Had a check engine light on a 2011 Tahoe. They checked everything said was fine. When I picked up vehicle the check engine light was still on. When I got it home and checked it out the battery terminals were cleaned but the contacts (cables) were not.My wife could not start vehicle . I brushed off and the vehicle started. No more check engine light. So why did I pay 50 dollars for and wait 2 days for this incompetent service. They just lost a customer with multiple vehicles. Go see a shop with skilled mechanics because issue was so easy to resolve and they did a shitty job! read more

They responded quickly which was great and appreciated. I wanted my shocks and struts to be replaced, and I independently purchased them because I wanted a warranty on my parts . However the response was that they don't install parts purchased from the customer . I had a follow up with a question which was why don't they install parts pre purchased - because I'd like to have a warranty on my parts . The response was "we don't provide warranty " , which I knew they wouldn't provide warranty on my parts since I pre purchased my part with its own warranty and they didn't answer if they do provide warranty on their own parts and labor . My main question was why don't they install pre purchased parts and I was hoping they gave me another option alternative option. It was a missed opportunity was they didn't give me another option for the service, such as offering me warranty on parts and labor if I used their service/business . Maybe even educating me as a future client as to the why their business doesn't do that . Overall the response was quick but my question wasn't answered . The good: Friendly, honest, and they can usually work you in pretty quick. On the downside, they seem pricey. They charge a mandatory $115 "diagnostic fee", which is not subtracted from the cost of repairs. So, for example, even if you know you need brakes they are going to charge you $115 to tell you that you need brakes! The real purpose of the $115 diagnostic seems to be to check out your whole car (fluids, brakes, battery, etc) so they can recommend additional services/repairs. Parts seem to be marked up excessively. I needed two window regulators/motors. I could see the after-market parts for $50-$200 at NAPA, Autozone, and O'Reilly, but they quoted me $396 (x2). So basically, almost a 100% markup. They quoted me $532 for rear brakes, Jiffy Lube quoted $500, and I had Firestone do it for $476. So again, pricing is on the high side PLUS the mandatory $115 diagnostic fee. read more

Just wanted to leave this review after a tough morning with a flat. A guy in my neighborhood recommended them. I was hesitant but it's so close I had to try. They got me in on the spot. They took a look and knew it was unpatchable but tried to give me every option out there. Even giving me a quote and leading me the right direction for new tires. I took the man's advice and it made my day a whole lot easier. They didn't fix the entire issue but could have easily just sent me away without further conversation. I have been in auto repair for over 45 years. Stopped here for a simple estimate for one item as they could not give over the phone for a maintenance check. They take it upon themselves to write up everything you do not ask for. Such as radiator flush (which just had one 2 weeks earlier) they suggested an oil change (which just had one 4 weeks earlier) among other unneeded service. Its apparent someone unplugged my AC compressor and tampered with the radiator cap seal too to give an appearance of a leak. This was all working before my car entered the shop of horrors. Very nice folks in the office but the techs not too sure of their own agenda. I ran from this place and never looked back. You folks make up your minds but reviews are sometimes do not depict accuracy. read more

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation. new wipers. It was assigned to a new inexperienced mechanic and I was not aware of that. The mechanic didn't tighten oil drain nut, didn't remove new wiper blade covers, and didn't properly tighten lug nuts on wheels. I came home and garage was quickly covered with oil, wipers scratched windshield when I turned them on for a few seconds, I had to take to Toyota and have it all redone, so I paid both places for the same work. linda the always wonderful kind cashier at Willow Bend assured me that day the owner would call me, but he never did, even after I called to speak to him a handful of times for a few days.s. Would not recommend nor go back to Willow Bend again. The owner was rude not to call to discuss after I was promised he definitely would call me that day. Before then service was good and work was done by experienced mechanics, but allowing a new person who did everything wrong is unacceptable. Very disappointed. You lost me, my wife, my family, and friends as customers due to no response from owner and really poor service provided. my garage is also ruined from all the leaked puddle of oil. read more

They have repaired some extensive damages to my vehicle as well as wonderful with regular maintenance and oil changes. I had a total suspension replacement, and a battery that was less than 5 mo old ends up calling it quits. they went the extra mile and contacted the warranty, had a new one delivered, and installed. that is going the extra mile. they also had me come back next day when I mentioned something was t working right. most places would have you wait a week or two due to scheduling conflicts but they worked me in. This is hands down the most reliable, honest repair shops in the area. I had my car towed there recently for what AAA considered a computer issue. They looked at it immediately, found out it was a bad battery causing the computer hiccups. They took care of it and I had my car back in a couple of hours. My 2011 car stalled out multiple time and was accelerating when in park. Willow bend automotive called and told me my filter was dirty and once they cleaned that the problem went away however they found Multiple issues. Over 1500 dollars to fix it was a lot but we have to have a reliable vehicle. Fast forward to the day after we got the vehicle fixed we noticed it was missing a little when we slowed down or in park. A couple weeks later the car stopped while behind another vehicle on a busy road. The thing I brought it in for was NEVER fixed. So now more than 500.00 more they want to fix something that was supposed to be fixed. Unbelievable. Yesterday I asked the mechanic if it would cost me something and today they called back and told me a different story. I went by good reviews. Never again. I feel scammed. read more

Be very careful if you chose to use this mechanic. They will charge you double markup on parts. (Proof below.) This is unethical. We are from out of town. Our car broke down and we had to have it fixed immediately. Google had relatively good reviews of this mechanic. However, the tow truck driver did not recommend them. Now I know why. Our bill for repair was way too high. In full disclosure, they did call ahead with the price estimate and I approved. That's my fault. But after receiving the bill, they would not provide an itemized bill, to hide the fact they intentionally overcharged. I noticed the part was quoted $688! This was way too high. After research, the Napa part they used only cost retail $344. Guess what $344 times two is? You guessed it: $688. I caught them doubling the price on me. Not only would they not fix it, they would not accept that they knowingly charged too much. Please do not use this mechanic unless you have written quotes and double check everything they say. I cannot say enough good things about this business and how professional and quickly they handled my stressful situation. The owner was very nice and helpful when my automatic window suddenly went down and would not come back up again just before I was leaving for an important meeting. I had very limited time to get it fixed and when a couple other repair shops in the area turned me away, they were able to order the part and get it fixed in record time and did not charge me an arm and a leg as I had anticipated. They charge a very honest/fair price for all the work they do, and get your car back to you FAST. I have been coming to this shop for close to TEN YEARS now, with all (4) of my family's vehicles. I contacted Willow Bend Automotive to preform a pre-purchase inspection on a car. Being out of town, I wanted to be sure it was "as advertised". Turns out it was not! I had asked for a very in depth analysis of the car which was going to cost me at least 2-3 hours labor as well as other diagnostic costs, which I was okay with. Bob at Willow Bend quickly determined that the car was not as advertised. They documented the deficiencies and sent me several pictures. They also called and said it would be a waste of $ to do all the tests. End result is they kept me from buying a bad car, and they only charges me 1/2 hr labor. I wish I was local to them. Called to have a major repair, they got me in right away. Did the repair, but there was a problem. On the way home, the car stalled and wouldn't start, turns out that a wire was shorting the system out. Called the guys at Willow Bend and they had someone out to my car that morning. It's never easy moving to a new state and having all of these new choices to make. What doctor, dentist, automotive center.... Initially we tried our local Toyota center when my daughters car started to make a strange noise. The estimate we got there was over a thousand dollars! It was time for a second opinion. Willow Bend Automotive had some great reviews, so we came here. It was a great decision. This is a husband and wife team with great customer service and an honest business. You don't have to worry about what "up-sell" special could be running like the Chains sometimes seem to offer. Being part of several car clubs and organizations i will make sure to relay the experience i had at your auto center and the "commotion" your front desk lady said i created first visit over 45 dollars will be little to compare to the business i will direct away from your business. After reading your response to another users one star i can see how unprofessional you are and how personal you take reviews. She hung up before i could say anymore after cancelling my appointment after i drove there sweating my ass off in my car with no ac just to set the appointment. You think the other guy was ANGRY? You ain't seen nothing. I fixed the evaporator myself as your technicicans clearly don't know enough about bmws so maybe you should just not service any bmw and don't take money from bmw owners. I will screenshot this and report on the bimmer pages and walls and already got taken care of at Midnight Tuning in Tampa a much more reputable shop who will charge me NOTHING for an ac diagnostics. So just one customer who veers away from your shop will take hundreds of dollars out of your business over a 45 dollar miscommunication by your crappy front desk lady. I just moved to the area and didn't know any mechanics. I looked on yelp and found only 1 review. So I looked them up on Google and every review was 5 stars. The hood latch on my car broke so I couldn't drive far or fast or it would open. I went there for that and an oil change. I had to jump my car a few weeks ago and the cable came off. I had all the plastic and springs and handle off... Big headache. They did the oil change. Then they fixed and put back together everything at no charge. They told me what Will need to be replaced soon on the hood assembly but they bought me some time. Paid 26 dollars for great service and honesty. I highly recommend and this will be the only place I bring my cars. read more
