There are other seafood restaurants close by, but this is the best one. The owner, Santo, is a great individual and very pleasant to be around. Our server Ivan, was friendly, personable and very attentive. We went up to the counter and chose the seafood we wanted to have grilled and then sat down at a great table with a fabulous view of the ocean (that's why it is called Vista Mar). In the meantime, we ordered really cold beers, salad platters, an assortment of mojos (sauces) and papas arrugadas (potatoes). The grilled seafood came out and everything was beautifully presented, very well cooked and extremely delicious--what a feast!! At the end of this great dining experience, Ivan brought out our desserts-coconut ice cream in a coconut shell (our favorite). He then brought out cortados (expresso with condensed milk), compliments of the owner--nice touch! The prices were very reasonable, we were able to pay by credit card at the table and the view again was awesome. Plenty of parking, patio area and free WiFi--just ask for the password.

Definately the restaurant with the best location in the town of Los Abrigos. great for sunset…read moreviewing and closest to the small harbour. The prices seem no higher than the other restaurants around the harbour. This is a seafood restaurant and the only alternative to seafood is a steak. I did have steak. It was inedible. I did receive a replacement (that tasted good), but of course only when my dinner partner had finished. The fish of my friend tasted good. I added a photo. I was not given a steak knife and I sat on a plastic garden chair. There was a little bit of choas going on in the restaurant with the waiters shouting and running around. But it fitted this restaurant. This is a place where a little bit of choas and Spanish shouting only adds to the atmosphere. Credit cards are excepted and when we asked to add a tip to the bill, the waiter said that the restaurant policy is not to take tips. I believe there is no wifi.

But we were warmly welcomed by the waiter who took care of us until the end. The lady inside was a little bit upset because we asked some questions about the fish, sorry for having disturbed you Finally we had a mix of seafood for 2 as starter, simply cooked nothing spectacular for me. But the fish coming was so delicious OMG really fresh and tasty. We had a daurade for 2 grilled and salty mmmmh Some of the desserts were missing si we had a crème caramel and a kind of pudding with pineapple, speciality from there, both were very good. The price for all of that with a sangria and 2 softs...63eur! Really nothing compared to the quality and quantity.
