I have been to Saul's once or twice - pricing is always elevated in comparison to surrounding cleaners. I dropped off a duvet and duvet cover - this was a $68 job. It was supposed to be ready on a Wednesday - it was not. When I went to pick it up on Thursday morning it still wasn't ready. No one explained the damages and staining that was sustained from the cleaning service - I was charged and expected to not notice... I will be visiting tomorrow for in aims to receive reimbursement and a new duvet cover. read more

Firstly, let me say that we all know that there is a Dry Cleaner on every corner. This is what makes this so disappointing. I don't even live near Saul's but I went there because I was new to town and they were across from the shoe cobbler that I really liked. So I tried them out. And secondly, I am a creature of habit so once I start going someplace, I usually just go all of the time. I even went to their location 4 different times to try to meet their alterations person as each time I showed up during business hours, she wasn't there. I have since found an alterations shop down the street on Roswell south of the 285. Phew! Interesting that the other complaints on Yelp are HIDDEN or not recommended, but very similar to my experience with their customer service. So it wasn't just me, they don't handle problems well at all because there isn't a concern for customer satisfaction. I continued to patronize this cleaner and I thought I would try out the laundry as I didn't feel like washing a few sweaters and tops and hanging them all over my place. BIG mistake! I pulled up to their drive-through and asked the lady if they do laundry. And I also said this is pure laundry so it will be cheaper right? She went to ask someone and came back and said 'Yes". I wasn't sure if she spoke English so I looked at the one gentleman who I always see upfront and I said, "This is laundry. This will be cheaper right?" He smiled and grabbed my bag of laundry and took it in the back. Suffice it to say, I had about 10 items and I went I came back to pick it up the total was 113.00. See attached photo. I was aghast and told the cashier what happened to me. She told me I could certainly pay in installments and take a little bit at a time if that made it easier??? Like... what the actual???? She said that with a straight face. I said, "I was told you did laundry and it was going to be cheaper than dry cleaning." She told me nope because they press it, and I should have gone to a place that does laundry and fold. Go figure, that they didn't tell me that when I asked that they don't do laundry and fold. They just took my bag of tops and pants that required gentle wash and my money as well. Just WOW! No offer of a discount, nothing. So I guess I will now find another dry cleaner on another corner. They don't provide pricing upfront when you get your receipts so be careful! read more

I had a trench coat, button downs, suit, dress, cashmere cardigan, and maybe some other random articles of clothing and everything came back really well done. I would definitely go back! They also do leathers and suedes but o it pick up on certain days because they have to send it out somewhere. Apparently, they are good tailors but I haven't used them for that yet. read more

I came here for basic alterations for a few items (i.e. torn seam on the side of my dress, needed a hem reinforced), which were done just fine and in a timely manner. I was going to have the items dry cleaned, as well, but the price was "too rich for my blood". The only thing I had dry cleaned here was a dress with leather trim. Anything else, I just use the $2.29 cleaners about 3 minutes away. All in all, I would have other items altered here and the occasional delicate clothing item. read more

I feel like a lot of dry cleaners and alteration places are a hit or miss at best. I'm so fortunate to have stumbled upon Sauls. I've had a few things cleaned, but I've mostly gone there for alterations. The lady there is incredibly friendly, completely fluent in English, and can handle out of the ordinary requests like costumes. I really have no complaints. Prices are fair, turn around is reasonable (though I've never needed anything rushed), and the service is on a level above all others in the industry. read more

"Even a poor tailor deserves some happiness!" -- Fiddler on the Roof (1971) It isn't often that I need someone to alter clothing for me - I can do most of it myself, or can take things to my Mom to help me out when it is out of my range. However, there are 2 things I need somewhat regularly: Cleaning of my leather coat and alteration of difficult clothing like jeans. Jeans: These are tough to shorten on your own, especially flared legs. Denim is stiff and I have broken many needles on my sewing machine. The guys at Saul's are really smart and talented in the way they alter clothes - they can quickly figure out what needs to be done and they also turn it around in short-order. I think once I put my jeans on, the seamstress made a couple of quick flicks with chalk and pinned two things and then I was changing back into my other clothes - I had the jeans back in less than a week - and I told them I wasn't in a hurry. And the cost was super reasonable. As for my leather coat - I have a coat I LOVE, and in order to take great care and have your leather last you a long time, you should get it cleaned and treated regularly. Each year (end of season), I take my coat to Saul's for them to clean. Again, reasonably priced, they pretty it up, oil it (or whatever the right treatment is) and I pick it up a week later and it goes into my closet until next fall. I have been coming to Saul's for probably 20 years and I have no intention of going anyplace else. read more

I was really disappointed after having good experiences. I took my pants in for a hem. However, once I tried the pants on they were still way too long. Not by a tad bit but by a lot. I took them back and today when I picked the pants up, I was charged $25. I paid the fee and left. I guess I just thought there would be some kind of compromise for starting over, as I said, it wasn't just a slight difference the hem wasn't even close to being right. At the minimum, we share the blame. A total of 47.50 for a hem. Wow. If you think that is acceptable, this place is for you. After today, I do not think I will go back. read more

I don't even know where to begin with this review. Honestly I'm still dumbfounded by the horrible service and treatment that I received. To start, I am a senior in high school who had just purchased her dream prom dress from Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta shooting location, Bridals by Lori. My entire experience there was perfect until after I made my purchase. I ended up purchasing a $500 Sherri Hill two piece dress that was a size too small. The bottom fit because of my small waist, however the top did not. I was told by Bridal by Lori that Suals Alterations would be able to remove the zipper and create a corset that would allow me as much room up top that I needed. They were EXTREMELY persistent with the fact that Suals could fix it. They told me that they send people there all the time and that they never have problems. After purchasing the dress I headed over to Sauls and the first thing they told me was they they could not do it. Disappointment. However, they said that they could let the top out and to come back in 30 minutes to try it on again. I came back and the top fit, however their work exposed some threading that did not match. Overall, their job was to fix the threading to a color that matched the fabric and to lay the top down so it rested nicely on my chest. I was coming from out of town so after discussing everything that needed to be done I paid for the work so that when it was finished my grandparents could pick it up with no problems. My grandparents came back a 5 days later to pick up my top and mailed it back to me. When I tried it on nothing had been done. It fit and looked exactly the same as it did when they told me to come back in 30 minutes. When I called Bridals by Lori they did their best to distance themselves with Sauls (mind you their adamance on the fact that Sauls would 100% be able to fix the dress was the reason why I purchased it). Next I called Suals. The owner was only able to offer me $20 in refund out of the $48 that I paid. When I asked why the refund was only $20 I was told that that was the amount that they charged my grandparents when they picked up the dress. WHAT? I went over everything that needed to be done and paid for all the services immediately. Why are you adding an extra $20? So overall, we gave Sauls $68 to do nothing but give me more stress and ruin my prom dress. Of course they run their business with no receipts or proper documentation so there's no way to have proof of what was done and what you paid for in order to defend yourself. Overall they ruined my prom dress experience. read more

Our family has gone to Sauls for years. They are the only tailors I would trust to alter our custom equestrian riding suits. As well, they have fitted clothing and repaired many items that were difficult to sew. On one occasion they saved a St. John knit piece by reweaving the hole that I accidentally tore in it.
