The house is quieter, warmer and cooler, with a lower electric bill, and has withstood torrential rain and wind with no leaks. Also, it looks great. Starting the project, I received 5 other estimates for window companies and other contractors, and found that they were very non-specific about what products they would install. They also told me it would take at least 4 weeks to get the windows. Who would buy something without knowing what it was and exactly what it looked like? The other companies couldn't tell me a brand or point me to an online data sheet for R values. The other companies were also, at a minimum, THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS HIGHER than M&D Construction (the highest company was 6k over). Nice. M&D was ready in 2 weeks, but willing to wait for me to get things straightened up and move things around. We have animals and I asked that the staff be mindful of that while working. They were. M&D completed the job in 2 days (including cleanup). Needless to say, but M&D has become my go-to for construction and any home improvement projects. Ruben and his team have my full confidence.

Flooring crew scuffed walls/baseboards; crew left trash (soda cans, bottles, cigarette butts, wrappers) in our yard. An electrician they sent left without speaking to us; we later paid $1,000 to a local electrician who discovered the split A/C unit they supplied was undersized, never powered/charged, and required freon/flushing. We asked for repairs and updates multiple times with no resolution. Get everything in writing and DO NOT expect to receive callbacks."

But I will say that Ricky with Lanes Contracting and his crew are superior at what they do and they stand by their work you can turn your back and go about your business and trust that when you turn back around you'll be amazed. I paid the contractor in cash for their services. And I got a phone call a couple hours later stating that I gave them $50 more than the total for the work. A lot of companies would have never called me back to return the $50 these guys did!!! Their trust worthy and they do an excellent job if I could give them 10 out of 10 stars I would.
