I have had their Wurst and it is the best!! They let us use their lot for the pit stop on the Red Ribbon Ride Pedal Camp to #endHIV I have a fresh Wurst with everything on it each year when we stop there. It is a very nice store with food an drinks. Nostalgic items all over and very nice staff. The big thing you go there for is the meat!! Don't skip the fresh hot Wurst with coney sauce, pickles, sour kraut, mustard and more!! read more

Pull off I-35 and get some great sausage, brats, and meat on the way up north or down south. Vikings brats and blueberry breakfast sausages are my favs. read more

This was such a great visit to a small country store. They have a wide verity of meats for grilling as well as delicious ready to eat cooked brats and hand scooped ceder crest ice cream. Several variety of Carmel apples. Very friendly staff and delicious food. read more

We were meandering our way back to the Twin Cities from Duluth using back roads, and we saw some billboards that said "OUR WURST IS BEST"-I always appreciate a good pun. We stopped at this little gas station/convenience store (at least I'm pretty sure they sold gas...don't quote me on it!) and went inside to take a look around. First of all, they were supposed to close at eight, and as we walked in at 8:05, the cashier didn't seem to mind staying open for us one little bit. They had some great stuff, besides all their wonderful sausage (there is a great assortment of all types of brats, (i.e. Italian Brats, Wienerwurst, Polish Kielbasa, Chorizo brats, and all types of chicken brats). We bought two packages of the chicken wild rice brats. My husband doesn't eat pork, so we usually get chicken brats, but next time I come I will have to score a package of the Cajun brats, or potato sausage, or the PepperJack brats to eat by myself! They also sold many homemade items that just needed heating, such as Swedish meatballs or pre-made meatloaf. They also had some great products, as well as all kinds of 80's retro candy. They had lots of fun stuff, like Buffalo and blue cheese potato chips, and this fantastic jalepeno yellow mustard, which would have been worth the trip in and of itself. Everything they sell is pretty cheap-nothing fru-fru about this place. We also got some cheese from the nearby dairy that they sold at the store. It seems like this is a place that uses a lot of local, organic ingredients, because they always have, not because it is a trend right now. Besides, in the middle of farmland, it just makes sense, and kicks up the flavor of their food about 2000 notches. We grilled up the brats a couple days later during a fishing expedition at the lake, and they were FANTASTIC. This place was great, we're already planning our order in two weeks when we are near Duluth again. ALSO-they ship around the country, if you don't want to go North just for some sausage, you can order from the website. We're going to have to stock up on the mustard next time we are near there. I wonder how many bottles of it I need to get to get my husband through the winter! So boil up some brats in beer and onions about twenty minutes, pop them on the grill, and enjoy all that summer has to offer. read more

Great little country store definitely worth the drive off the interstate. Get all my meats there for grill-in. They have a lot of unique foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All the people that work there are top notch friendly folk. The best little store in all of Carlton County. read more
