I made an appointment at Tire Kingdom for an oil change and tire rotation. I was there promptly at 8 am because we had to wait for the service. We were told that they would work as fast as they could but they were understaffed. That was no surprise to me as I have not found one business that was fully staffed. So we were understanding and thanked him for working! We do that now-thank people for working so that we can have the pleasures of shopping, going out to eat, getting our car repaired, etc. They did a great job and our car was ready within an hour. The biggest shout out I have is we had a cap missing from one of our tires and we kept forgetting to buy a replacement. When we got home and I was checking the tire so I could get the proper cap size, they had replaced it!! That is great service!!!! read more

This Tire Kingdom store is fantastic! We were traveling with a boat trailer and needed a new tire. We called another National brand store nearby, who told us to come right in, and then they made us wait two hours, and then wanted another hour or so on top of that. We then called TIRE KINGDOM they told us to come right over, they helped us immediately and we were on our way in about 15 minutes. The only reason im leaving two stars is because the tire patch seems to be holding. When i called asking if they could plug or patch a tire this morning it was about 10:30am. I decided to bring my car here based on the number of overall stars in the review. I should have taken the time to read all the reviews which would have swayed me to go somewhere else. I arrived at this place a little after 11:00am today and left with the understanding the tire patch would take a couple of hours. These modern cars have alerts and locators that report remotely to your phone which mine does as well. A little after 1pm i saw the car had moved from where i left it in the parking lot to one of the garage bays. At 1:34pm i got an alert that the same tire i needed fixed was now flat, a probable indication the tire was taken off the rim for the patch. Removing a tire, patching it, putting it back on the rim, fill with air and balancing should take 20-30 minutes. Next, around 2:30pm, i see my car parked in a grassy overflow lot next to the store location, another indication that the car was done but no phone call. By 2:50pm the car hasn't moved again and i know they close at 5pm, so i decide to call them. "John" tells me he "just got the paper work, and the phone has been ringing so much he didn't have time to call me". I wasn't there so i can not say for sure that it is or isn't that busy there. However, a customers car is finished and at some point it should be a priority to call that customer over taking more calls especially when there are two people working the customer service desk. I feel confident if I hadn't called, i either wouldn't have gotten a call at all or it would have been right before their close time of 5pm which wouldn't have left enough time to get the car the same day. My experience was very much on par with several of the other reviews for this location and unfortunately i would not recommend them. I will say i do not believe the no call was malicious more so than it was carelessness or perhaps absent mindedness. Just the same, i am as busy as the next person and do not appreciate a story when i know the car was sitting for nearly an hour, completed. read more

This place is a total ripoff and very rude and not professional!!!! I took my van in for them to find where it was losing coolant. They charged me $32 and told me it wasn't overheating. I told them that it wasn't overheating, just losing coolant. They were supposed to call me when they were finished since I dropped it off the previous day. They never called so I went there the next afternoon. They couldn't find the key to my van for 15 minutes and told me it wasn't overheating so they did what they charged for me for. ????? It's still losing coolant and I still don't know from where and I'm out $32. IF YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF, GO TO TIRE KINGDOM IN LAND O LAKES!!! read more

I can certainly understand now why Discount Tire leads this industry. Between this Tire Kingdom and their BIG O Tire sister company, I have spent over $10k in the last 2 years on off road tires and rims. I pick up a small something in my tire, which still holds air, but I've been back to the store twice to ask them to take a minute to look at it and tell me if it can be repaired or not. The only answer I receive is "Aw Man, I ain't got time for Tire Repairs". Didn't ask him to repair it, just look at it and tell me what could be done. He didn't ask me to make an appointment, nothing!!! Well, I no longer have the time to spend another dime in this or any other store with the Tire Kingdom or BIG O name on it. Rather, I'll take the time to drive to Discount Tires in Lakeland where they actually know and understand what Good Customer Service looks like!!!! read more

HORRIBLE!!!! What are they thinking? Brought in 4 new Continental ContiTrac (read $200 each) tires and 4 new Autel MX programmable TPMS(tire pressure monitoring system) to be installed on my late model Nissan Titan truck. What a disaster. They proceeded install the new sensors WITHOUT triggering and programming them to the vechile and went ahead and mounted the tires. Programming has to be done on ANY vehicle for them to work. DUH!!! They never told me that their equipment was not compatible with Autel sensors until they were almost finished. WTF? I would STOPPED THE JOB RIGHT THEN. I could of just purchased another brand of sensor that was compatible with their TPMS box and returned the ones I already had. Problem solved. But, No communication by their management WHATSOEVER! How can any company in the tire business NOT know this? Complete and total disregard for the customer and the problem they caused and the time and $$$ it took to correct their work. They appear to "talk a good game" but fail to do the work properly and correctly. So the the job must be done completely over to get it done right by another shop. Right the first time is what's expected or at least tell someone that you CANT do the job. I'm a CarGuy from way back and this ain't my first rodeo. My advice: Never, ever go here even if they offer to do the work for free. Don't walk away. Run. And never look back. Created more of a problem that I had to start with. And I paid them to mess up badly. What has happened to this organization? Something very, very bad to be sure. I only wish "negative stars" were an option. read more

So I started out with an appointment early morning and got there real early possibly for a walk in. I knew it was a stretch but no such luck there which is understandable they have a schedule to keep but I don't think either of the two employees I dealt with know what customer service is. There is a way to go about things and the way it was handled wasn't it. Secondly I came back for my scheduled time and was told the wait was going to be 2 hours for an oil change and alignment check. Never have I experienced such a wait for that. I advised them to skip the alignment as that was the service driving the wait time. The window for the appointment shows and hour so I was expecting that but not double. I hope these guys are great mechanics cuz otherwise idk how they get repeat customers. Next time it's back to the Hudson location where the service was outstanding albeit further away for me read more

The only reason I'm givin y'all three stars is because i had my car serviced in July of 2011 because I was in an accident involving me and a curb. I wrecked my two right tires and had to get a whole new set. I had my car in today (5/24/2013) and it turns out that when my new wheels were put on (all 4 with rims and axles) it was never aligned! I also needed new camber bars (I think? I'm not a car person) and shims, which should have been put in when my car was serviced. There was also an associate who was rude to me and told me my problems with my car were in my head. But I digress. We worked with Joe today and he was very nice and helpful and very willing to help fix everything. read more

I ran over a curb and blew out one of my tires. I had my car towed to Tire Kingdom at about 3 o'clock PM and they close at 6 PM. They told me there were a few cars ahead of me and that I would have to wait. I was OK with that because I did not have an appointment and I was just grateful that it could be fixed the same day. I waited until about 15 minutes before they closed and asked what was the status of my car. It had not been moved from the parking spot that it was towed to. They said I was next in line. What I didn't understand was that at about every 45 minutes I would go to the front office to check on my car, and see employees outside just standing around doing nothing, and there was no one up front to ask what was going on. why did they wait until 15 minutes before closing to work on my car with all these employees standing around outside all that time? It just didn't make sense to me. I also think I could have gotten a better deal at Firestone or goodyear. I probably will go to one of those places next time. read more

I called up this Tire Kingdom to inquire about the price of two tires including balance and installation for my car. I wound up with two good tires and two good new friends with the two guys that work the counter area. Both Armando Alicea and Ed Carpenter were strangers to me when I walked into their store for my two tires. Each of them were kind, courteous and considerate of my needs. I felt like they treated me like a member of their family and gave me honest answers (not salesman-type answers) to some of my pointed questions and concerns regarding my vehicle and tire needs. There are not many tire/car repair places where you will find straight forward, sincere advice like these guys gave to me. I felt they treated me like I've been good friends with them for years. I had to visit Tire Kingdom yesterday, 9/20/15, after an unexpected incident with a flat tire. I was 2 hours away from home when my tire went flat on I-75. (3 kids in the car!) I googled the closest Tire Kingdom per a recommendation from a family member as they are open on Sunday. It was 5:40 when I called the location nearest me (fortunately one about 10 minutes away, Brinson Rd. in Lutz) and was told they close at 6. I got there about 10 minutes to 6. They got me right in and put on my new tire. I was there for about 20 minutes, so after they "closed", but staff were very friendly and not rude due to working late on a Sunday! So my experience was definitely a good one, and I am very grateful they were there. I believe it was a manger I dealt with and the technician was Brian, both were wonderful. read more

It's always disappointing when you are lied to but I give people the benefit of the doubt when a logical excuse is offered. Lie to me twice and you've lost my business forever!! I've been going to Tire Kingdom, in Land o Lakes, for many years. I was originally sucked in when I bought 4 tires and was offered the free tire rotation & balance service every time I returned for an oil change. Within a year of purchasing those 4 new tires, they were worn equally and new tires were recommended (I only put about 8000 miles a year on my car). The mechanic made the comment that I need to rotate my tires every time I get an oil change....hmmmm.....I do...at Tire Kingdom. However, they showed me the balding so I agreed to purchase 4 new tires and they had 4 other recommended things that I purchased. The more I thought about it, I felt concerned about the statement the mechanic made because I religiously get oil changes and tire rotations. So at my next oil change, I marked one of the tires to confirm the rotation and balance. To my surprise they did not do as they said and it was on my itemized receipt. I called and was told the mechanics changed shifts in the middle of my service and one thought the other did it. Ok, I'm reasonable. I'll believe you this time. But what do you know, I just had my oil changed an hour ago and once again decided to mark one of my tires. Guess what?? No tire rotation and balance. This is very dishonest and deliberate. The "free" tire rotation and balance draws customers back (which is great marketing) but it requires Tire Kingdom hold up their end of the bargain. This time I won't call Tire Kingdom for another excuse. I'm no fool. But, I will tell everyone I know of the scam this individual shop is pulling. And unfortunately for them, I talk a lot and WAS a loyal customer. I will never ever return to this shop and they have made a lot of money off of me over the years. Shame on you Tire Kingdom!!! I've been to this location right off of 41 in the Lutz/Land O Lakes area many times over the years and they've always been great. I bought my current tires there almost 2 years ago, and I've been back there since for break pad replacement, oil changes, and tire rotations. Usually Armando has helped me, and he's been awesome every time. This morning, I noticed that I had a nail stuck in my tread, so I went in and talked to Jan & Orlando. They told me that when I bought the tires originally, I did not pay for the road hazard warranty, and to patch my tire it would cost me $19.95. I was frustrated because I thought I did buy the warranty, but even if I didn't, I knew there were other tire places in the area that would patch my tire for free (even if I hadn't bought the tires there), and I could just take it to one of those places instead. Jan & Orlando went and asked Armando and they told me that they'd do it for FREE for me. They did the right thing; they knew that I had spent lots of money there over the years, and now they've ensured that I'll continue to go there for all my automotive needs. That's the kind of people you want to do business with, people who care and do the right thing. Thank you, Armando, Jan, & Orlando! You guys rock! And Chris Grassi has also been awesome up at the Spring Hill location when I've gone up there over the years. You guys are the KINGS & QUEENS of tires! read more
