She also really adored my pet Guinea pig, Snickers who is very photogenic and made him a little star on her Instagram! I will say that I had some anxiety about getting pictures taken with Snickers because I'm not as thin as I would like to be, but Lauren made me very comfortable and we got lots of wonderful prints! In fact, there were so many other photos that I really enjoyed but didn't purchase that I have thought of purchasing more and perhaps making a scrapbook or photo album with the different photos! Lauren worked well with all three of my dogs. She definitely captured their individual personalities while walking around the neighborhood, in the house, and out on the rear deck. Finally contacted Lisa directly to schedule a date. Six months later. No problem. We were able to book a session within a week or two after the call. Lisa came to our home, on time, fully prepared and ready to shoot. Armed with every whistle, bell and squeaker that elicited the most wonderful expressions from our girls. Lisa spent over an hour with us taking photos in several key areas outside. Once our session was done we met with Lisa at her studio two weeks later. She's one of these rare people in Philadelphia who has so much idealism about the environment and furry creatures. She has two dogs herself, a French bulldog and this super adorable Pug that I want to sneak home with me. Her philosophy is very much connected to animal psychology, so she doesn't really think "Oh, time to walk the dog." Rather she spends time with the dogs and gives them whatever they need in the moment. She does some training although I don't know the specifics of that. She likes to give feedback to owners about what the dog is doing, kind of like a nanny would do with a child. I have learned a lot of things from her, but to be honest, she sometimes says things that are over my head. She has boarding opportunities although they need to be able to get on with her own dogs. She is ridiculously affordable and I know for a fact that she'll negotiate with people. At the very least, I suggest you call her and bring your dog over to meet her. I think that would be the best way to see if there's a fit. I almost can guarantee that your dog will love her. And you will too.

A dwarf star of excellence? A teacup elephant of professionalism? A SmartCar of happiness? Well, she is all those things and more. Lindsay was one of two photographers we hired to shoot our wedding. We had seen her work before, and were captivated by her detail work and wonderful compositions.
