A simple tire patch was all I needed. I have foam lined tires and the tech said he needed to rip out the foam and damage my tires to fix a minor screw hole. Take your business elsewhere. They don't know what they're doing and it's a simple job to patch a tire. A tire plug is all that I needed and that's too hard to do on anything newer than a 2010 or newer car for these guys and gals. read more

I had full intentions of forgetting the previous issue, apologizing if needed and moving on (again, I thought it was taken care of). However, now I stand behind my previous rating ever stronger. I was just informed, the reply to these reviews is an automatic response done as "consumer maintenance". It's just for show. What started this entire issue was either someone made a mistake and was trying to cover it up or it was miscommunication. Either way, even though I thought it was already resolved, I tried again to make it right.

We put down $800 and were coming back in two days to put down another $200 to have a $1000 down payment. When we came back, the older gentleman stated we could have the lienholder's agreement. I came back two days later as planned, payed the $200 and got the lienholder's agreement. The next month, went back to pay our monthly payment when the man stated he still had not received our $200 down payment. He stated he didn't even remember me coming in two days later. I showed him the lienholder's agreement that he and I signed. He said "well, if you don't have a receipt, you still owe me. Because the leinholder's agreement was a verbal agreement to give when down payment was recieved, it did not count'. He is a total "used car salesman", only trying to take advantage of people. Maybe he is just to old to remember, but either way, you don't want this place handling your money!! Small claims court here we come.

Today (Friday) I had a nail in a tire and stopped by to get it fixed. They told a 72 year old man with Parkinson's that they might could squeeze me in sometime on Monday with a big smile on their face. I left and drove to Hines tire on 6th street and in twenty minutes the tire was fixed and I was on my way. I guess I learned if you only have trouble that can be scheduled days ahead of time Shoals is one of the places to try. If you have unscheduled trouble you might need to go elsewhere. I am truly disappointed at the service I did not receive.
