We went to the Museum and did the fabulous dinner at 4:30 pm Sat. June 27,2026. We were there on time to enter the museum. We had an hour to walk through the museum. It was so crowded we could not in any way see the museum before our time for dinner. Our only problem was the museum allowed....I do not know how many to do a museum only tour at the same time as the at least 150 people to enter for the dinner experience. It was a huge cluster of people. My opinion is the dinner tour should be held alone without the tour only group. That aside, the dinner was delicious and the crew actors portraying the Titanic crew were amazing. We had an amazing view of what happened that evening and the actors portraying the sinking truly gave us an evening of the heart of all those on board. The beauty. The tragedy. The sadness of the loss. Most importantly is this Museum keeps all the people on board of this vessel alive forever for each and every one of us. It was an unforgettable evening. I hope the museum will rethink how the do the dinner and tour. They need to make this part private for the dinner passengers. It was too crowded. read more

There was nobody in line when I arrived, so I asked if I could skip walking through the multiple rows of chained queue lines. The employee told me no because I needed to stop for a picture. I told her I didn't want a picture and just wanted to get through the entrance, but she still insisted I walk the entire queue. I found that pretty frustrating. As you make your way through, there are historical artifacts and information displays, which were interesting. The bigger issue came when I needed to use the elevator. I told an employee that I couldn't do stairs, and his first response was to tell me to take them anyway. After explaining again that I needed the elevator, I stood there for several minutes before he finally moved the rope and let me on. He then told me the elevator only went to the second floor, which left me wondering what was on the third floor. For $40 per person, I honestly felt this attraction was overpriced. One of the more memorable exhibits on the second floor was a display where you could put your hand in 28-degree water to experience how cold the water felt for those who ended up in it. Other than that, I didn't feel like the experience justified the cost. read more

The Titanic exhibit is incredibly well done and thoughtfully put together. When you enter, you're given a card with the name of a real person who was on the Titanic, and as you move through the exhibit you discover whether they survived or not--which really makes the experience feel personal. The exhibit is full of fascinating artifacts, all clearly labeled and easy to follow. There are several interactive elements throughout, including a station where you can touch the water to feel just how cold it was that night. They also have a section with memorabilia from the movie, plus an impressive LEGO model of the Titanic that comes with a really cool backstory about the person who built it. My sister and I had reservations for this museum, but it was closed due to a snowstorm. Luckily, it reopened the next day and we were able to attend. Titanic Museum Attraction is a ship shaped museum featuring over 400 artifacts from the real ship and offers a very interactive experience. You can walk the Grand Staircase and even touch 28 degree water, which was freezing cold. Upon entering visitors receive a boarding pass from a real passenger and follow their personal story while exploring galleries filled with authentic items and learning about the ship's construction, sinking, and the lives of those aboard. It took us about two hours to explore everything. A beautiful museum suitable for all ages and definitely worth visiting. read more

If you like the history and story behind the Titanic, this place is worth a visit. It's different than a lot of the other museums. Maybe it's the documentary style of telling the story and the access to artifacts, but make this feel different. Crazy that you can only visit the Titanic Museum in four places: Tennessee, Florida, Louisiana and Missouri. We stumbled upon this museum by suprise while passing through Pigeon Forge. Got $2 off per adult ticket and was able to slip into an earlier time by going to the counter and seeing if there were still available slots open for earlier times. You can buy the tickets in person or online, but just fair warning, the tickets go fast while checking out online. We roughly spent 30 minutes going through the whole thing. I don't think you need to spend anymore time than that unless you want to take photos. PS, staff can't take your photos for you at the grand staircase. Be prepared to take selfies or ask someone else to take them. read more

Finally made it aboard the Titanic toting a group of little history buffs! There were so many well preserved artifacts within the museum and much to read along your journey. Every passenger is given a boarding pass with the name of an actual passenger of that fateful journey...upon conclusion of the journey through, you will see whether your passenger survived or not. It's a lot to see and read...that being said you can get bogged down in here with people huddled around certain items, seemingly unable or unwilling to move along, which will create quite the traffic jam, so definitely plan 2 hours here. My family and I visited this museum about three years ago. Still one of my all-time favorite places to go. When you walk in they give you little passports and at the end of your visit, you can find out if the person on your card survives. All of the Furnishings and items on display are just amazing! Overall it's a good attraction but it's definitely more for the adults who have the desire and patience to read everything than the little kids. It's not incredibly interactive so my 11 year old niece enjoyed it "enough" but didn't have as much fun as some of the interactive museums we went to. This museum felt very distasteful and disrespectful to those who perished. Just a gimmicky money grab. It was nice to see some of the artifacts and read about passengers but this place does it in such a money grab and distasteful way. Encouraging poor comments from patrons by checking to see if their boarding pass ( areal passanger) lived or died on the memorial wall. Kids jumping and playing on the degreed slope deck exhibits. I'm not one to nit pick poor taste but if I was to recognize it selling "ice berg slime" for kids to play with in the gift shop just seems wild. I wonder if this company will open up a 9/11 museum next and sell jet fuel slime barrels in the gift shop. $100 for 2 people just to feel as if I contributed to a desecrating memorial is wild. Very personal experience featuring actual people with real stories of their voyage, real letters, real things found, you can feel the water and how cold it was, try to steer the ship away from the iceberg (they only had 37sec warning), it had a part where you can see how tilted the ship was while it sank. This place had the potential to be amazing, but it fell short for us. We were really excited to take the kids for an educational adventure during our TN vacation and purchased tickets online. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was a lot of confusion--no clear signs or instructions on where to buy tickets, and many people were panicking. Turns out, you have to go into the ice cream shop to purchase them. The boarding pass idea is fun--you get assigned the identity of an actual Titanic passenger and can follow their story as you go. It's a great concept to keep kids engaged. However, my middle child has dyslexia and struggles with reading quickly, which made things difficult. The museum was overcrowded, loud, and overwhelming, with no staff around to help. We noticed numbered signs that seemed to be for an audio device, but there was no visible information about it when we booked or entered--if we had known, we would have requested one for our child. Inside, people blocked exhibits, lingered without moving, and stood right in front of displays. It made it hard to actually learn or enjoy the history--we just wanted to get out. The grand staircase from the Titanic movie is available for photos, and there's a live performer upstairs. At the end, they offer family photos for $45, which we did purchase as a keepsake. Overall, the museum was shorter than expected, pricey for what you get, and far too crowded to truly enjoy. For a place that books by time slots and charges premium prices, we expected a more organized, less chaotic experience. Reducing the number of visitors per time slot would make a world of difference. read more

We just went to the Titanic Museum two days ago and was surprised to see the great reviews based on our experience. We are military so we waited to purchase tickets until we arrived so we could get our discount. There's a small sign in the ice cream shop window telling you to purchase tickets inside. We missed that and an employee at the museum had to direct us to the sundae shop. Adult tickets were $39.99/adult and kids were $14.99. I believe military discount took $5 off each ticket. As we entered the line, each of us was assigned a passenger. I was given an adult woman, my mother was given a child, and my 4 kids were each assigned a child. The artifacts and information were very neat to check out. It was interesting to see the special dishes for the Jewish passengers and I learned that there were dogs on board. Having read and watched a lot on Titanic, I didn't feel like I learned anything new, aside from the dogs being on board. There were indicators that an audio tour was once available, but we didn't see this being offered at all. I'm sure that would've made the experience better. Overall, we felt like it was very overpriced for the value of the experience. My older two kids enjoyed the experience and putting their hands in the water. A must see in Pigeon Forge. I personally loved the boarding passes you receive upon entering the titanic. These resemble the passengers who were on the ship and you had to follow your path to find out what happened on your journey on the Titanic. A lot of information and historical content. A lot of somber reflection. There is an interactive area where a part of the ship is "sinking" at different angles, to give an idea of how steep the incline of trying to hold onto the ship was. After a drive over from the coast (CHS to Cherokee), the next morning we went up and over the mountain from Cherokee to Pigeon Forge to continue our JD birthday weekend fun. We had purchased tickets in advance to check out the Titanic Museum. I didn't do any of the leg work, so I was going in with no expectations or idea of what I would experience. First off, when you drive up, I was amazed by the massive ship built in the parking lot. The museum is housed inside of that structure. All of this extra detail allows for you to get some great pictures out front. Once it's your time to enter the person who booked the tickets gets a text. The email you received when you booked has your ticket QR codes that you show upon entering. You then receive a card with a name of a Titanic passenger. At the entrance you'll also receive a device that allows for you to listen to titanic stories at each numbered station through the museum. It's filled with replicas, pictures, actual artifacts, interactive stations and more. My first favorite part was the wall paper original pictures of the ship being built and the workers going to build it. My second favorite part were all of the pictures taken on Titanic. There wasn't that many, but that all makes sense considering the number of people who would have had cameras in 1912. The one known picture of the captain on the titanic was awesome. As for my passenger, I was a 3rd class, 28yo female passenger. Before the end of the tour you'll find out at the Memorial Wall if you lived or perished. I won't give my passengers name, but let's just say, I didn't make it! If you like stories of the titanic or history in general, this museum is a great option. read more

We initially got tickets for the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge because the weather forecast for this day was supposed to be rainy for our trip there. When the day actually arrived, the weather was actually quite warm. I have to give them credit as we were not able to make our initially arrival time; we gave them a call and was able to reschedule us for a later show time. Getting into the parking lot was a bit of a headache with the insane traffic on the parkway. Once we got in the parking lot though, finding a spot was a breeze. You just line up, they take some pictures for souvenirs and hand you character cards. These are actual profiles of people that were on the Titanic so it does make you feel like you played a role in the story. My lovely partner for this trip got Charlotte Wardle Cardeza, one of the richest ladies on the Titanic. I got a 3rd class 11 year old Syrian boy by the name of Husayn Mahmūd Husayn Ibrāh īm: he didn't survive. In any case, the first floor of the exhibit is a no photography floor and covered a lot of the historic facts and timelines of the trip. There are some actual pieces that were brought up from the Titanic including flatware and menus. You start to be able to take pictures once you go up the grand staircase. From there you start off with the 1st class exhibit where you can find the fancy clothes and higher end quarters. The 3rd class quarters was pretty cramped and was definitely another world from the 1st class. There is a display from the captain's bridge, the atmosphere on the deck when the iceberg was spotted including the freezing temperature. You then run into the wall of passengers where a staff member can fins the name of the card you got at the beginning and give you a little history of your character. You get a full room display of the movie towards the end that can be a bit nostalgic. Once you are done, you exit into a gift shop where you can get a bunch of souvenirs. Overall, the museum was a bit interesting. Taking pictures was a bit difficult with the number of people walking around, but it is possible to get a few quick shots. If you are interested in the Titanic, you may just enjoy this museum. There's also an ice cream shop next door if you are in the mood for a treat. read more

The Titanic Museum was a bucket list item for me, one that I thought I wouldn't have been able to get to. However, with the way my travel ended up recently, I found myself very near here and made it a priority to stop. I did the sensible thing and bought my ticket online beforehand, selecting a time I wanted to come here. If you buy your ticket beforehand you will get text messages leading up to your ticketed time. If you show up here, they will shoot you a text saying that you need to stay in your vehicle. But you can just ignore that, I think that might be for when they are super busy, or a pandemic rule. You can get out and explore the grounds, take some pictures, and wait outside until you are called. Once beckoned, you can approach what is basically an outside host stand. They give you a quick rundown of how things will go and show you to the door. Inside is where they will scan your QR code for entrance. You will get a headset as this is audio tour that will allow you to go about it any way you please. You will also be given a card of a passenger or crew member of the Titanic, at the end of the museum tour you can see if you survived or not. However, you might be able to figure that out on your way through the museum. I knew my fate as soon as I got my card, I was a crew member, so take your guess. The first floor you are not allowed to take any pictures, it is more for learning and interacting with the staff. The staff on this floor try to reiterate what you have heard twice, but they go a bit deeper. They ask you if you know about the Titanic, and whether your a fan or not. I went through this portion of it and gave the staff a bit of a chuckle. I was asked if I was here with anyone and I said no. They said it would be better enjoyed if I was with someone, I just had to remind him that it is much better to do this alone as I had no one to ruin it for me. Once you ascend to the second floor, take all the pictures you want. I really enjoyed this museum as it combined the right amount of interaction with the amount of materials on exhibit. Notable things that are interactive is the fact that you can attempt to stand on the deck as it started to sink, each one with a steeper incline. When you are on the bridge of the ship you can dip your hand in the water at which was the temperature when the ship sank, I'm not even sure how people survived in that. There are little things throughout that you can interact with, especially aimed at kids. What was really neat was that the day I visited they had just opened a new exhibit. One that focused on the movie 'Titanic'. Can you believe that it has been over twenty-five years since the movie came out? Allowing enough time to pass so that it can now be included in museums. What they did here was focused on the movie and everything about the movie. You will be able to see the piece of debris that Rose let Jack slip away and wouldn't share. You will also be able to see all eleven Oscars the movie won. You will also see a Lego replica of the ship. There is definitely plenty to see here, and I am sure I am letting something out, but that just means you need to make your way here to see it all. I do have to say, not everything here was perfect. But it really doesn't deserve any stars taken away. What felt corny here was the way that some of the description were written for the pieces on exhibit. It almost came off as corny, bragging, or snobbish. Each item that they had, some from the Titanic itself, that were on display would have a description of it, what important person might have used/owned it, and then a tacky "Valued at $..." I'm not here to care about the monetary worth of the items, this museum should just focus on the tragedy and people that endured. It kind of gave of Jurassic Park vibes...'spared no expense,' we get it, it cost money to secure/retrieve the items, but no need to put that on display as well. read more

One of the largest permanent collections of Titanic artifacts and memorabilia can be found in Pigeon Forge! Titanic Pigeon Forge is honestly a must-see when you're in the area. But make sure to plan ahead and make a reservation. I believe they don't allow walk-ins in order to control the crowds, so you'll need to book a time online. When you enter the exhibit, you're handed a card with information about one of the people who were on the Titanic. By the time you make your way through the informative, beautiful and sobering museum, you find out if the person on your card made it off of the Titanic ... or if they didn't. The Titanic Museum is for all ages. There are several places where kids can touch and interact with the exhibits, like lifting a heavy shovel and pretend to shovel coal, touch icy water, and steer a pretend boat and try not to let it crash into an iceberg. (It's harder than you might think!) There are also little factoids and info everywhere just for kids. All guests get personal devices that you can put up to your ear and hear information about what you're looking at. Kids get their own with a fun narrator giving them info in a way that they will understand. Both of my children were engaged throughout our visit to the Titanic Museum. The museum takes a bummer subject and presents it in a way that's interesting (and not-too-sad) for all ages. read more

First Impressions & Setting From the moment you pull up, the building--modeled in half-scale to the original Titanic--is striking. You're handed a passenger boarding pass as soon as you arrive, giving you the name and story of a real person who was on the Titanic. That little detail alone sets the tone: you're not just seeing a museum, you're stepping into someone else's journey. There are hundreds of authentic pieces (about 400) on display--personal belongings from actual passengers, photos, uniforms, letters, and other recovered or survivor-donated items. The galleries are well organized: you move from First Class opulence through Third Class modesty, to the bridge, boiler rooms, and all the tragedies that followed. One of the crown jewels is the replica of the Grand Staircase built from the original blueprints. Hand-carved woodwork, a bronze cherub, milk glass rotunda, 24k gold leafing, Austrian crystal chandelier--the works. It's gorgeous, almost overwhelming in how meticulously done it is. Also, interactive touches: you can touch an iceberg, feel ice-cold water (28 degrees F), experience a flooded stairwell simulator, etc. This is where they really shine. The staff are not only friendly and patient, but deeply knowledgeable. They answer questions, tell stories you wouldn't find easily in books or documentaries, and many are in period attire--making the whole thing feel more genuine. People frequently mention that the costumed crew "speak as if they are really crew members aboard the doomed luxury liner." You leave more than educated--you leave moved. The blend of gorgeous artifacts, individual human stories (via your boarding pass, and discovering whether your passenger survived or not), and immersive sets made the ship's story hit home hard. It's not just "look at some old things"--it's stepping into the hopes, fears, class divides, bravery, tragedy. Things to Know / Minor Drawbacks It can get crowded. On busy days it's busy. Going early or later helps. Audio tours/devices sometimes have issues (one review said their listening device didn't work and had to share). If you expect something more hands-on everywhere, you might find some portions more "look & read" than "touch & feel." But that's also part of preserving the artifacts. Overall Verdict If you're into history, immersive experiences, or want something meaningful and visually stunning, this is one of the best museum-attractions out there. I'd go so far as to say: it exceeded expectations. Every artifact feels chosen for impact, every exhibit built with care, and the staff make you believe (and feel) you're on that ship in some way. Last month was our second time here (first time was 5 years ago). It does get busy so make sure you reserve your time slot first before coming. So much titanic information and they updated different displays so it's not the same things every time. I think one of the coolest things they do is giving you a passenger card with the name of your passenger, information about them, and then at the end of the tour you find out if they made it. They have a replica of the grand staircase, actual remnants from the shipwreck, water you can feel that replicates the temperature of the water from that night, and mock rooms to replicate those that were on the ship. I stumbled across this museum and I am so glad I did. The pictures the information the exhibits are all so informative but sobering at the same time. They have a full size reproduction of the grand staircase, the clock , railing and statue at the bottom of the stairs. Great example of the difference in each class of travel for the crossing and so much history. They actually have some items brought up from the Titanic. There is an area wheee you can test how cold the water was they passengers had to endure, it had to be terrible for everyone that ended ip in the water. A must see while your in town read more

What an incredible exhibit and museum. I took my daughter here for her birthday and she had a blast. I loved how you can stick your hand in to feel how cold the water would have been. While we were there we also got to see the door that rose laid on from the Titanic movie. It was fun and there is a great gift shop that the end. It's a great girls trip. read more
