The receptionist clearly confirmed that both appointments were at 10:00 AM. However, when we arrived today, I was called in for my cleaning first. After I finished, I noticed my wife was still sitting in the waiting room. When I asked why she hadn't been called, the front desk told us that she wasn't scheduled for today at all and that her appointment was supposedly next month. We were completely confused because we showed them the appointment confirmation text message, which clearly stated June 27 at 10:00 AM. Even after seeing the confirmation, the receptionist simply said they didn't know why it happened. This is extremely unprofessional. It appears that this office changed my wife's appointment without notifying us. This isn't even the first time they've tried to change our appointment--they had previously called asking to reschedule, but we declined. Somehow, despite that, they still ended up separating our appointments without our knowledge. We planned our schedules around these appointments and booked them six months in advance, only to have one of them changed without any notice. Made a big mistake coming to Amara Dental, Dr. Jordan ruined my teeth. Be cautious coming here and getting dental work done. Regardless of how many positive reviews they may have, they do make mistakes and the mistakes that they make, people have to live with for the rest of their lives. She didn't disclose to me that she was going to shave down the adjacent teeth to my crown and lower the level of my crown. She created a situation where she shaved down my teeth and now the bottom row of my teeth do not aligned properly. I'm a grown woman I'm 43 years old and I look absolutely ridiculous. Being customer-facing makes it even 10 times more difficult to have to walk around and look the way that I do now after Dr Jordan decided to play arts and crafts with my teeth. She shaved down two perfectly good teeth that had already been reshapened previous with the other crowns that I had done years ago. The only solution that she was able to come up with is for me to pay to have crowns put on the teeth that she destroyed. So now I'm pretty much walking around with shaved down teeth and a crown that doesn't come up to the level that it should come up to. To add insult to injury like a big punch to the face they sit there and constantly send you nonstop emails and text messages if you have any balance due with them and if you don't pay it right away they keep adding money on to it until you do pay it. This business is a complete scam. I went here rather than my usual dentist because they had a "ton…read moreof availability." This should have been the first clue about their dubious practice and a lack of trust from their community. During my visit, the dentist and hygienist completely depended on AI assessment of the xray imaging rather than their own clinical assessment during my exam and made up outrageous diagnoses like periodontal disease and early cavities on a someone who regularly brushes their teeth and at least flosses a couple times a week. And then they had the audacity to quote a $1000 deep cleaning. I had my suspicions on how valid this assessment was based on how much they were depending on the AI read rather than looking at the xrays themselves or even looking at my mouth and so I made another call to my regular dentist. I was able to squeeze into an appointment with my regular dentist and without telling them the context, just mentioning that the dentist I went to didn't do the cleaning but they did do the xrays, they looked at the same xrays and importantly physically assessed my oral health and reported that my teeth and gums were completely fine aside from some regular plaque build up. No periodontal disease, no cavities, no $1000 deep cleaning. After looking at some reviews with similar stories from other patients, I can confidently say this dental practice is a disgrace to the practice of dentistry and just here to take your money rather than properly care for your oral health.
