Biggest mistake of my life to be a model for brows for $50. The student messed it up and not much that can be fixed by the teacher but she tried and had to pay another $200. They kept saying they can't do thin or a bit higher brow arch on me, it has to be thicker and go where my brow bones are. Blamed the unevenness on my facial bone structure and that my head always tilt a bit to one side. You're putting color on skin, you can put it anyway and anywhere you want. So now my brows are uneven, one side darker and the other lighter, one side thicker than the other, has thick hair strokes, looks thick and bushy. I hate it so much, I hate looking in the mirror. I called after the student messed up and was told not to worry, the teacher will fix it. My second big mistake was to believe that, I should've went somewhere else to try to get it fix. I can't wait for this to fade. Now I'm looking to find a good place for tattoo brow removal without leaving scars. No apology was ever made or refund was offered because they don't think they did anything wrong. I wanted others to know before they do this here. I had such high hopes because the owner is a "Master Brow Artist" and goes to conferences to demonstrate her skills, and teaches others at her salon. I should've just kept my thin over plucked brows that I had to draw in myself everyday or get microblading or ombré brows instead of permanent makeup like this. Owner: Please don't call me, I'm not a confrontational person. I've already told you everything I wrote on here and expressed my discontent with the results but you got your money and kept blaming my face/brow bone structure. I permanently lost most of my eyebrows and eyelashes after a year and a half of aggressive chemo. Showed up for my Appointment and waited for a few minutes before being sat in a chair then had numbing cream put on. I didn't realize they don't care what shape you want your eyebrows they just don't talk to you and speak to each other in another language. She did my brows and every other place I've seen does a color push and lets it sit. Nope. Not here. I didn't get a say in shape or color of my brows. Then when it was all done she basically said ok bye. No after care instructions until I asked what I needed to do and if I was going to need a touch up in 6 weeks or not? She said nothing for 24 hours then I could put coconut oil on them. I scheduled my 6 weeks because they did look good at first. After my 6 weeks they are awful and I hate them! I wish I can put no stars at all. It was a terrible experience, save your money and dont go. I sent her a picture of my eyebrows weeks before my appointment and she said she can work on them, after I made it there she talked me into paying an extra 100$ Saying I will need ombre with the microbladding for it to look natural and I paid. I asked her before I leave how long will this last for and if I will need to come back and she said this should be good for 1-3 years. Four days later after it started peeling I have a terrible faded tattoo over my eyebrow lines, with NO hair strokes from microbladding AT ALL. I text her to fix it and she claims that she told me about refilling in 6 weeks and btw it is for another 75$ that she never mentioned. I would have gone for the refilling that she never mentioned it my eyebrows have some gabs but they look like no microbladding was done at all. Maryanne is simply amazing. I plucked practically all of my eyebrows out in the 90s. Hey. It was cool back then. Anyway, after 20 years I'd finally had enough and wanted my brows back. I tried EVERYTHING. Nothing worked. And then Maryanne breezed into my life and gave me back my eyebrows. She explained everything along the way, went slowly, and was very gentle. This salon is truly a one stop shop! They do absolutely everything under the sun when it comes to beauty related services. They do cuts, coloring, keratin dipped extensions, permanent make up, eyebrow waxing, permanent eyelashes, manicures, pedicures, Brazilian blowouts... You name it, Mary Ann or one of her lovely staff does it. The prices cannot be beat! To give you an idea, I wear permanent extensions. They are bonded directly to the hair, and any other salon you go to you quote $600 to put them in, and another $500 to buy the hair. Mary Ann blows that price out of the water!!! Sooo went here for microblading this past weekend. I did my research via yelp, Groupon and google. My friend and I were both nervous too, but the reviews lived up to the hype! Mary Ann is the way to go. Price is extremely inexpensive! She's experienced, kind and gets the job done in a timely manner. She's very confident too!! Upon arriving, we had to fill out paperwork and wait about 15 minutes. The salon does everything from hair, nails, toes, etc. Mary Ann asked us what we were looking for and we showed her pictures, but she works off of measurements and our face features. She took the measurements and filled in our eyebrows so we could approve them before she begins the actual microblading! The process itself does not hurt at all, honestly I'm not sure how it is even a temporary tattoo because it did not hurt one bit! My friend and I both got ours done. She did a very crappy job. The very expensive hair color that she did on me only lasted a week and now my gray hair is all back! And her rate changes every time.
