Let me start off by saying wow. From start to finished I was in contact with Antony, this guy knows what's he's talking about when is comes to cars and metal. They weren't the first shop I called, but after the professionalism over the phone I knew my search to fix my wheels was over. I had some curb rash on my 911 Center lock wheels(2). Everyone I spoke to wanted to take them in and just completely paint them over. This is not the type of job you want on these wheels. They need the professional metal work and attention that Anthony and his staff were able to offer. I'm extremely happy with the results, the finished product exceeded my expectations. I'd feel comfortable recommending them to anyone and I'm sure I'll be back for more work in the future. I got referred to TLC (Anthony) by a very close friend. I spoke to Anthony about getting my front calipers clear coated on my M5 and some curb rashes on two of my wheels. I also had two outside metal coffee tables that were about 10 years old, they were peeling and rusted. He told me bring them in well take care of them. Not only is the laser machine they have the coolest thing it stripped the tables down to bare metal without ruining the metal like sandblasting and once they were painted they look better then they did new!! I am very happy with the quality of work they do and the attention to detail that they provide. I had 3 radiator covers in my apt in a pre-war bldg. years of damage and caked with bad paint overs. Went to 3 contractors (I had no idea how to repair radiator covers) who didn't call me back or want to try. 2 suggested I abandon it and refurbish from scratch. Friend recommended Anthony/TLC he came in slightly under estimates, did exactly what he said he'd do, worked with me to get a shade of pink I needed (long story) refurbished the dents and shape of the covers to look like new, removed all layers of paint and powder colored (not sure what process is called) them flawlessly. The covers look like they were bought with the color they have now. They look brand new. I highly recommend and will use him as first choice moving forward. read more

I found TLC Metal Restoration through a Google search. I checked their reviews and was very impressed by what the vast majority of people said. Even though I saw a couple that were not completely positive, I decided to give them a call and see what they had to say. Anthony was the gentleman I spoke to on the phone. He was extremely knowledgeable and took quite a bit of time to explain the Powder Coat process to me. I needed to have the dashboard panels from my 1947 Willys Truck redone. I just recently purchased a condo and I was in urgent need to powder coat 2 of my AC/heating unit covers. I wanted them to match the wall paint. I reached out to a number of businesses and all did not seem to care for new business especially in Manhattan. Then I came across TLC. Really friendly until downpayment. this guy Anthony will not move a finger until you are so past your deadline so you conform with a bad job. this company is unreliable and inconsiderate. Phenomenal service and very quick turnaround time. Anthony was able to find the exact color we needed to match some existing metal on a commercial building. We weren't able to find this color anywhere but he found it through his large industry network. They are great to work with and perform quality work.
