She explained the set up of the store and asked if I needed any assistance with selections. After browsing about an hour, I found quite a few things to try on, and was escorted to a dressing room with my name on it. All of the staff were very nice and helpful, which is refreshing. I am accustomed to the larger exchanges at military installations, but I have also visited a Coast Guard Exchange or two in my life. There was the compulsory uniform section where members can replace or add to their military wardrobe. They had an extensive selection of hats that covered much of the west coast. Everything else carried a smaller selection. There was a small furniture area, a small liquor selection, some snacks, some souvenirs from all branches of the military. It was a nice visit, without all of the hustle and bustle of holiday shoppers. I don't live in the area, but I will keep this Exchange in mind during my next visit.
