What could improve you ask new people you can't let people con or slide paper in there with…read moresomething on there you don't have and then you call her and tell her you don't have that and she tells you it's OK no it's not OK redo the papers. I've already turned it in and now I can't do it but it's OK. I can't redo just make the payments on time and it should be fine. a con is what they are. She is a crook. And she don't know how it got in there. Yes she does. And she's been reported and has done it before.

This had to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life!…read more I contacted Mariner Finance seeking a short term small personal loan. I explained upfront to the "lady" that I had been through several misfortunes one right after the other. The most recent being an automobile accident that had totaled my car and caused me to be airlifted to Vanderbilt. I explained to her that I had gone without a central system, all winter, due to one local company, ripping me off for over $400 of repairs that didn't fix anything. So my utility bills had been as high as 600+ dollars. I had to buy a new set of tires because I had a blowout one week before my accident, and I was paying an attorney because my so-called husband had walked out over six months ago and filed for a divorce, but wouldn't sign papers. On a positive note, I did on my own home and I did not have hardly any debt. Even though I was retired, I had secured a temporary job to earn some extra income. I thought this would give her all the background information she needed to understand why I had needed money to just get through until I could cash out an annuity that I had saved for retirement. I kept reiterating to her that I only needed a couple of thousand dollars to make it until the deposit came in. I just literally had no money, and no transportation. She turned right around and asked me could I come in and go over paperwork. I said, well, I'm not sure how I will get there. I will try to find someone that could bring me. I don't have any family in this town. There's no one here except, the man I was married to. Now, I'm just a homeowner stuck here . She became all jovial and said, I guess you could sell your house. I told her that I already hadn't mentioned when the divorce was final that was exactly what I was going to do. Then I followed by saying if that ever happens, she started in with comments like I'm not a counselor! I told her I did not think she was, nor did I want her to be! I also expressed to her that I thought that was a very rude remark on her part. I simply meant if I sold my house, I would not be needing their services! All throughout this process this woman drilled me like I was asking for the Hope diamond! I have bought and sold homes on my individual Credit. Not once did she acknowledge that value. Instead, she treated me like I was some type of worthless risk! I will not be doing business with this company. I would do without food before I would deal with this type of treatment. I simply was trying to keep from paying more overdraft fees at the bank until my retirement check that I worked 33 years for is deposited! Let me add one star is because the phone was answered. Preferably, I would give zero stars. I have worked with the public my entire career. I am an educated person holding more than one college degree. This woman needs to be reminded that what goes around comes around . Her attitude had nothing to do with following protocol.
