This location is one of the few with a two-story mezzanine, CrossFit room, wall-ball room, personal trainers and saunas. As most gyms are, this location is ideal during business hours and gets progressively busier until between 5-8pm. However, I never felt I was waiting more than 3 minutes for a piece of equipment. Though this facility is incredibly affordable (which attracts a large group of people), the team keeps their cleanliness and machine maintenance up to par. My only complaint is that this location does not have a pool, which i find is a great bonus to many other locations. All in all -- helpful staff & healthy atmosphere.

This has been discussed with local management, and a neutral response has been received. Corporate Management has failed to response to two written submissions on their Customer Comment link. Their Customer Service provided the link to the comment form. Description of the ADA Violation The accessible parking spaces at this facility are not located on the shortest accessible route to the entrance. Multiple standard parking spaces are significantly closer to the entrance than the designated accessible spaces. This violates the ADA's explicit requirements for accessible parking location. The following ADA standards apply: Section 208.3 (Location): "Accessible parking spaces shall be located on the shortest accessible route from parking to the accessible entrance." Section 502.1 (General): "Accessible routes shall be provided from accessible parking spaces to the accessible entrance they serve." The current configuration at the Fitness Connection does not comply with these requirements. The currently designated handicap parking spaces are located at the maximum distances from the entrance. There are suitable parking spaces much closer to the entrance that could be designated as accessible parking. It is simply a matter of properly marking and designating these spaces. * Single handicap space: 145 feet from entrance * Group of four handicap spaces: 175 feet from entrance * Suitable spaces that could be designated as accessible: 45 feet from entrance This layout creates a significant barrier for individuals with mobility impairments. The increased distance makes accessing the facility difficult and unsafe. Fitness Connection should move forward to correct this issue immediately.

The young lady explained the day pass and that unfortunately there were no fitness classes offered on Saturdays. About 30 minutes later I arrived at the facility. I spoke with the young lady at the desk again and I was able to get a 3 day visitor pass. She also told me about the stretch sessions offered at the other location. I inquired about the location of the locker room and after I was shown where to go, I was left to my own accord. I thought it to be a little odd to not get at least a brief overview/tour but whatever. Luckily I am a bit familiar with most of the equipment and had my own fitness routine to complete. There is plenty of space, machines and equipment to engage in a really good workout. I was able to easily find everything that i wanted to use. They also have a separate room for the cycling classes. The facility and lady's Locker room was clean. The locker room has 2 showers and a dry sauna suitable for 1 person at a time. You can bring your own lock. Also there are TVs placed strategically through the facility. The place has a Christian theme so you'll find Biblical scriptures posted throughout and perhaps a few Christian channels on some of the TVs. There is also a smoothie counter or something but it wasn't open either time that I went in. Apparently they also offer personal training as well, however,I didn't inquire about it. Overall the experience was A-OK. Everyone was polite and helpful when asked. I was able to satisfactorily complete my training and no one tried to sell me anything. Currently, its proximity to where I stayed made it very ideal. I would consider coming here again during my next trip to Greenville.

When I went to upgrade however, I was told I couldn't upgrade and instead of paying the difference between two levels of membership ($40) they may me but a whole new membership at the new rate ($140). That's BS. Number 2, THE BATHROOMS ARE ALWAYS BROKEN. Seriously, get a plumber in there. I don't pay $140 so I can use a port-a-potty.

The facility is brand new, as they just opened 3 months ago. Everything is so nice and clean. I was greeted right when I walked through the door. I was assisted by Hayley. She did such a great job explaining everything to me, from filling out paperwork, to showing me around, and following up with me after my fitness class! I originally signed up for the 8 classes a month, but after much consideration I upgraded to the unlimited and Hayley worked with me to change my plan. Super excellent service! My coach that day was Bianca and she was awesome! Very motivating and enthusiastic! I would highly suggest taking her class. Highly recommend this location to anyone! :-)
