I have been coming here for years ,my family and friends as well . Never had a problem , put a plug in one of my tires at no charge !! I highly recommend bringing any tire issues here as they will look after you quickly and efficiently. Also they will alert you of any mechanical issues that they notice when doing your tires, such as brake shoes need replacing, struts are bad etc etc . Terrible customer service and brought my car there to get tires changed both times they broke off a wheel stud so if you want people who truly could care less about messing up your vehicle while giving you attitude this is the place for you. I had tire service done to a tire that was leaking TWO days later it is STILL LEAKING, I went to the shop the owner was not in I had to deal with a young man I assume he was the owners SON by the IGNORANT attitude he displayed,telling me " You are being Passive-aggressive towards me " obviously therapy wasn't working, he finally quit playing games and a Pleasant technician fixed the tire for a Second time. read more

Tire Shop plus is great, especially if you're after part worn tires. I drive a 2003 Olds Alero (silence! I will hear nothing bad said about my car!) with 16 inch rims, needless to say it's not always that easy to find tires to fit said car for cheap. Tire Shop Plus is extremely competitively priced. The staff are friendly and very helpful, my visit was very quick too. They had me in and out in about an hour - that time included 15 mins of me selecting tires. I like the set up, they basically have every tire out on racks which you work you way around until you find tires in your side. I understand some people have complained in previous reviews about having to look themselves - I have no issue with this. The order of size is pretty easy to sus out, tires are clearly marked and pricing is there too - no issue! After fitting they informed me I could bring the tires back in the next month if there's any issue, I wasn't expecting any kind of warranty as I was buying part worns so this came as a pleasant surprise. 4 stars for this tire place. I drove up with no appointment, had my car full of tires to be put on and the winter ones taken off. My car was in the bay within 5 minutes and the tires were changed in 10. The whole thing was 15 minutes and VERY reasonably priced. The winter tires were nicely bagged and put in my car for me. I'm almost reluctant to post this review...I don't want to many people knowing about my special tire place... read more

I bought some tires online because I found a way better deal and better tire, I brought it to them to install on my vehicle and they did not torque them and noticed the next day they broke a lug nut stud, I brought it back to them and the were very rude and said they are not responsible! I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone! read more

You'll most likely pass the shop without knowing it's there or think it's closed but when their sign reads, "best place in town to take a leak" you can't help but stop and take notice. The Tire Shop Plus provides tire sales, repair and maintenance for your vehicle. It's a tiny shop but is always busy - that tells you something. We've been going here for a number of years and it's a hidden treasure in the city, just get past the fact it's on 118 Avenue. Their prices are reasonable, service good and upfront. This place is a great deal, and super fast. Joe helped me out, and he was so great. It was literally half the cost of some of the bigger places (fountain tire, Canadian tire). As soon as you walk in, it's wall to wall tires. Not fancy, but it definitely gets the job done. read more

They wanted $135 to change over my winter tires for my summer tires. Called Kal tire and they only charged me $53 For the same service. Bunch of unskilled grease monkeys looking to rip you off! Don't go there!!! read more

I am very disappointed in this place, it started with the phone call. I called to find out if they had a tire for my Explorer and was asked to hold on right after I said hello, then they forgot about me... I stayed on the phone and could hear them talking for 8 MINUTES, then they guy came back on the phone and said "oh, you are still there?" I asked about the tire I needed and specified that I needed only ONE tire, he said that's fine and that they range in price from $35 to $45 per tire, I thought that was cheap enough to deal with crap service so I went there. Then it got worse.... I got to the shop, a guy looked at me standing at the counter (which was hard to find) then he went back to his conversation for a minute before asking if he could help me. I let him know what size I needed, he pointed and said "those are over there" I walked around the corner and he led me to a shelf that had the size I needed, mumbled something about how some are marked as pairs and some are sets (I assumed of 4) and then walked away. ????? What the hell did he expect me to do ?? I stood there for a while looking at their tiny selection, with prices in the range of $39 to $69 (not $45). I asked if they would split up a set and sell me a pair and he said I would have to talk to the owner and he walked away (I have no idea who the owner was). I went back to looking at the tires again and found one that was a single marked at $69, a guy cam e up and asked if I was looking for tires, I asked if he could do better than $69, he said no and as I was in the middle of saying "I guess I don't have a choice, I'll take it" he walked away from me mid sentence, I was once again left standing there by myself, staring at a bunch of tires. I left and went to Rerun tire on the south side, they had me in immediately, found me a tire, told me it was $50 inc. GST ($5 LESS than they quoted me on the phone) and had it installed and out the door in less than 15 minutes. I went to Tire Shop plus because a friend of mine recommended it based on price, I guess their prices must have gone up since he was last there. read more

I called all over to get two used winter tires for my 2009 car. No one had the right size or they were way overpriced. This place had 3. I drove there & they helped me immediately. The two tires were unneeded were on the car within 20 minutes. The price was the most reasonable for tires, installation & balancing I could find. I'll be going back there for tires when I need them next! read more

Needed one tire for a light truck. They checked the old tire first to see if it could be repaired but couldn't as it had sidewall damage (which I had been told a few months earlier and forgotten). All around great service, they did a visual inspection on the rest of my tires as I was going on a short road trip the next day. Checked the pressure in all of them as well. Quick installation and great price for a very good tire (still happy four months and a few thousand km later). The sales counter is on the other side of the waiting room, you'll see what I mean when you get there - just go around. read more

Works for me. Been there three times to buy tires over the past 3 years, at about 30% or more off retail prices. The process of sales is unconventional as it's hard to tell who to talk too, but friendly and they know who's paying their bills. Unlike most tire places they didn't charge me for stems, shop supplies, wax for the owner new yacht or toilet paper. I like their approach. I will return. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced! I went into the shop to ask a question because they were not picking up the phone when I called. I got there an hour and a half before close and after waiting 15 minutes just to be acknowledged (as the phone kept ringing and everyone was ignoring it), I was told by an older-looking sales person that they weren't taking any more orders that day. I said that I just wanted to ask a question about rims for my car, but the person I was speaking with did not recognize the make and model of the car and told me that they don't have rims for it. When I asked if he could order them for me, he said he could, but not today (fair enough, I said). I then asked if he could tell me the price, but he said he didn't have time to tell me today and that I should come back to ask another day. I won't be driving there again just to ask a question that I should be able to get an answer for by calling. Incidentally, another customer was inquiring about winter tires while I was there and that same sales person asked him quite rudely if he was going to take them or not and then added "because I don't care." I don't know about the other sales people there, but the man I dealt with was rude, lacked simple knowledge someone in the auto shop business should have, was completely unhelpful, and literally didn't care at all about customer service! read more
