Please everyone pray for me and share this post so no other child become a victim. My son attended TLC learning center in blue island since may of last year. My son has been scratched, bitten and hit over 7xs since he been there. My son has been bitten 3xs in one day by one specific child and no action was taken after that. I was given an action plan and instructed that they will be separated and supervised at all times well clearly i was lied too. I have watched videos of one of my child teachers literally shacking and rough houseing a child and i tld them god forbid i ever see that childs mother cuz noone should do a child like dat ( layla's mother i hope you see this). I was called today and informed that my child was scratched and wen i got there my son had 3 scratches on his face and neck and i was told i cant guarantee that your child will be supervised at all times. wTF how dare you. Ik kids will be kids but adults and teachers should be held accountable for their actions.Look at my sons pic and plz share this and DO NOT send yo child to TLC in blue island. read more

I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE. the staff is not Nice at all and they do hOrrible things to kids. 2 of my kids went here and we had problems with separate teachers. The layout is terrible it's like the kids are in jail. They keep the lights off and the curtains down to "keep the kids calm" . My 4 year old came home saying the teacher was mad that shhe got in tRouble she put her in time out and soap in her mouth. Then my 3&4 year old got hand foot and mouth while there and after being out of school for over a week my 3 year old got his shoes and socks wet who Ike outside playing in the morning. Keep in mind her is able to sPeak clearly and tell u when something is wrong. He said he told thee teachers his feet were wet and the didnt care to take his shoes off. So when my husband picked him up he complained his feet wwere wet and hurt. My husband toook his shoes off and chunks of skin were peeling off of his feet. He was just barely over hand foot and mouth. were livid and asked to speak with thhe director Kim about both incidents conveniently she was busy each time. I pulled my kids from this daycare immediately and I am so happy we did. I hope nobody else has to experience this. I can't imagine what goes on with the Kids and babies that can't speak. Please if you love your kids keep them ffar away from this horrible place! I would give this a zero if I could. read more

Between my two children, I have been in and out of a lot of daycare facilities. I do not hesitate in any way to pull my child from a daycare that I'm not comfortable with for any reason. Your child's care for 8+ hours a day is/should be the most important decision you make. TLC has never given me any cause for discomfort. My son is happy to go to "school" every day. He loves his teachers, and we consistently talk about his day. I'm pleased with how much he has learned in the two years he's been attending. I recommend TLC all the time, especially considering I've tried other daycares in the area. I love the fact that everything is on camera, if there is ever an incident that concerns your child, you're more than welcome to review exactly what happened for yourself. One time, my daughter had a classmate take something that belonged to her, they quickly brought up the camera, viewed the footage and confronted the little girl for what happened. They are extremely clean and well-organized. My son will be attending TLC until he is old enough for school. read more

My daughter has been with TLC since she was 6 weeks old. She is now four. She loves TLC ,the teachers, staff and classmates. She has learned so much and i am pleased with her development. I have never had issue with any teachers or their protocol. When my daughter had issues with other children I was always addressed and resolved. I like the fact that video review is available to also insure that if my child has issues that need to be addressed I can see this issues and handle them accordingly. She will continue to attend TLC until regular school starts. read more

Went there from 6weeks old until I was 13 years old. Loved the teachers and it really help set me up for the start of my educational career.
