If you're looking for a wedding venue, look no further. Aside from the beautiful views with the gazebo outside and huge venue space, the biggest asset they have going here is your personal wedding coordinator Jennifer. With the wedding package they provide, it's basically a one-stop-shop and Jennifer is thankfully there to hold your hand the entire way. From the specific napkin fold that I desired, to table linen colors, to the room layout, she made sure everything I needed/wanted was perfect and within my budget. I couldn't imagine doing this within my budget without their seamless package options and checklists that get you set to start even the smallest details from 12+ months away up until the very day of your wedding. The event itself was also flawless. The waitstaff and bartenders were professional, my place settings were laid out perfectly, my bridal party's waitstaff made sure our drinks were full and we had food to eat. They have a giant ballroom for your event, but my group was a little smaller. They helped balance the space out with elegant dividers so that my wedding space felt right and the room didn't look bare. I just wish I could express in the right enough words how perfect my wedding was thanks to Jennifer and her team.

Beautiful late-winter sunset at the Tirrell Room.

I attended a wedding here a couple of weekends ago. The drinks were flowing and the food was delicious. They served a plated dinner, and we had the stuffed chicken and pumpkin ravioli. The reception began at 5 pm in March, so there was a beautiful sunset over the property as we were eating dinner. My husband and I made sure to step outside and snap a photo. The only downside of this venue was that there was no separate cocktail hour area, so everyone just sat at their assigned tables during the cocktail hour and didn't really mingle. If you're looking for a venue near Boston, this would be a nice choice!

We were a little worried that no one would be around the morning of the wedding to set them up for us, but Jen set it all up for us!!

Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by a gentleman who had clearly been over‑served. He was unsteady on his feet, nearly knocked over my husband's drink, and even harassed another couple. I honestly don't know how he got home. I hope a ride share was called for him, because if he had driven and harmed someone, Granite Links could have faced serious liability. Situations like this are exactly why bartenders must be more responsible and attentive to the condition of the patrons they serve. I don't blame the man himself fully. I blame Granite Links. The waiter also bears responsibility. Servers can observe when guests are becoming unstable or intoxicated, even when drinks are being delivered to tables rather than ordered at the bar.

Especially if its during sunset and its a clear night. This ballroom/ golf course/ club is located on top of a big hill and so you can deff tell its on a hill. The drinks were good from the bar at the ballroom and the food that I had was fine. Nothing special but my friends enjoyed the shrimp/poke station. The outdoor area in the front was nice too. Views all around were amazing. You could see Boston from here. Not sure when I would be back here.

Having…read moreattended many showers over the years we were pretty sure about what to expect, a pleasant afternoon celebrating the coming of the new baby and parents. To our delight this event went above and beyond the usual shower celebration First, we noted the Neighborhood Club offers several spaces where a shower can be held. Our gracious event manager Christina, who had attended to every detail in the planning of the occasion, guided us to the "Living Room," a cozy and relaxed area with its own cocktail lounge and lovely décor. The Living Room, which was festively decorated by the hosting family is both comfortable and elegant. When seasonally appropriate event planners can request the stately fireplace to be lit. Guests immediately seemed to feel at home as they came into the room. The staff was very efficient in preparing the buffet brunch, including both breakfast and lunch choices, as well as accommodating guests' food needs. Our meals were delicious. We especially enjoyed the variety of choices including salads, vegetables, breakfast rolls, quiche, fresh haddock, and chicken piccata. More than a few of us returned to the buffet for seconds. As we gathered together the Neighborhood Club's welcoming setting and attentive staff made this a very memorable and happy time for family and friends to celebrate.

They also offer a cash bar option, which is nice. It was super helpful to have access to the kitchen to store, heat up and prep food during the event. I don't think they allow access to the stove top burners, but the ovens and everything else if fair game. There was also free parking at the hall, and if there was no more space in the lot, there was street parking. The customer service was also great. I was able to call and ask all the questions I needed to before booking. I spoke with Frank to reserve the space. He was courteous, effiicient and helpful. All the other guys there helped to show us around the space and answer any additional questions that we had, and made sure we had a primary facility contact the day of the event. There are only a couple of things that I wish were different: I wish we had more time to set up ahead of the party. We were only allotted an hour. You could request an additional hour of setup for a fee. I can't remember how much. I felt as though we had to scramble during that hour to get everything set up, but once we did, everything looked great. It would also have been great if the sound system was up to date. I wanted to play music from the Spotify playlist that I put together for the day, but the equipment was outdated, and even if there was a way to set it up, none of us (staff included) knew how. Other than that, everything was great, and I will definitely be back for future functions.

As someone who has lived in the neighborhood most of…read moremy life, Venezia has always felt like more than just a restaurant--it's a place run by genuinely caring people who make you feel like family. The Bruno family, managers, and staff have always been welcoming, often taking a few moments to stop by and chat. Their hospitality is one of the many reasons we frequent there. Last Wednesday, following my father's funeral, our family held a gathering at Venezia in the back room overlooking the water and Boston. The view was wonderful, the food was excellent, and the staff worked incredibly hard to ensure that every guest was taken care of throughout the afternoon. A special thank you to Laurie, who helped coordinate everything from the beginning. She went above and beyond, frequently checking in to make sure everything was running smoothly and that our family had everything we needed during a very difficult time. On behalf of my entire family, I want to sincerely thank Laurie, the staff, and the Bruno family for their kindness, professionalism, and support. Your efforts meant more to us than you know, and you helped make a difficult day a little easier. We are truly grateful.

Dear Venezia I am…read morewriting to share my feedback regarding a recent dining experience at Venezia. Based on several high recommendations, I visited your restaurant with expectations of a premium experience, but unfortunately, the service and food quality fell significantly short. While the waterfront view was beautiful, the service we received was disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, the hostess left us waiting mid-seating to prioritize an interruption. Once seated, our waiter was excessively loud when presenting the specials. Later in the meal, we had to ask for parmesan cheese, which was served in a small bowl rather than freshly grated at the table, despite seeing the grater used for other guests. Furthermore, we noticed the manager engaging warmly with neighboring tables while completely ignoring ours, which left us feeling unwelcome. The quality of the food was also unacceptable for the price: - Charcuterie Board ($25): The ingredients did not taste fresh and the presentation was disorganized. - Chicken Parmigiana: The presentation was unappealing, the pasta was overwhelmed by marinara sauce, and the entire dish was tasteless. - Pan-Seared Scallops: The scallops were rubbery and overcooked. My sister could only eat one and left the rest of the plate untouched. Despite our waiter noticing this, no attempt was made to address the issue or involve a manager. - Chocolate Temptation: The dessert was also highly disappointing. We chose not to complain further during our visit as we did not want it to seem as though we were merely looking for a complimentary meal. However, given the reputation of your restaurant, I wanted to bring these serious lapses in food quality and hospitality to your attention. Venezia is check off my list!
