Pablo found a book he had been searching for over the last few years, I got some good classics and Books of Blood from my old friend Clive Barker. The shelves were meticulously in order. What a great find... All the library's were closed due to the whopping 2 1/2 inches of snow that we got... So I stumbled upon this place... And I'm so glad that we did. He has the store so well organized, with so Much attention to detail... Although it's small, one could get lost here for hours. I was surprised to see an excellent selection of children's books... meaning, there was quite a variety of different types of books to choose from... Different genres topics etc.... Very refreshing and very well taken care of. You can tell the owner empties his heart and soul into this great Little store... as it's shown on every shelf!! I'm very excited to return...can't wait actually. On a sidenote... The owner is also an author... He gave us one of his children's books that he both wrote and illustrated...And after reading it to my daughter... She loved it. This bookstore is very clean, and organized in a way where the books really catch your eye and he has some that he got from local artists which I really liked. I can't believe I didn't know til now this amazing little store existed! Title Wave Books is a small but JAM PACKED bookstore with a huge selection. They have a lot of educational resources, in particular textbooks and homeschool guides - makes sense since it's run by two homeschooling moms. Their history selection is huge. Their clearance section is great. And they have a nice variety of foreign language books too - always a plus for me! Go and support this great local business. Great little store. I really enjoyed browsing through their selection. The have a nice children's section and little bit of everything in the adult fiction and nonfiction. Noticed they have quite a selection of homeschool curriculum (I homeschooled my children, so I noticed but didn't browse). We found some nice movies to add to our collection, quite a few series partial, but not whole. All in all a nice couple of hours spent. My daughter needed a book for school. She called the store and, miraculously, Tidal Wave Books had it in stock! We went in and fell in love! The prices are more than reasonable, and there's a HUGE collection of $0.25 titles! We are incredibly grateful to have stumbled across this gem! An independent book store, the store is stuffed with books, and they provide cozy nooks where you can sit as you browse through their collection. They also accept used books for credit toward other books, and the have grab bags across the tops of their stacks labeled with the genera for a buck! Not sure how many books are in each bag, but they are definitely for the adventure reader. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and they really take time to support the local author community with small events and such. read more

This is a small cozy little shop packed with lots of interesting finds. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are good place to sell your used books, of course they are selective, but they have to be. There is a sizable selection of used books in pretty decent condition. Co-owner was pleasant and responsive. That said, my experience was not enjoyable. If you're looking to sell books you will be disappointed. The owners clearly state that their mark-up is ten-fold (1000%) which means the seller should expect 2-5% of list price for a book in like-new condition. As in my case, if you're looking to trade books, you will not fare much better. TitleWave's trade policy is simple: on average, for every 12 books you provide, you will receive three in return with the stipulation that you must purchase a fourth book. Of course, one could sell some books to generate cash to purchase this fourth book resulting in an effective trade-in of 11 books in exchange for two. Regardless, this recipe was not the source of my disappointment. I had every intention of trading books and beginning a long-term interaction. Unfortunately, I couldn't readily locate any interesting titles. I was not being finicky and I looked at chapter books, pre-teen, SciFi, and travel/outdoors. Based upon my experiences elsewhere, I found the selection limited. (In other genres, the customer may be more satisfied.) My criticism is constructive, not punitive. This store and I were just not a good fit. read more

I went in here for the first time yesterday. What a delightful place so close to where I live. I found 3 books (without really looking too hard) and left very happy. It is small, but not too small where you would feel claustrophobic, but really is bigger than it looks. The friendly and helpful staff make it a winner in my "book". I go to a meet up group at Title Wave Books. They have an area that fits about 15 comfortably and 20 if you don't mind being a tad friendly that is perfect for book clubs or other small groups to meet. The staff is super friendly.
