Due to some damage to my car, I was needing an estimate. I called around to see how quickly and…read moreeasily I can get an estimate or two. Homewood auto body does not require an appointment to get an estimate. I was really appreciative of that fact and flexibility. When I arrived a little after four and walked into the office, a friendly man named Hubert greeted me and asked me how he could help me. . He immediately went out and assessed my vehicle and within 10 minutes or so I was on my way with a printed document for the repair estimate. Super convenient. Friendly people. And the parking lot was packed so that tells me a lot about the work they do and the reputation they have. Besides, their wall is full of accolades for who they are as a business!

I am highly dissatisfied with the service I received from Homewood Autobody Specialist. I requested…read morean estimate to have the entire exterior body work completed on my car. I was quoted and paid $9,897 in cash under the clear impression that this covered the full job. When I picked up my car, it still had scratches and an entire unfinished patch on the roof. When I brought this up, I was told those areas "were not included in the estimate." This explanation is unacceptable. For nearly $10,000, no customer should walk away with visible, unaddressed damage--especially when I was upfront about wanting the complete body work done. I am hurt and extremely upset and feel as if my money was waisted I had to take another vehicle of mine to classic collision which is were my insurance referred me to 0 issues and they sent me daily updates and pictures of what the were doing so if you would like a better option then Classic Collision is were you should go Although the staff at homewood auto was polite, professionalism goes beyond manners. It means delivering what was promised and standing behind your work. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. I will not return to this business, nor will I recommend them to others. Customers deserve better accountability and integrity than what I experienced. AND AS I STATED IF I ASKED YOU TO DO THE ENTIRE OUTER BODY OF THE CAR AND YOU FAIL TO INCLUDE IT IN THE ORIGINAL ESTAMINET KNOWING THAT I DONT CLEARLY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE WRITING SHOW POOR PERFORMANCE THAT IS YOU JOB BUT NO WORRIES I TOOK IT TO CLASSIC COLLISION AND THEY ARE CURRENTLY CORRECTING ALL THE INSSUE HERE IS YOUR WARNING DO NOT GO HER EVER!!! THEY ARE VERY POLITE BUT THE WORK ITSELF IS HORRIFIC!!!

Picked the car up on 8/19/26 and it still was not right. I would not refer this place to anyone. I took my car in to have the bumper replaced and painted. When I got it back the undercarriage was not connected and the bumper was much darker than my car. I advised Ben that the undercarriage was not aligned with the bottom of the car. He led me to believe that he had fixed that issue before I left. While driving the car the next day, the undercarriage began to drag on the interstate. I took it back to him. He led me to believe it was fixed a second time. While driving the car to Montgomery, the undercarriage began to drag again. I spoke with them about it when I returned on Monday. He told me to bring it back when they were ready to correct the paint issue. I took the car back now to have the paint job corrected and a new undercarriage installed. While driving my car the next day which would be Thursday afternoon, the brand new undercarriage came lose again. At this point, I am done with them. I took it somewhere else and have now finally gotten my undercarriage installed correctly. Mind you, it was never a problem from the start. Also, they got paint on parts of the car that were not a part of the paint job. Examples: my windshield and lights. My car was full of dust, my steering wheel had grime all over it and my door has dirty hand marks. He said we don't clean cars. ‍ They could at least dust it and wipe the instead. Again I say beware!!! You have been warned.
