Ollie's is a treasure house of amazing deals! We came in to find drapery rods and wound up filling 2 carts with beautiful sheets, comforters, bathroom rugs and towels! I had been hoping to find some linens on sale for President's Day, but found much better bargains here at Ollie's. The store may look more like a warehouse than a shop, but don't let that put you off. Those shelves are stuffed with amazing bargains. Linens, clothes, housewares, cookware, grocery items (found a gallon-sized can of cashew nuts for $14.99!!!!), books - all at incredible deals. The selection of books was impressive, and so were the hiusewares. We found flats of canning jars for $6 less than at the local hardware store. Groceries are also clearance, but was pleased to find them well away from expiration dates, which is often not the case at discounts stores like Big Lots. The bath sheets are buttery soft, thick and cost less than a regular-sized towel from a department store. The brand (Fieldcrest) was of good quality as well. We found the drapery rods that were our original quest, by Better Homes & Gardens for $8 each. By contrast, Wal-Mart stocks the same brand of rods for $36 and upwards each. Customer Service was fast and easy. The checker told me I could get a discount if I signed up for their online club, which was MUCH appreciated since we spent $495! (THANK YOU!) I had limited time to browse the bargain hunter's beauty that is Ollie's Outlet, but how I wish I had several hours to scour the store's shelves. This is one of the the best discount stores I have ever seen, and I've been to a lot all over the world. Ollie's is a genuine, bonafide, real OUTLET, not a dollar store type place or one with "fake" items that are manufactured to sell wholesale. No, this is the real deal, a store that's packed with buyouts, overstocks, and closeouts and prices that are (almost always) fantastic steals. Think of it as a legit version of Big Lots. What sort of stuff did I find here? Espresso machines, household goods (cleaning products, appliances, cooking gadgets), food (ketchup, soup, sugar free candy), nice rugs, toys, luggage, electronics, garden hammocks, electric razors, basketballs, car jumper cables, dog beds...the list goes on and on. If you're looking for something, you may find it here -- and you'll get it for 70% or more off the retail price! This particular location has a phenomenal selection of books. Ollie's is a great place to stock up on gifts for literally anyone on your list. I wish I had an Ollie's near me in the Southwest, I'd probably go once a week. The service was horrible and very rude the lady that checked us out was extremely rude the First Lady who was very nice and a new worker we checked out with cash register broke and was not working so we moved to another spot the lady said that stuff didn't ring up so she said we had to re ring everything this happened twice we finally leave after a bunch of bullcrap we get to the car and she rang us up twice for something we go in say something to her and she said other things didn't ring up but she didn't want to say anything in front of her other co worker so she just rang that up twice I was dumbfounded and the icing on the cake ... a roach ran across the floor read more

The horrible experience with the staff, Karen, checking us out outdoes any of the improvements that the store has done in the last couple of months. Her attitude towards ALL customers ALL the time is disgusting. I have seen where she starts arguing with other customers in front of everybody and they have requested to speak with a manager and yet still her horrible attitude continues and is still there. read more

While in the area I dropped by this Ollie's location. One of my comments on most Ollie's locations is that the aisles are so narrow that it is difficult for customers with carts to go down the same aisle in opposite directions. That's not true at this location as i found the aisles to be easy to maneuver. Store was clean and the merchandise was neatly displayed. Bought a few small items including some Christmas clearance that were 75% off the original Ollie's prices. read more

There motto is "Good stuff cheap," and it's the truth. I do a lot of gardening and landscaping work at home, and this is the place to buy essential tools, equipment chemicals and supplies. They've got a great selection of outdoor and gardening "stuff." Also, if you have a pool, they have terrific prices on pool chemicals. Our family saves a lot of money by buying chemicals here for our above-ground pool. They carry shock, algaecide, PH chemicals and such. Plus, they have pool toys and accessories as well. Also, they stock a pretty good selection of home cleaning supplies, kitchen/cooking appliances and a variety of other goods. Save some money, and go to Ollie's! read more

Because I just moved and am in the process of redoing the house, I have made several trips to Ollie's in the last few days. I've been impressed by the prices and high quality of the available products and was able to save money that I wouldn't have been able to save elsewhere. If you're looking for flooring or rugs, definitely go to Ollie's. If you need paint and aren't too picky about what kind, head to Ollie's. I was able to get five gallons of flat white paint for $30, which is a fraction of the price I would have paid elsewhere. If you like looking for random good deals, such as on kitchen stuff, etc., go to Ollie's. Love this store. The employees do seem a tad immature, but they are decent overall and don't cut into my store experience too much. read more
