A dwarf star of excellence? A teacup elephant of professionalism? A SmartCar of happiness? Well, she is all those things and more. Lindsay was one of two photographers we hired to shoot our wedding. We had seen her work before, and were captivated by her detail work and wonderful compositions. Since we were doing a very small 'pop-up' style wedding, we knew we wanted someone who would not only be able to capture the short ceremony, but also the entire day surrounding it as we traveled from the hotel to meet our family, and all left together for the reception dinner. Her images could not have been any better. The sheer joy of the day, and our love for each other was perfectly translated from 3 to 2 dimensions. Helena Raju Photography is one of the the best decisions I made for our very special occasion! *********** When I decided that I wanted to hire a professional photographer to capture the moment I proposed to my girlfriend [ now fiance ;) ], I knew that I wanted the absolute best. It's difficult to put a price on a once in a lifetime experience, and so I did my due diligence of researching, calling/vetting photographers as much as I could, and then researching some more. About a month out from the proposal, I came across Helena's website and bookmarked her immediately after seeing some of her work -- they were crisp, detailed, and filled with life. I e-mailed Helena on a Saturday and within 1 hour she responded that she was free on May 11th, 2019. We were set! The day of the shoot, Helena arrived early and worked with myself and the rest of the museum staff to get everything ready/position herself to 'blend in' with atmosphere. I'll note that there's a lot of moving pieces when you're trying to pull off an ultimate proposal (i.e., renting a museum, flying family members in, hiding the family members, working with the museum staff to put on a "fake museum tour" where instead of an art painting, your girlfriend is instead is led to you and asked if she wants to spend the rest of her life with you, etc.). Helena captured EVERY MOMENT of this experience in spectacular fashion. She then spent extra time with us after the proposal leading us around the museum and taking more pictures in various angles and locations.
