Called them to repair my Samsung refrigerator, paid about 80 dollars for Diagnostics They said yes, they can fix it Total cost 419 I specifically told them if you can't fix it tell me ,I'll buy a new one they insisted they could fix it ,fridge worked 2 days and went down again, called them they sent another guy, fridge worked another couple days called again they come back a 3rd time fridge starts working 2 wks later broken again, I told them please just give the refund you shouldn't have to come out 4 different times to repair something, you can either fix the problem or you can't ,and obviously you can't give my refund text them no response Emailed them cause guess what ,I work hard for my money and it's not to give it away for nothing, I will be filling a claim for this $419.00. We have an issue with our laundry dryer machine. The dryer would turn on and run, but the heat won't turn on. Most of the time it doesn't turn on, but there are times where it does - slim chance. 2/14, Monday - Sean came to check out the dryer. We explained the issue to him. He turned it on the dryer, and the heat turned on (great freaking timing). Then he said it was the gas valve. He did not open up the dryer to diagnose the issue like I thought he would, but what do I know. He was here for less than 5 minutes. Says he has to order it and will be back the following Monday to install it. He charged us 419 to fix the issue with a new gas valve replacement. 2/21, Monday - Sean came to replace gas valve and left. He said everything is fine now. 2/26, Saturday - Laundry day. Dryer heat won't work. Called him and explained its still not working. He said he will come back on Monday to check it out. 2/28, Monday - Waited, no show. Wtf. Called him and he said he's still coming. 3/1-2, Tues-Weds - said he was still coming. Never showed. 3/4, Thursday - I called him and at this point was angry unleashing my frustration on how unprofessional he was and that he did not fix the issue and ended up charging us 419 for nothing but wasted time and issue. He said he will be there today. He showed up, opened up the dryer and did his diagnostic. Said it was the thermal sensor or some kind of sensor. He will have to order it and come back next week to install. Called him a week later, and he said the part is not here yet. Another week passed. 3/21, Monday - Finally got a hold of him and he said he tried calling on 3/19 to schedule a appointment to come and install. Never received a call or vm. Said he will come back on 3/24. 3/24-25, Thurs-Fri - No show, no call. I called the main number hoping to get in touch with someone that can be helpful. Spoke with Tom and he said he will be there 3/26. 3/26, Sat - Sean came back to install the sensor. During this time he was getting calls every 10 minutes from customers complaining about if he's still coming. Anyway, he installed it. And the dryer heat was still not working. He said he did not know why and has to call LG on Monday on 3/28. NEVER GOT A CALL BACK OF COURSE. So.. what's the excuse this time? I WANT A REFUND! Zero customer service. Tom was nice. But he should've know. HIRE SOMEONE BETTER.. Sean was oblivious and could care less. He doesn't know what's he doing. He's not checking what's really the issue and just order parts hoping it's a quick fix. This company or shall I say Sean, (since I don't really know Tom) is unreliable, will make you wait ALL DAY for him to say he's still coming. Does not have the courtesy or common sense to call you back to say he's late or not coming at all. DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM AND STILL 419 DOWN THE HOLE! So if I were you. I would suggest you to find another company to fix your problems. We took this matter in our own hands and googled and YouTubed to see if anyone was experiencing the same dryer issues and found 2 cases where they needed to replace the control board. Ordered it. I wish there was a worse rating to give this company ! Horrible , unprofessional, disgrace honestly , came to my house twice to fix my dryer that would not turn on , the technician Sean who showed up was totally unprofessional came about two hours late from the 3 hour window he had given my wife and I, diagnosed the issue said it was the control board and that only two locations had the part , said we have to leave atleast half of the total cost so they can order the part , against my better judgement my wife paid him in full about 350$ , the check was cashed, then Sean came back to install the part again about 2 hours late from the window of time he had given , seemed like he had no idea what he was doing while working on my dryer , like I said total unprofessional, we heard him cursing , talking erratic acting like someone who had no clue what was going on! Guess what to our surprise he couldn't fix the dryer , said the part was broken and that he needed some sort of code for it and couldn't figure it out ! This was on a Friday , he left telling us he would be back on Monday to fix the appliance , Monday came and went with no show and no call so around 8:30pm my wife calls Sean to ask what's going on ? Gives my wife some story about the new part being delivered to wrong address ?!?! Seriously this company has no clue what they are doing !! Sean tells my wife he will call her tomorrow and give her more details , let her know when he will be back to fix the part , surprise surprise Tuesday comes and goes and no show no call from Sean so now I call him and ask what's going on ?!! He then proceeds to tell me something totally different than what he stated to my wife and that he will call me tomorrow with more details , shockingly we never received a call from TJ's appliance repair nor from Sean , I then proceeded to make numerous calls to the company and Sean with no answer , my wife did the same with the same result , we left messages called the owner the store the technician nothing no response we are now going forward with our lawyer and preparing to take them to small claims court , do yourself a favor do your research hire anyone but this company they are scam artists !!! Find another repair shop. While I have nothing positive things to say about the repair technician (other than him being miss leading about how much a generic relay switch for a refrigerator costs) they will totally take advantage of you. Was charged $365 to replace a $31 dollar part that I found online, and the tech was in and out in less than 50 mins. As an active duty service member, with little free time (and needing my refrigerator back up and running), I was rushed into make a decision that has made me sick to my stomach but I didn't have the time to compare different companies. So basically their technician's work is worth $334 per hour. This was my first experience with an appliance repair man, and it will be my last. So don't trust then and find another repair shop. read more

I was given this company to use by Choice Warranty. The claim was denied, but was going to let them fix my appliance anyway. Long story short, they missed 3 appointments without calling me to tell me. Only reason I found out was I called them and they said "sorry, we need to reschedule." After 3 missed times and not feeling liked a valued customer, I gave up. Don't count on them keeping appointments. read more

Thieves. Took over a month to get to us after I ordered the part. Technician then said he would come tomorrow three days in a row. Finally on the third day he actually showed up. First, thing he did was to rip my oven door off. Not kidding. Took an hour to get the oven door reattached. Apparently, he had never worked on the oven before. His colleague, who had come the first time, must have also guessed as to what the problem is. So, they blindly ordered a part, which we paid for, but didn't know if it was the correct part OR how to install it. My oven's door would not close normally, so I called TJ 's Appliance service for assistance. The technician then came and told me that the door hinges need to be replaced. In order to proceed with the repair, I was asked to pay $300 which I did. The technician returned a few days later with the new part and replaced the old one. A few weeks later, the same problem occurred : the oven door would not fully close. So I called TJ's and after a few days they sent the same technician who recommended to replace the hinges again. He said he wold order them and return to install them. Since he left, more than 3 weeks ago, I have been calling almost every day TJ's to find out when he would return to complete the repair. The owner of the business answered my calls only once and promised to send the technician to finish the job. Since then, the technician has never shown up and my phone calls are not answered. Called them over to fix my dryer and the first guy comes in and says I need a whole new pulley system, belt and bracket. Two weeks later, another guy comes and says that the first guy didn't know what he was talking about and says that all he has to do is remount the motor on the bracket, because it probably came off due to the load being too heavy. We paid him $55! The next day, the dryer is broken again and we called. They said that they needed to order the bracket and that it would take a while cause the dryer is a Kenmore and the parts are hard to find. We called at least once a week to get the status on the part and they kept telling us that they still hadn't received the bracket. Five weeks after their last visit, they admit that the part had not been ordered. When I told them that I expected them to pay for the $10 bracket, as well as install it for free, the guy flipped on me! He then hangs up on me and ignores my phone calls. I decided to repair the dryer myself. Turns out, there was a sock in the fan blade of the motor, which explains the motor jumping out of the bracket. It upsets me that I, as a professional (Electrical Engineer), expect better service from them because they're the experts. Funny how the problem was so simple that a first-timer was able to fix it in 10 minutes! Call me, before you call these guys! Service is horrible and you can never get an answer when you call. You always have to leave a message, as if they're screening the phone calls to avoid the confrontational ones. read more
