I I got gel nails done in what should have been bright yellow but it turned out almost clear - I was blamed for picking the polish which I did but it was clearly bright yellow on the color chart !! The technician seems unamused and hardly spoke she almost seemed annoyed by my presence!! She did my nails but the next day one nail had split and a couple of others the color had faded to nothing !! I went back the next day to fix the nail that was split and fix a few others - the owner said it was my fault for picking the polish and the next time pick up better color - it was super awkward and I was definitely made to feel I was 100% to blame !!! My first visit in February wasnt very pleasant. I was charged $75 and my nails were VERY crooked. I asked for coffin and got rounded. i figured that he would fix them before he painted them, but he didnt. I decided to give them another chance on March 15, but it wasnt any better. I asked for GEL because dip powder doesnt work on my nails, and she refused to give me gel, i told her that i wasnt short coffin, she also refused to do that. I ended up with long "coffin" nails that were DIPPED. When i told her what i wanted, she replied with, "you cant do coffin on short nails and i cant do this color with gel". i could have left, but i was already there and figured maybe this time would be better...my nails are already chipping and crusting. After 6 days my nails should NOT be popping off...I will not be back! read more

TM Nail Salon is the best place I've found here in Crossville for a full pedicure and manicure. I walked in and was relaxing in a massage chair in under five minutes. Betty is caring and attentive to the clients needs. She showed the menu options for their pedicures and I selected the Deluxe Pedicure. Betty informes me the time is approximately 45 minutes for that pedicure and I agree that it is worth it! In no time at all, I was relaxing under the care of a professional. The pedicure was very good and very similar to the pedicure I had in Auburn, Washington for years. Massage, cleaning and towels, hot rock massage. Betty's suggestion of a manicure was appreciated. Was not accommodating to simply paint my moms toes bc she was unable to climb up into the pedicure chair after knee surgery. Not very handicap friendly. I've had my toes painted under the manicure table 100 times. I would hate to be permanently handicapped and not ever be able to have my toes painted. Well...just got my nails done 2 days ago, and the night I got them done my nails started to chip off. I went back the next day just to be told nobody can fix my nails today, so I called today and was told even though I paid $89 for the nails I would be charged again to fix what they messed up in the first place! My daughter went with her friend to get her nails done. She never gets to do this. She went to TM nails beside Burkes. She asked for pink French tips. He tried to charge 90. So, she picked solid color. Absolutely horrible... build up under the nails, paint very messy, and tips too big for her nails. The guy was very rude and they charged her an extra fee that wasn't suppose to begin till after Jan.1. She paid 60.... What would you do????? NOT MY #ONE! I saw the owners in the parking lot having a smoke when I arrived. No biggie right? When I went inside and waited at least 15 minutes and still no one there to do a repair, I asked the gal how long it would be, she told me the owners were just taking a break and she wasn't sure how long it would be. An HOUR later they finally strolled back in. Was told by Michael, the owner, that he charges retired people $5 more, just cuz they are retired and can afford it. When asked if he could put a dab of glue on the underside of my nails to prevent them from separating he told me he doesn't do that, but would let me use his glue to do it myself. After nicking my thumbnail with his drill, he built the area up with product, leaving a large blob of product on the underside of my thumbnail. He should have used a small drill tip to smooth it, he left it! I will not recommend this salon. They over charge and do a horrible set! read more

i asked for short square french tips, she charged me for gel when i didn't even get gel. i payed $60 and it's not even what i wanted. i tried to talk to them but she was not friendly. i do not recommend this salon at all. very rude and not professional. i'm very disappointed in my nails. there's dirt and dust all in my nails. they didn't paint on the french tip, they used a white nail and went over it with acrylic. I was pretty dissatisfied with my experience here today. The service was pretty bad. The lady that did mine and my friends toenails didn't say anything at all really. She also didn't ask me or my friend if the hot towels were too hot and my friend had a spot on her foot because the towel burned her. And with me she was rough with the tools which left my toes hurting and sore after. When she finished I told her thank you two different times and got no reply. The staff was all a bit rude and the price wasn't the best I paid about $38 not including the tip and the service wasn't the best considering I felt unappreciated. I don't know if I'll be back. Horrible. I had a gel manicure and spa pedicure. The woman who did my pedicure did a decent job however the guy that did my manicure did not. Gel is supposed to last like 2 weeks. Well....2 days later my gel is lifting off the corners of my nails. I'll be lucky if it lasts thru the weekend. On top of it, it was so expensive!! One week later update, 4 of my 10 nails have completely chipped off. I should go back to complain however something tells me that the owners will not care or compensate me in anyway. Asked to remove old acrylic nails, to do so the attendant used a nail to pry them off and at times he would run the nail under my real nail which really hurt. I asked for oval nails and I got square nails. I left with crooked square nails and very sore fingers to contend with for a few days. They were not busy either, only had two customers and three operators. Will not go back nor recommend them. read more

I mean.... if your goal is to have beautiful nails done well (the technician seemed to know exactly what I wanted even without asking!) and quickly; and if you don't enjoy having to talk (never did learn the gal's name, as she said maybe 7.5 words to me), this is definitely the place for you! But! If you're wanting a friendly and a spa-like treatment (man, I wish she'd've done the whole hand/arm massage thing! That's like my favorite part!), then you should probably look elsewhere. I went in to get a pedicure and I thought everything was going ok until we got to the end of the nail painting. I looked down at my feet and saw that my heels still had some loose skin. I asked the tech to finish the job and she picked at the skin a little with her fingers and said there was nothing else she could do. I paid and left but went back to see if the manager could help me. He was with a customer and I asked to see him when he had a minute. He barely looked up and he said "talk to me now". I didn't want to embarrass the tech in front of customers, but when he said that I lifted up my pant leg to show him my heel and he said I paid for the basic and then he said "we won't do that for you". He tried to say it was a callus on my heel but it was just loose flaky skin. It's not just the bad pedicure, it's the bad customer service. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone. My daughter (7 y/o) got a pedi which was $30 and has the Polish all over her skin. The main picture for this company is her toes. $90 for services I could of gotten in Knoxville and been completely satisfied with. Decided to give them a second chance and it was a huge mistake. TERRIBLE! awful customer service & terrible product/service! It was my birthday and they knew that because I tried to schedule an appointment so that I would have a service with their undecided attention, as it should be. Instead---- I had three different people adjusting my water, taking off my old polish then shoving a tool into my cuticle so hard i continuously cringed, which would make you think she'd get the picture but wouldn't even look at me. This all took an hour (which should have taken 15.) I waited for the owner to take a smoke break with a customer until my water got cold for another 15 minutes. I was told someone would be with me soon. When someone finally did come I was told it would be 85$ all together for a mani/pedi with gel- when on the website it said $60 for both. Not only was I feeling jilted about the false advertisement, but I also had to be at work in the next hour (which they were also aware of) I walked out without having anything done and was still charged $30. Although they told me I could come back the next day to complete my pedicure, I would never give them my time of day again. Besides, if I do go back into this disgraceful business it would only be to tear them a new asshole and demand a refund. Thanks for ruining my birthday morning!!! BTW: they will tell you to walk in then wait an hour to rip off your eyebrows along with your skin. I called and asked how much a Pedicure would be. He tells me $30 for regular and $35 for deluxe. Ok I decided to choose the "deluxe". I had pedi's there before, just forgot the price..so the only difference between the regular and deluxe is that they put a hot (and I mean hot, burned my feet hot) towel that was in the microwave on the top of my feet for like 2 minutes if that. Today I had called in for two pedicures, the man I spoke with on the phone said I should be ok without an appt and to just walk in...in this case I assume they aren't busy. I walk in and they were slammed and I had just called a few miniutes before, my friend and I waiting 30 min before getting seated in our chairs ( we would of went somewhere else if we would have know this due to our time schedule but he assured us it would only be 5-10 of waiting) finally after sitting there for 30 minutes I get seated in the chair for my pedi, I sit there for an additional 45 min before anyone gave me any attention at this point I'm very frustrated and almost out of time because I had another appt to get to. By the time someone came to start my pedicure I had been waiting almost an hour and a half and at this point I asked just to get my color changed because I didn't have time for a pedi. The Owner removed my current polish and then got up while talking on his head piece and goes outside to take a puff of his cigarette and than walks back in and proceeds to finish my color change.
