Due to circumstances, I needed to get a quick gel manicure for a wedding this evening. I called this place because it got good reviews. I went there nail technician took an hour to do a gel manicure and when I walked out because I didn't have my glasses on, I can see that I had nail polish on my fingers in my cuticle area, which anybody knows gel manicures are hard to get out of those areas it's the worst manicure I ever had and she cut my nails all wrong. I am a nurse and found so many violations at this salon. The owner John screams at the customers. At one point I thought him and a woman were going to get physical. She was a long term client and simply asked to have her nails done and a very loud and uncomfortable argument ensued and John told her to go somewhere else. See below for details. I called on Wednesday June 9, 2021 around 240 pm and asked if they could do a mani pedi and the owner John said to come in 20 min. I have the screen shot of the call I made for the appointment. I arrived in 18 min and waited another 30 minutes. I am 59 years old. I have never written a negative review. This was a horrible experience. 10 clients walked in, some who said they called ahead and others as walk ins and were told to wait 20 min and an hour later they were not taken. The tech Cindy could not even paint my nails without getting red polish all over my toes. She cut my nails so jagged that the nail tore and I now have an infection starting. See photo - I then noticed they did not use sterile tools, they used the same on all clients. Note right foot big toe. I asked Cindy to clean the skin w a brush. She put on the polish so thick and did not even cover the front edges. She reapplied the polish and still could not make it right. She said my nails were too short - SHE WAS the one who cut them. I just had shoulder surgery and could never cut my own toes. I had just had a pedi without any issues in Arizona 2 weeks ago. I asked her to remove all the polish and I walked out before she even did my manicure. Mind you I had already paid and the owner refused to refund me. I am not complaining because of the money. I am complaining about the abuse of the owner to customers and the staff and the unsterile conditions. It was a horrible experience. I have been having my nails done for 45 years and have never seen anything like this. I'm only warning you so you don't waste your money and your time and you do not get an infection. It's a mill there. It is more important for him to work their technicians to the bone than to provide good service. Awful experience... From barely being acknowledged when I first walked in to then being given below average service.... Ms. Diane did my fill and well this lady kept on paying attention to EVERYTHING around but my hands, this lady would stare at the entrance, check her phone,talk to the other techs and randomly space out!! My fill took over 2 hrs. When my nails aren't even that long .I asked her for charms and she whispers to me I would have to cash app/ Zelle because they were her personal charms. Hhmmm so the salon doesn't have any? The nail products in this establishment is inferior. I had a gel manicure and the next day it was chipping, I returned the next day and they fixed the one nail, however , the following day most of my nails had been chipped. I returned again and the lady said that she was busy and to leave my number and she would call me later. She never called. I returned two days later and she accused me of having the service done a week ago. Stay away from this place. Bad customer service and bad business. read more

I used to come to this salon but I do not go there any more, ungortunately they are very unreliable. John used to be my technician, but not once I had my appointment with him and he either made me wait, because he took someone in front of me, or he did not show up in time. Both time I had to wait an hour for my turn. I even told the owner on the phone , make sure i do not have to wait again as I have my infant at home, so I m on a tight schedule. They obviously did not care, this time he was late again an hour all they were able to say get a pedicutr as well.. He was still in Boca when I was in the salon according to the discussed time. Last time I told to Tamy, i would come back to see her next time, she was rude enough to say that she coukd not get me...sure you do not have an hour in the whole month..fine.. i will find another salon where they do appreciate my business! I came in during the week in the afternoon for a pedicure and there were 2 people working and what seemed to be the owner. I had to wait a little bit since the 2 people were busy with other customers, which is fine. This one customer left since they refused to use her nail polish. It was a strange interaction between them but they actually agreed with the customer that would be best for her to leave. So my turn came, I nicely explained how I wanted my toe nails shaped, cleaned etc. and the lady started my pedicure but I noticed at some point that she was not doing it the way I asked at first so I explained one more time how I wanted and she got a bit pissed at me for explaining how I wanted. I guess the owner came and tried to understand, so I explained to him. He spoke in a different language to her so she stoped talking to me and finished my pedicure. I honestly did not like any of it. I realized it was not with me only since the one customer left and the other customer in there was also complaining that the lady did not do her eyebrows like she asked for. I don't remember the name of the lady who served me today but she was extremely weird. She was very slow, lazy and lethargic. She seemed like she had no interest to do my nails. She kept whiling away time, did not shape my nails properly, she did not match the length of the nails in both the hands. Of course I'm not a professional to comment, but with the experience of having gotten my nails many times before, she did a very poor job of placing the acrylic powder on the nails - so much powder that she aggressively tried to file and drill away later. At one point, she just took a break from her already slow work and started clipping her own nails. The worst part was, while she was filing the nail, she cut the flesh next to my pinky nail and i started bleeding. She kept pouring some kind of an alcohol solution to aid it. She apologized but she kept blaming the file being new and not for her lethargic and poor service. And in the end, her painting job was horrible. She painted my left hand thrice and the last coat was so thick and half done that the surface looks bumpy uneven. She did not want paint the free edge of the nails and some even got onto my cuticles. I pointed them out but she only fixed a few of the nails and not the entire set uniformly. And when I was paying, she told me I could tip her in card or cash if I wanted to. I paid with card and before completing the transaction she asked me again what I wanted to do. I didn't want to be rude on her face that I told her I'd give cash and gave her 2$. But I'm very very unhappy with the service and I would never go back nor recommend this place. read more

I have been going here for about 6 months and have had some good experiences but recently I think I'm going to find another place. It's a hit or miss... don't even bother asking for designs of any kind. (I haven't met anyone skilled enough, they may say oh that's too hard or once you have a picture say they can do it and flop) Pedicures are decent. Some staff give some good massages others are mediocre. Once, I asked for matte nails. They put dip powder on my nails and left them without a top clear coat saying that was matte. ‍ If plain solid colors is your thing go for it. Jon & Don, are great. Tammy also, but she can have a pettiness if you tell her you want someone else, she's pushy at times.. her work doesn't let that slide. Also they've been increasing the prices and it's never consistent. When you bring it up they always have some BS, gel extra, dip extra. I can get better gel acrylic and a pedicure for $72. read more
