I literally have a REFERRAL from my dentist whom I am pretty sure he would know if I needed a root canal or not and they wanted to do a consult first a month away which of course isn't covered by insurance. Seems pretty greedy, $160.00 for 5 minutes of her time to only say "yes your dentist is correct. you need a root canal" they also WILL NOT make the consult the same day as the root canal. Meanwhile I have a temporary on and in severe pain.. SEVERE. I have never felt like this was such a greedy racket. I saw a dentist in seattle she said I needed to see an endo for a broken tooth, he got me in that day. no trying to squeeze extra money out of me, not making me wait in pain for over a month. This is Texarkana and I was treated like this. lol she doesnt care if you're in pain, did nothing to get me in EVEN WITH A REFERAL stating that i needed a root canal. Having had no problems with it, I went for a second opinion. After additional X-rays, the second dentist could find no cracks in any of my teeth whatsoever. Fast forward several months......the initial bridge crown done by GD, even after two follow up visits to them, never felt "right". It seems, due to probably not being properly fitted, it changed my bite causing one of my front teeth to loosen and start dying, resulting in extraction and more expensive work. I might add, the fitting was not even done by the dentist. It was done by two different assistants. Buyer be very, very cautious!
