Either they thought I was stupid because I was female or that I was rich because I had a new car but they tried to charge me $49.50 a tire to mount and balance my snow tires. They told me because I didn't buy tires from them they charge extra. I drove less than a half a mile from there to Town Fare Tire and they charged me $65.00 total for all 4 tires!!!! had to buy 4 tires in order to pass inspection, so I popped in to price them out. I chose some lower end tires since I haven't driven my car as much since I retired. After I selected them, I was offered 2 used tires that had little wear that would save me about $150. I really appreciated the offer but opted to continue with the new tires. I was very appreciative that they would take such an interest in helping me save some money. I have been to this business to have my tire sensors broken while new tires were mounted. They worked before I had new tires put on but when I questioned it was told about sensor batteries and then I was charged 100.00 per sensor unless I bought all four. This business doesn't have great service techs and the guys at the counter are less than polite. Beware of what you don't know. read more

Yesterday afternoon I walked out to my car and what do you know, I have a flat. In trying to decide where to take it I thought that Tire Warehouse would be a good choice, and I was not disappointed. The staff here is great and really knowledgeable. They showed me exactly where the puncture was and gave me a few different options for repairing is since the puncture was in a weird spot. In the end I went for the used tire option, and the final cost after install was $60. This was a steal in comparison to other places. In the end I am happy that I stopped in here. It was great to wait in their comfortable waiting area which had great music on the radio. The final plus about this place is that I always love the inspirational quotes they have on their board. This place just saved my life. Driving home to Brooklyn from vermont. Two kids a dog and grandma in the car. Got a flat on my stupid "run flats" on the 91 at 4:45 on a holiday. My husband and I have brought several of our vehicles here over the years and have always been happy with the results. The staff are friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in, and service is fast, whether replacing a flat or all four tires. They explain your options clearly, and offer recommendations for other local shops when your car needs other services. They have a clean, comfortable waiting area with coffee, wifi, and even a mini waterfall. I can't honestly speak about the price compared to other shops, but I feel that they are reasonable for the quality of tires and service offered, and they have always been happy to talk with me about options for the best deal (used vs. new, coupons or specials, etc). read more

Today I popped in around 12:30pm to drop off my car to have the snow tires put on. About 20mins later I received a call with some bad news - my snow tires are not in the best shape. I was super stressed and did not have the money for 4 new tires. I told the person who called me I really just need these ones to last a few weeks while I sort out what to do. They said that it would be ok, my tires could last a few weeks but definitely not all winter. Then they offered to work with me to find the right tires at the right price. I was so relieved!!! first-come, first-served. it is possible to call ahead and get your name in the queue when they are super busy, so try that if time is an issue for you. also yelpers, check in and get 20% off your tire changeovers! just like that! inside, it's buddha statues and positive messages hung on the walls between fancy tire rims and other standard tire shop fare. such friendly service, a father-son operation. i wouldn't expect to say this sort of thing about a tire shop where i go twice a year to swap out my snows, but: i can feel the love! for real! and you will too. at checkout, everybody who wants one gets a carnation. carnations last practically forever. you look it on your windowsill at home and think, man, those guys at tire warehouse are sweet. and they are. totally deserving of five stars, even without the flowers. but what a nice touch, eh? read more

Despite living a few feet from this place for 2 1/2 years, I went there for the first time on Friday. They were fantastic! I had a flat and they have free flat repair, but unfortunately my tire couldn't be salvaged. My son and I had walked over to McDonald's for lunch so Glenn called me and let me know about the flat tire, and asked if I wanted to get a used tire. He said everything would cost less than $65. I said yes and not 10 minutes later he called and said, all done! I couldn't believe how fast they were! Not only that they had the same kind of tire I already had on the car. I was able to schedule an appointment online, and to receive very fast service the day of my appointment. I left for an hour, returned, was able to pay my bill and even received a flower as a thank you. Then, they asked that I return the following day so they could check the air pressure level in my tires (given that it's been so hot out, and they wanted to make sure my tires didn't lose air -- well, nitrogen, as that's what they put in). The place was buzzing with activity, but the guy at the desk reassured us that it wouldn't take too long. About a half-hour later, our tire was fixed, and the bill only came to $24.95. (I'm told some places charge only $15, but given the circumstances, we were very happy to pay $25.) The desk guy was very pleasant, smart, and on the level.
