I tried dresses on at 3 other salons before my appointment at TK Bridal. They have a vast selection in stock in real woman sizes but I only tried on one dress here. It was a Cinderella moment - the perfect dress in the perfect size. I had two fittings after minor adjustments including hemming and added support for the girls (with no added fee, mind you). All of the staff and guests that saw me when I walked from the spa to the beach wedding site, including the resort's wedding coordinator, raved about how absolutely beautiful my dress was. Of all the wonderful people we met and businesses we worked with as we planned our wedding, I am most grateful for the relationship we developed with TK Bridal. It was an honor to wear a custom dress by this incredibly talented team! I had been struggling to find what seems like a fairly classic style: an A-line with a high neck, unpleated skirt, and buttons down the train. I was also concerned that if I bought a ready-made dress, I'd have to deal with significant alterations. Norma, Linda, and Conrad were so kind, personable, and welcoming. Norma listened carefully to my ideas and made a draft of the design, and Linda gave fantastic suggestions and input. My daughter scheduled a Bridal appointment with this establishment. We arrived from Florida and they were our very first appointment of the day. Three minutes into the appointment the lady immediately started making comments negatively against my daughter. My daughter is a size 16. She continued to comment negatively to my daughter and even suggested she allow her maid of honor who is with us to try on the dresses for her. I am APPALLED that a business would do this. The appointment ended abruptly when my daughter started crying. I would NEVER recommend this establishment to ANYONE! Ms. Linda is the best! I'm getting married in 2 weeks and had a dress I LOVED when I bought it from a local shop in June and received in November. When the time came to alter, we ran into several frustrating issues with how the dress was made. I was not happy with how it was fitting and Ms. Linda did everything she possibly could to ensure she made it as perfect as humanly possible and worked until I was happy. We only had a little time and she made my dress priority, even meeting me one day, working on it that night, and even meeting me again the next day when she was done. BEST. PLACE. EVER!!! I've been taking my clothes to Linda Sears for the past four years now. Now, as a bride this in the ONLY place I would take my wedding dress or let my bridesmaids go for alterations. Let's face it, sometimes designers, whoever they are just don't get it right, but when you hand your dress to Linda she turns what seems to be a nightmare to you into a complete masterpiece!!! I love everything she has done for me. Recently, I bought a VERY cheap evening gown online. I had her take parts in to make it more of a mermaid style dress (like it should have been), she altered the sleeves, added crinoline for more drama, new zipper, sweet heart neckline, and hem for less than $200. The final result was amazing and my dress was custom made. It doesn't stop there. She designs clothes!!! All of her dresses can accommodate ANY size and shape. She can make you anything you want, any color, whatever you want. I urge ALL brides, bridesmaids, pageant girls (including myself) and others to take you alteration needs to her. She does AMAZING work and in a timely manner. Also give her store a look too. How does TK Designs NOT have a review?!?!? 3 months ago i went in search of what could only be described as impossible. Save my dress. Not just any dress the dress I've been dying to wear ..... to my wedding. After trusting locals and visiting some of what the incrowd consider the best of best... i came home more disheartened then when i left. I tried one more place on buford hwy that told me we can't but Linda at TK can. I was adverse to driving to roswell at 2pm but for the sake of the dress,my santity i did.... Not only did they save my dress they custom made me my dream dress.... ever seen funny face with audrey hepburn ??!? then you know the wedding dress.... sigh. the dresses are plural are/were gorgeous and the european bustle was a hit. TK Bridal provided the best dress-shopping experience! Ms. Norma (the sales lady) called me a day before my appointment to get information about my preferences. When I arrived, she had dressed on display that catered to my vision, which I described over the phone. Before visiting TK, I never considered a custom gown because I (1) wanted to try gowns off the rack rather than getting a gown I created without seeing how it looked on me and (2) I thought a custom dress would be expensive. However, I found their custom-dress offerings to be the best process. Ms. Norma took some of my favorite aspects of different dresses and combined them into one look for me and I was still able to try the gowns to see how several details of different dressed looked together -- I was amazed at this method. I had been to other boutiques and services were limited to what was on the rack (unless I wanted to pay an arm and a leg for alterations). Needless to say, my Gown Gang (the people I brought with me), the team at TK, and myself literally put together my dream dress -- piece by piece... AND WITHIN BUDGET! I can't wait to receive it. I came here a little over a month to get my wedding dress altered and it was such an amazing experience. The lady pinned my dress to where it should be while I had the dress on and had me walk around in front of the several mirrors to make sure the hem and bustle was in the correct places. I felt like an angel! It was a quick process, which I liked, without making me feel rushed. Everyone was so sweet and genuinely happy for me and my special day. They made me feel so beautiful and raved about how they loved my dress. I felt completely confident to leave my dress there and allow her to alter it. I picked up my dress today and it fit like a glove! The length was perfect and the bustle was perfect. She showed me where the bustle was, how to find it through the material, and how to tell my bridesmaid how to bustle it. She suggested I leave the bustle in place in the bag so I could go over it all with my bridesmaid. My dress looked exactly the same on me as it did the day she pinned it in preparation. Outstanding, friendly service! I took my bridal gown here to get it altered. The price was right and they were so friendly. I almost wish I would have searched for my dress with them from the beginning! The bridal gown selection is not very large but from what I saw they had some really nice options. I really think their customer service is what makes this place. My alterations came out perfectly and they pressed my gown out and brought it to the car with very specific instructions on how to not wrinkle the dress. I feel like they took a lot of pride in their work. I initially went there to get a wedding dress altered and redesigned, which they were of course very willing to do but I decided to drop that idea and decided to design a traditional wedding dress with them. Well I'm a couple months late on writing this review, but that's only because I was waiting for my wedding pictures to come in so that I could show everyone how much of an amazing job TK Bridal did! They are absolutely the best alterations place to go to. I loved the people and the environment. Everyone is so nice and they make sure that you leave 100% satisfied. I also love that every time I went in they were playing gospel music which makes you feel at peace and that you made the right decision by going there. I purchased my dress from Winnie Couture and it was a custom dress that I fell in love with at first, that is until I received it only to realize it was made wrong! The bodice wasn't the same bodice I tried on in the store and the skirt was put on way to high and it was also 2 sizes to big. The ladies at TK Bridal also noticed the mistakes and made sure to do whatever it took to make it the dress I fell in love with at first (despite the fact that Winnie Couture didn't want to take any responsibility for their mistakes). I was freaking out because my wedding was only 27 days away at that point and I hated my dress! But I ended up getting a new bodice and the ladies at TK Bridal constructed my dress to look and fit exactly how I had always imagined it. They were so nice and understanding through all my frustration and tears. I wouldn't recommend any other company! TK Bridal is THE BEST! This place is the best!!!! Took my daughter there to get her wedding dress and rehearsal dinner dresses altered after being totally disgusted with the way we were all related at Clara's alterations after asking her to make simpler changes that would be less pricey, and to explain what she was charging what for. Linda was very kind, professional, attentive and immediately went to work pinning the dress an taking note of all the things my daughter wanted done to both dresses. Her prices were reasonable, and the dresses were promised for the first fitting in 3 weeks since we had several months before they were needed. My daughter went to try them on last week and is very pleased ! She even took off $150 since one dress will not need to be hemmed as was originally considered, and both will be ready in a couple weeks. Her nephew was also very pleasant in helping us when we came in and made the original arrangements - highly recommended for professional results and pleasant service! read more

I worked with Linda at TK Bridal and she was absolutely fantastic. I already had my gown but she altered it perfectly and helped fashion the belt I chose with hooks instead of ties. She also altered 3 other dresses I had for the festivities, one of which had to be essentially remade due to a manufacturer's error. Everything was perfect. TK Designs does beautiful work! Due to my bridesmaid dress being backordered dangerously close to the date of the wedding, I was under what I thought was a pretty tight deadline to have it altered. When I brought it in to TK Designs, everyone was super helpful and informative, and they finished my alterations with time to spare! The dress looked beautiful and fit like a glove. I paid $75 to have the dress taken in, shortened, and to add a bra loop in the back, which was a great deal considering this dress had a lot going on, and I needed it done fast. When I first walked into TK alterations, I thought that I had found a place that really cared about me as a bride and would not "rip me off" as many other bridal places do. I was told that if I purchased a wedding dress from their store, that ALTERNATIONS WOULD BE FREE. I thought that this was a wonderful proposal, as many other bridal salons really took advantage of "milking" brides for alterations, such as charging $300 just for taking up a hem of a dress after paying high $$$ for the dress already. However, little did I know that this is a "gimmick." Linda was my seamstress, and countless times I asked her to take the dress in on the sides as I was losing weight, and to give a bit more room at the top of the strapless dress, as I felt that it was too tight. In addition, she had added straps to the dress at my request, and when I tried the dress on in one of my fittings, one of the straps completely came loose. Linda assured me that this would never happen again, and told me that she had fixed the problem and "reinforced" the straps. I had also asked her to look over the whole dress as I had bought it off the rack in the store, and just wanted to be sure all was in place with the lace and crystal belt. Unfortunately, the biggest mistake I made was to put my trust in Linda and TK Alterations for my wedding dress. For example: 1. On my wedding day, one strap came completely loose again during my reception. SO MADDENING!! 2. In addition, my husband completely agreed with me that the dress should have been taken in in the middle, as it seemed a little loose on me. He also agreed that the dress was too tight at the top, and that it was pushing into my skin (I have read blogs about this and seamstresses that know what they are doing will take in the dress more in the middle, as that area is supposed to keep the dress in place, and NOT the top of the dress. I had challenged Linda on this and she disagreed with me and told me not to believe everything I read on the Internet). 3. I also had to go back to TK Alterations on the day before I had to leave for me wedding (I had a destination wedding in Italy) for Linda to sow in my bra after I insisted that she do it but she insisted that it would not be necessary as my bra would not move (that was misinformation again as it DID move and many blogs would tell you that it helps to sow in a bra if you are concerned about adequate support). 4. I also had to have my crystal belt fixed in Italy, as when I looked it over, noticed that a crystal was missing and that there was potential for all of the crystals to fall out as they are all sown in together on one thread (again, Linda did not do what I had asked her to do, which was to look over the dress and make sure that all was in place). Because I was in Italy, it was very hard to find someone to fix the issues with my dress that were neglected by Linda and TK Bridal. This is why I call their "free alterations" when purchasing a wedding dress at their store a TRUE GIMMICK...because the truth is, all that they are willing to do is take in the hem and anything so called "free" is really built in the price of the dress. I ended up paying twice as much for a wedding dress compared to the cost of similar wedding dresses at another shop. They (meaning Linda) will fight you tooth and nail about any other alterations you may request, as that means more work for them that they are not getting paid for. The bottom line is that you cannot trust that they will do alterations to the dress in your best interest...NO WAY...they will do alterations in THEIR best interest which fit their pocket best. I had an extremely negative and frustrating experience with Linda and TK Alterations, and thus, cannot in good conscience recommend them. Your wedding day is the most important day of your life. Unfortunately, many bridal shops treat it as a chance to make lots of money off of brides and this establishment is really no different. read more

Linda and team are not only the sweetest people, but they are garment miracle workers. I purchased the wedding dress of my dreams last year. Only problem was it was a sample (size 10) and I'm a street size 2. It was also a fit and flare style and i knew I wanted it to be a mermaid. The dress was all draped tulle with no way to conceal alteration errors so we brought it to Linda on the recommendation of my wedding coordinator, and boy, did she deliver! My alterations were great but I am giving two stars due to poor customer service and a rude employee. I went to TK Bridal & Alterations at the recommendation of the bridal salon where I purchased my dress (Winnie Couture). I received impeccable service a Winnie Couture and expected the same at a business that came highly recommended by them. I had 3 fittings, everything was great during the first two fittings and I was able to take my dress home after the second fitting. I was losing weight leading up to my wedding and called and spoke with Conrad to see if it would be okay to do one final fitting the weekend before my wedding. When I went in for the last fitting Conrad set up my room and I was greeted by his wife Linda who asked me what I was there for, when I explained my weight loss and concern for potential bagginess she responded with the nastiest attitude and even rolled her eyes when the alterations lady came in the room. I asked her what her opinion was of certain parts of my dress and how they fit and her response was "you look in the mirror and tell me" When I again explained to the alterations lady why I was there Linda rolled her eyes again and threw up her hands and left the room. I was so surprised by this reaction that I immediately called Winnie Couture after my appointment to let them know they shouldn't be recommending a place that doesn't understand the potential concerns of dealing with wedding dresses.
