Terrible customer service. We contacted them daily and they kept promising they were coming to do the lawn and they NEVER showed up.

We used TJ's Landscaping for the first time this summer. They did a lot of things that other landscapers wouldn't even call us back for. Our yard is challenging in that the street is narrow and the driveway is steep. They were able to schedule quickly - days instead of weeks from others who quoted us. They weedwacked and cleaned out weeds in a transient waterway. They removed 4 shrubs, trimmed all other shrubs, weeded flowerbeds and cleaned and laid fresh mulch. The price was great for the amount of work they did. The workers worked hard all day and the owner was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them! read more

This is the worst landscaping company that I have dealt with in my area. I hired them to simply install a dry well on my property and they couldn't even do that correctly. I started the dry well pipe installation next to my house foundation by connecting my gutter downspouts and then buried all the piping 2 feet into the grading and left the exposed end of the pipe for them to continue the installation straight out to my backyard. They started by hand shoveling the trench from the point where my piping was exposed out to approximately 50 feet to the rear of my property. Apparently, they got tired of digging the trench so they decided to raise all my previously installed piping (that I had installed next to my house) 2 feet higher which left all the piping fully exposed above ground. This upset me so much I had to re-do all the piping to the depth that I had it originally. Then they laid their newer piping into an improperly sloped trench and left for the day. I returned home that day to find that their piping was laid into the trench horizontally with no downward slope to convey the water out to the dry well. I looked at their piping and found that it wasn't even perforated as I requested. It was a dirty solid pipe which was probably taken from another job or their backyard. I called the owner (TJ) many times and told them to come get the improper pipe and replace it with the perforated pipe that I had originally requested. He never showed up to finish the dry well job. I completed the job myself. Then to finalize my landscaping request, this company was suppose to bring me a truckload of screened loam so I could fill a depressed void in my yard and I find out that he delivered massive chunks of hard dirt filled with lots of stone. It appeared to be fill (from a street sweeper) and not screened loam as I requested. This is the last time I will ever use this company and I will inform many of my home inspection client's that this landscaping company is a BIG JOKE. read more
