My contract is up in October but we canceled in person in August as we were moving to where there is no Fitness connection. The guy at the gym said they would send us a reminder that it is time to cancel. (Lie) I didn't trust that so I emailed the gym with my cancellation request and my reason to cancel. No response. (Rude) At any rate, I called today to confirm cancellation is complete. Cust service says my 30 days starts today so they'll be charging me again.. She said that there's no record we went into the gym to cancel and since they didn't answer my email cancellation, they don't have to honor it. Terrible customer service. It's a grimy old gym in the first place without enough fans so there is no good reason to join. Skip it and head over to Planet Fitness to deal with an honest business and nice gym.

The young lady explained the day pass and that unfortunately there were no fitness classes offered on Saturdays. About 30 minutes later I arrived at the facility. I spoke with the young lady at the desk again and I was able to get a 3 day visitor pass. She also told me about the stretch sessions offered at the other location. I inquired about the location of the locker room and after I was shown where to go, I was left to my own accord. I thought it to be a little odd to not get at least a brief overview/tour but whatever. Luckily I am a bit familiar with most of the equipment and had my own fitness routine to complete. There is plenty of space, machines and equipment to engage in a really good workout. I was able to easily find everything that i wanted to use. They also have a separate room for the cycling classes. The facility and lady's Locker room was clean. The locker room has 2 showers and a dry sauna suitable for 1 person at a time. You can bring your own lock. Also there are TVs placed strategically through the facility. The place has a Christian theme so you'll find Biblical scriptures posted throughout and perhaps a few Christian channels on some of the TVs. There is also a smoothie counter or something but it wasn't open either time that I went in. Apparently they also offer personal training as well, however,I didn't inquire about it. Overall the experience was A-OK. Everyone was polite and helpful when asked. I was able to satisfactorily complete my training and no one tried to sell me anything. Currently, its proximity to where I stayed made it very ideal. I would consider coming here again during my next trip to Greenville.

BUT number 1, when I first signed up I was told I could upgrade my account anytime in the first month. When I went to upgrade however, I was told I couldn't upgrade and instead of paying the difference between two levels of membership ($40) they may me but a whole new membership at the new rate ($140). That's BS. Number 2, THE BATHROOMS ARE ALWAYS BROKEN. Seriously, get a plumber in there. I don't pay $140 so I can use a port-a-potty.

The facility is brand new, as they just opened 3 months ago. Everything is so nice and clean. I was greeted right when I walked through the door. I was assisted by Hayley. She did such a great job explaining everything to me, from filling out paperwork, to showing me around, and following up with me after my fitness class! I originally signed up for the 8 classes a month, but after much consideration I upgraded to the unlimited and Hayley worked with me to change my plan. Super excellent service! My coach that day was Bianca and she was awesome! Very motivating and enthusiastic! I would highly suggest taking her class. Highly recommend this location to anyone! :-)
