However the fine print says normal exclusions apply. If the fragrances are excluded why was I given a coupon with my receipt from the frangrance cashier in the fragrance DEPT. She knew I couldn't use the coupon in her DEPT. So why not tell me that, be honest or tell me it's good in "other" dept's. A rip off to get you to come back another day, buy some more fragrances only to be told the coupon is no good in that DEPT. Belk you fooled me once you will not fool us twice. SHAME ON YOU

I had a $10.00 discount coupon from Belk for my birthday month and tried use it this morning. Well, I had to use my Belk credit/rewards card to redeem the coupon. Next, in order to get promotion discount (40% off) I have to download a coupon from Belk app onto my phone and use my credit/rewards card as well. I had in hand a $50.00 gift card that wasn't able to be redeemed towards this purchase. Too many tricks and turns. I'm done with Belk.

You can get the same looks you see in Elle, Marie Claire and Vogue without the designer price tags. Their maternity wear is especially pretty and practical. When I was pregnant all the maternity-wear stores had deep vee neck tops and capri pants, with their only "work safe" garments in ugly prints and cheap, baggy fabrics. I came to Target and found fashion-forward pieces that were career-appropriate and didn't make me look like a fat, tacky frump. Target's cosmetics department has all the brands you'll see at drugstores and Ulta at competitive prices. Same for the fragrances; you'll find your fave celebrity name brand. Appliances? Get your Kitchenaid here. The cookware is good quality and lasts. Target is one-stop shopping for all your needs. Forget the mall - head for the red!

I picked up some bath towels and mats for my new house, but didn't have as much time to look around as I would have liked because the store was closing at 8 pm! I've worked for JC Penney in two different states, shop the chain regularly across the country, and this is the first Penney's I've ever seen that closed at 8 pm on a weekday!! Every other store closed at 9 (and some in Texas stay open until midnight during the Christmas shopping season! It was quite disappointing. Still, it's nice to have one in my new city and I will certainly be back.

I had been hoping to find some linens on sale for President's Day, but found much better bargains here at Ollie's. The store may look more like a warehouse than a shop, but don't let that put you off. Those shelves are stuffed with amazing bargains. Linens, clothes, housewares, cookware, grocery items (found a gallon-sized can of cashew nuts for $14.99!!!!), books - all at incredible deals. The selection of books was impressive, and so were the hiusewares. We found flats of canning jars for $6 less than at the local hardware store. Groceries are also clearance, but was pleased to find them well away from expiration dates, which is often not the case at discounts stores like Big Lots. The bath sheets are buttery soft, thick and cost less than a regular-sized towel from a department store. The brand (Fieldcrest) was of good quality as well. We found the drapery rods that were our original quest, by Better Homes & Gardens for $8 each. By contrast, Wal-Mart stocks the same brand of rods for $36 and upwards each. Customer Service was fast and easy. The checker told me I could get a discount if I signed up for their online club, which was MUCH appreciated since we spent $495! (THANK YOU!) Espresso machines, household goods (cleaning products, appliances, cooking gadgets), food (ketchup, soup, sugar free candy), nice rugs, toys, luggage, electronics, garden hammocks, electric razors, basketballs, car jumper cables, dog beds...the list goes on and on. The store is kept in a fair condition, in terms of inventory and general floor space. The bathroom is well from my visits as well, not in a terrible state. They have a lot of great household options in the back of the store too, including a lot of great wall art. Overall this store is a great store and worth the stop if you're a fan off what they offer.
