Used to be good business until they diagnosed my problem as a bad starter motor. Two starters later, a large bill, and without my F-150 for a week, they found a bad relay was the problem. I rarely give out five star reviews for anything, anywhere. But after many years of working with the folks at Quality Care, I can say they've earned it. What's as impressive as what they DO, is what they DON'T DO. Example: Push button start was becoming slower and slower, worrying me that I'd be stranded somewhere someday soon. Took it back to ____-Mart, where I bought the battery, and was assured that it was fine. Took it to QCA, explained the situation, expecting that it might be a dying starter or alternator. After checking everything out, they informed me it was a bad battery cell after all. Lousy mechanics could've easily tried to sell me a new alternator or starter. Great ones don't. I've had similar experiences with them over the years, so this was not a one-time deal. Just know that you'll probably need an appointment: honest, competent shops like this are in high demand. read more

I got a pretty severe flat on the way to work, and managed to pull into this place before going totally flat. I noticed this shop in the plaza, and figured I'd see what they can do. Though I missed her name, the kind lady working the front desk helped me out tremendously, and got my tire plugged enough to get myself home to order a new one. I'll be honest by saying I'm always a skeptic when it comes to automotive repair centers! Most of the time, you're unable to trust service technician's assessment due to misdiagnosis which can be costly. However, this automotive repair center by far has been genuinely HONEST! I can't remember how long I've been going to these guys, but they're absolutely fantastic. Whenever my car has an issue, I used to dread it incredibly. Usually now, I'll just sweat it a little and know I just gotta get it over to them so they can take a look at it and get me back on the road without trouble. I usually go here for an oil change, but I've been here several times for other services and repairs. Every time they've been very nice and helpful, not to mention pretty quick in their repairs! The front desk is very polite, whether you're calling in or doing a walk-in. The waiting area is clean and respectable with nice furniture. There's even some stools at the front counter if you need to sit while going over paperwork or getting your appointment set up. These guys are fantastic and I recommend them to everyone I know. read more

Great shop, happy to explain your options. Reasonable prices. But you will need to call in advance to make an appointment; they are usually two to five days out. Only downside is that it's a fairly old school waiting area. But Dunkin' Donuts and Village Inn are within waking distance if you need to wait. read more

This is my go to shop. I've lived in the area 5 years and I've taken all of my cars. Dustin is true and honest and doesn't over sell or over price you. And best of all if he knows it's something he can't do he'll tell you up front. Best thing that happened I brought my wife's '13 Explorer and told him that she heard a noise near the radiator. Dustin and his team looked at the car for a whole day and called to tell me there is nothing they could see or hear and gave me back my car. How many other shops would have taken this opportunity to find something to over price me just to make a buck. Not here. Need something fixed come to quality. read more

I took my car there to get my turn signal fixed. I had to take it back 2 more times because they didn't fix it properly the first or second time. Additionally, when they put it back together they broke my cruise control and it no longer works. The workmanship is shoddy and I will not go back. read more

My wife has taken her car to this mechanic and gotten good service, but my first experience with them was horrible. I had a car towed in for overheating and was given an initial estimate of $550 for part and labor and given to understand more work might be required. On the good side, they are friendly and the lady who checked us in was very polite, found us in the computer, and verified our contact information. Perhaps, I am foolish, but I actually thought they might call me if the car required more work than the initial estimate. I actually thought that was the point of verifying contact information. I appreciate how difficult a problem like the one I was having is to diagnose and fix, but I don't think a phone call before ordering extra parts and installing them is too much to ask. Call me crazy. I got a call the next day that the car was ready to be picked up and the bill would be $300 more than they had quoted because extra work was required. Needless to say, I was not pleased and decided to talk with them when I picked up the car. When there are problems, I prefer to deal with people face to face. The strange thing is a don't think that they even understood why how they handled my situation would upset someone. Too bad. The owner explained the difference in the quote and the extra work that was required, but could not explain why he didn't call me again before doing $300 more work. I won't ever go back to this mechanic because there is no good reason not to call a customer when a bill is going to be substantially more than the estimate. He said that it was not practical to call customers every time that a part had to be added and that I would be just as upset about being called several times and nickled and dimed. No, not really. I just like to know what's been done and what it's going to cost so I can authorize it. I have never had a mechanic do work to a car without talking to me and getting it approved. Except for at Quality Care. Although they were polite in handling the problem, they did not offer me anything except removing of the part and leaving me with a car that would not run. Again, since the work was not authorized ahead of time, I consider it extremely poor service. To add insult to injury, I got behind the wheel of my repaired car after paying the bill and the check engine light was still on. Overall, I believe they are good mechanics and honest, but the manner in which they handled the quote and repair left quite a bit to be desired. I'll never use them again and don't recommend them to anyone. read more

Very nice and honest people here. I will never go anywhere else for my car needs. Last week I had my 2009 Nissan Cube towed here. Jeff told me the transmission was shot. He did some research for me and found what he thought was a extended warranty from Nissan. When he called they said No. He called me the next day told me a new transmission would cost $3000 to replace. But, he suggested I contact Nissan myself and work on that extended warranty . Nissan was having problems with this transmission and had extended the warranty from 60,000 to 120,000. I ended up getting a new transmission from Nissan. I will not go back there again! I went in for an oil change, and the mechanic relaced the old filter with a wrong size filter-- causing a severe oil leak. I took my car to South Florida Auto Repair, Jerry, who discovered the problem. He gave me the too small, saturated oil filter they had used and advised I return it to Quality Care Automotive Center. I am too disgusted to return to Quality Care Automotive Center, which Is Not truly a quality business. It's a shame some people still take advantage of women, and people in general. read more

The most honest, reliable automotive repair shop in the area. We have been taking our cars here for a few years now and always find the staff extremely helpful, and they run the shop with integrity. We recently moved a little further away so I tried out another auto shop closer to home. The new place kept telling me all this stuff that I needed to do and I took their word for it. This past time though I was getting a little Leary so decided to bring it to Quality Care Automotive for a second opinion. I told them exactly what the other shop told me, got the quote and brought the car in. They called me and said the repairs that were recommended are not needed at all and they cannot find anything wrong with the car. That is a great honest business! They could have charged me the $800 and I wouldn't have known any better. Places like this give me hope that some people in society are still good! Thank you!
