2025, I left my 2004 Chevy Silverado for two front tires and a wheel alignment. The technician found that the front wheel bearing needed to be replaced. My wife, and I have been loyal costumers of Tire Choice for years and of Allied Tire prior to Tire Choice. Since I have never had a problem with either company, I told them to proceed with the repair without obtaining a quote. Apparently that was my mistake for trusting the employees. About an hour later the technician called and told me that the truck needed a brake job. Since I am a decent mechanic and have a homeshop, I asked them to give me a quote on the brake job. They quoted me $1,750.00. I know a brake job doesn't cost more than $800 to $1000 I told them that I would perform the work myself and that the price was rediculous. I picked up my truck on May 12, 2025 and received a bill for $683.06 plus tax. The part, wheel bearing assembly, DL515086, was $515.06 according to their invoice. The price of the exact part at the auto parts store was $201.99. This is $312.00 more than I was charged. I questioned the bill and the brake job estimate and the man at the front desk told me in a very rude way that there was no mistake and I have to pay this amount. We have had such a good relationship with this company and hate that we have now been treated with such disrespect and cheated on the repair. read more

We got a flat tire driving through and this place happened to be open for 10 more mins and we were 12 mins away. We called and they offered to stay open to allow us to get there. Over the years I have purchased tires, had tires replaced or evaluated here. This is an easy compliment: I have not ever been let down. The staff has changed over the years, but somehow the establishment has continued to maintain the sincere customer care that keeps me safely rolling. I needed to get a slow leak fixed. My truck was on the rack for 1 hour total. After 30 minutes I walked around to the shop to check on the progress, my tire had not been taken off the truck. When I asked inside about my tire I was told they had not found anything in the tire yet. After waiting an additional 30 minutes I was told my valve stem was leaking which they replaced at no charge. 2 days later I am putting air in the tire again. I can tell the valve stem had not been replaced, same dirty, muddy stem and by the look of the lug nuts I don't think they even took the tire off the truck. read more

I would give it zero if I could. I had a flat tire from out of town. The first people I talked to were very nice, but apparently the shop is incompetent. When we went to pick up the van, they had just put the spare in the back of the vehicle instead of back under it where it belonged. We had to request that they put it under the car. Then, I bought 4 new tires, drove 2.5 hours home and had a flat the next day due to the tire stem. Upon closer inspection, we then realized they had put on the WRONG TIRES! Not only were they not the ones i had purchased, but the front had different size tires than the back. Also, I had asked for them to do an alignment because the inside of the tire was chewed up and i know it had not been like that a few weeks ago. When I went to pick it up, i asked if it had been done. He said no, it didn't need it. So then i asked why was the tire so chewed up. He said he would have to check. When he came back he said it was because my hub bearing was loose! Keep in mind i had a 2.5 hour drive ahead. He said they had ordered one and it would be in Monday! I had told them several times i was in town for a tournament. And because they waited till the end of the day to tell me, it was too late to do anything other than drive back on it. I would NEVER go back to this shop, nor recommend anyone else to. read more

I rarely make reviews, but wanted to take the time to commend Allied Tire. I was in a bit of a time crunch last week driving from LA to CA to make it home for my Grandmother's funeral. I had gotten a flat tire late the night before so was already set back- i accidentally chose Allied Tire and I'm so glad i did. They changed my tires so quickly, but the real reason I am writing is because every single person i encountered who worked there was genuinely kind and compassionate. Best mechanic ever. Went out of their way to help us even though we are from out of town. Very fair prices.

Went to Allied Tire to fix a flat and have my brakes checked. They came back and told me that I needed front AND rear brakes as well as have the rotors REPLACED because they were so 'worn out'. They gave me an estimate of $441.00. I balked at that, as I didn't think my brakes were that bad. I then took it to Brake Specialties on MacArthur Drive (Lake Charles Highway), and guess what??? All I needed were new brake pads and to have the rotors turned. There was NOTHING wrong with my rear brakes, either. Total cost? $156 dollars. And my car brakes better than ever. Beware, Allied Tire & Brake are SCAMMERS. They will scam you if you don't know what you're doing. Will N*E*V*E*R go there again. read more

We had a flat tire on our trailer and pulled into a "mom and pop" store to Change the flat. The store owner got aggravated that it was taking us so long. So we called around and finally found Allied Tire on Mac Arthur road. It was close to 5pm and lots of places we called wee closing and unsympathetic to our need to get home. Allied was not only open but they welcomed us with open arms and got us fixed up quickly and efficiently! Great place. read more
