I get such great deals and there is always a wide selection of products from which to choose. I love the variety and the value. They have everything from clothes, jewelry, housewares, shoes. I like the quality of the items at Kohl's, too. They carry established and proven brands which gives me comfort. I will never forget when my father passed away. I was out of town and I had to hustle to find something to wear. I went to Kohl's and found just what I needed. the process was quick, painless and I ended up with a nice outfit. One can easily create a whole wardrobe for less than $150 bucks and look presentable doing it. You probably won't be on the cutting edge of fashion, but if you're on the cutting edge of fashion you're probably not excited by 75% off sales on dress slacks. Decent customer service, as in they leave you alone and don't stalk you in the aisles, but can be easily found if needed. All the atmosphere of a sterile medical clinic, but the bright lighting and low sight lines makes it easy to avoid the annoying screaming baby in it's stroller while the mom eyes clothes she might've worn 10 years ago. You may have to dig a bit to find what you want, but the money you'll save makes putting up with the rest of the trip worth it.

Unfortunately, I did not see a live piano player on the first floor but the piano was there and they had lovely piano music throughout the store. They have numerous departments with many fine offerings in apparel, cosmetics, accessories, and more. I didn't see any home goods which I would have enjoyed as well but it's not a huge store. I'm not sure if that's offered at any other location but maybe 1 day, it'll be added. I also wish they had a larger selection of petites but at least they have that section! Let's talk about price... There are a lot of mid range (nice but not outrageous) designer brands. You can easily spend over $100 on a pair of jeans or $200 on a dress or coat. BUT, they also have sales (I saw a lot of 30% off on some brands) and they have sale racks with markdowns. By wondering around I figured out there's 2 levels of sales racks. One is a first mark down. Here you'll find the $160 jeans for $80-$125 (as an example), but there's also a second section of mark down racks in the departments (usually 2-3 racks) with a second mark down. Here I found a $120 dress for $35 as an example. I think while it's definitely a more expensive, luxury brand place, there are some more budget friendly options. Everything I bought that night was on sale. AND I found a pen mark on a dress I really wanted that was on double mark down. The incredibly nice sales lady in the department walked the dress all the way upstairs to the alterations department and they all tried to get the mark out for me. She was equally attentive to me as a customer buying a $35 dress as one that cost $200. Even when she could not get the mark out, she helped me decide on another one from the sales rack that was also $35. I really loved that and when I need that $200 dress, I'll go back to Von Maur and when I want to have fun buying a few super sale dresses, pants, etc, I'll also go back to Von Maur because they valued me no matter what my budget was that night! I wish I had gotten her name. Just in case, she was around 5'3-5'4, shoulder length blonde hair, and was wearing a cute set from the store which I want to go back and get now. lol she was working in the downstairs juniors and women's department area on the night of 11/29/25. She is great! Make sure you treat her well! All the sales associates I encountered were terrific. Another one helped me open my interest free card. We closed down the store that night but were never made to feel as if we had to rush out even though we were respectful and paid and left right after they closed. But so what? The value you can get for your money, even though you have to buy in bulk, is pretty exceptional. Costco is a staple in our house for the necessities, such as milk, eggs, yogurt, fruit, and more. We never get out of this location with a bill that is anything under $150 and that's just fine with us. Yes, we are privileged. Yes, we buy something that we did not "need" on every visit, though we have tried so many winners making these all very reasonable risks. A fave: Rao's frozen eggplant parm. Two trays for maybe $12, and that is two-plus meals for the wife & I when we make up a salad & bread to go with. The kids? Eggplant? Pffft. Sure, I could knock the parking lot, or sure, I could knock the lines at checkout. But I have come to expect that, and I don't have any real problem. My knocks are the "seasonal" or "one-time" buys that aren't marked that way, so if I get something that I like, and it's not there the next time I go, then that kind of irritates me. I'm not talking about Christmas candy; I'm talking about a cereal, or a vegetable, or even a bulk snack. If I like it and I cannot get it the next time, then it makes me wonder why I purchased things in the first place. But oh well, I enjoyed it while I had it. The membership is worth it, and so is getting a snack on the way out. Whenever I hear that the economy is bad, I just look at the parking lot in Costco and remind myself how much freedom we have in our country and how far disposable incomes might go. Yes, I am privileged and I am grateful for that, but I love buying 10 or so winter coats for kids and donating them. The cost value is there for me, but the real value is the availability of affordable goods that I can give to those in need. Without Costco, I may not be able to do that.

They do have a 30 day return policy with your receipt, so keep your receipt. Each day is a different sale too. A different department will be on sale. You can call and see what will be on sale or check their website to see what is on sale that day. The website isn't always updated though. You can find some nice things, even furniture at great prices, you just have to look over things. I recommend checking it out and looking for those bargains. Have fun shopping.

The home goods selection is small but seems to rotate in and out pretty regularly. This is a great store to find discount prices on quality name brand items and gift for those who are hard to shop for. They offer gIft cards if you just aren't sure what to purchase.

I made a large purchase online and a few of the items didn't work for my daughter. One was too small, one was see through and another was too big. I couldn't find the packing slip but surely in this day and age they can figure out how to look up an order via the order number. They could have also told me the shipping confirmation email would have worked. Instead they all refused to use critical thinking skills to try to help me make a return. Without packaging slip I should have been able to get store credit. They could have told me my confirmation shipping email would have worked as well. Instead the manager tells me in 20 days a new system update goes through and they will be able to issue refunds appropriately with today's technology. That is no hope to me because that's out of my return range from date of purchase. I combed through my house and only by the Grace of God found the packing slip. I will have to make another trip and finally, hopefully be able to make a return. I attached a picture of the return policy.
