Took my phone in to have it repaired and was quoted 225 plus tax after the phone was fixed and I went to pick it up it was 329. I asked to speak to a manager and the lady that came out was not apologetic about the situation. She was able to give me 50 dollars off but would not honor what I was quote. I feel like they should give written quotes so this doesn't happen to other people. The lady was very unprofessional in my opinion and would never recommend this place to anyone. I DO NOT recommend TME. I recently needed my camera lens and back glass repaired. My first trip to TME, I called ahead of time and confirmed I did not need an appointment and confirmed they had the parts I needed. I communicated I would be bringing my phone in the next day. After arriving I was told the techs were not in, due to an event they were attending, and they were not able to work on my phone that day. Several months later I finally was going to make the trip again to get my phone fixed. I again called ahead to confirm they had the parts and that they were available. I also requested a quote for the work. I was quoted $235. When I arrived they took my phone and said it would be 3 hours. I left and shopped around Peru while my phone was getting worked on. I received a call 2.5 hours later saying my phone was ready, but was not complete because another part broke during the repair. They communicated they would have the part the next day and I would have to bring the phone back. Upon pick up that day, my brand new lens had huge dust particles in it and the camera was in worse shape than when I first dropped it off. The next day I brought the phone back for the lens to get replaced again and the broken piece to be repaired. I assumed I would just wait in the waiting room for a quick swap out, but was then told it would be another 1.5 hrs for my phone to be complete. With disappointment I ran a few errands and returned to the shop 1.5 hours later to pick up my phone. At this point I was told they were just starting my repair and it would be about 30 min to complete. I decided to run and grab lunch and after returning I waited ANOTHER 2+ hours. Total of 4+ hours waiting around for them to repair their mistake from the replacement the prior day. I was livid. The communication at this company is terrible. I was continuously told "they're almost done" "they're doing one last check" and yet continued to wait another 30 min. Then another 30 min. And another 30 min. I had my newborn who needed a diaper change and needed to be fed, but I was under the impression that I was almost done over and over again. On top of all of this, I was charged $290 $55 over the original quote. The company has refused to provide any compensation for the hassle or the misquote of the work completed... even after everything. Look elsewhere for tech repairs. read more

I took my daughter's phone to TME to get a new microphone put in. They ordered the charging port and replaced it. I picked up the phone, took it home and my daughter plugged it in to charge. The screen immediately went green. When we brought it back in the next day, they said it was a separate issue and the repair would be over $400. Seems to me if they changed the charging port and then immediately as it is plugged into charge the screen turns green those issues would indeed be related. I do NOT recommend TME and I wish I could have seen the reviews before going there. read more

I have never experienced worse customer service than I have at this business. I took our iPad in to get a repair & was told I would hear back on a quote that evening or the following day-after 3 days I called & was told they were just getting ready to call me.... They were about to finish up the new headphone jack & that I could pick it up in about 30 minutes-I told them I would be unable to run in there that day but would come in 2 days later. I went in & was told they had to order a part & they it would be coming in that day-I live 30 minutes away so I had wasted a trip when they had told me 3 days prior it was done. I stayed in town for a bit & miraculously the part came in & they finished it up. When I went in to pick it up I was double charged for the repair & after letting them know they said they had canceled one of the transactions even though I could still see it on my credit card. After waiting 3 days to see if it would post, it did & I called to let them know. They said they could not see it on their end & that I would have to come back in when a manager was available next week-I told them absolutely not & that I would dispute with my credit card company. I have gone to TME for 2 different problems. The 1st was a power supply replacement on my Dell desktop. It was done in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. The 2nd was a failing fan on the same Dell desktop. They diagnosed which fan and replaced it while I waited, at the end of their day. The tech even stayed over to finish the job for me. The cost was minimal. I am very happy with their service and they are much cheaper than Connecting point for repairs. Highly recommended. read more

This place is awesome. They helped my 79 year old mom with her i pad. I was out of town and Cory even called me in Michigan and stayed open until I could return his call with some info. Update: We called the company several days ago and were told that we'd get a call back from the manager. After 4 days passed, I finally called them back and got a hold of him. He informed us that the actual repairs they do aren't covered by warranty. If we wished to get a refund, we'd have to talk to the company that made the screen. I was so frustrated by my expirience with TME and also very dissapointed by their customer service. I had my phone screen fixed by them a couple weeks ago and less then a week later the screen started to pop out. The screen cracked again a little over a week later. So when I went to get it fixed AGAIN I explained to them what had happened and that the NEW screen they had just put on already broke. They didnt really care and were very rude about it. So after leavig my phone there for the second time for more then 3 HOURS and NEVER recieved a call if it were done or not done I went back to check on it and they were closed. Worst exprience ever. Will never recomend their services. And still dont have my phone back. read more

My MacBook is 4 years old. When I bought it the battery would last 6-7 hours easy. I would use it for everything; school, work, home, etc. The battery would last incredibly long. Over the years the battery expectantly got worse and worse, so I took it to TME to get a new one. They put in a new battery and did a "cleaning" for $185. I do not use my MacBook as often as I used to (I have a surface now), but I use it at home for normal browsing and usage. Nonetheless, it didn't seem to make much of a difference in performance and battery life. So, I took it back to TME, and they questioned me as if I was making it up. They don't have the friendliest customer service. Regardless, they spent another 1.5 hours on it and told me that the battery was bad and they would order a new one. Once I got it back, still no change. I'm just disappointed that I wasted $185. It's really annoying. It is also frustrating how you seem to be inconveniencing them with an issue. read more

I brought my cellphone into this store with a cracked sceen in hopes they would be able to repair it. A new phone would have cost $200 and TME said they would only charge me $120 which seems like an alright deal. I left my phone with them while they waited for the replacement screen to ship. It took three days for the screen to finally arrive and for them to put it in. I stopped in the fourth day to pick up the newly repaired phone just to find out that the screen they replaced it with wasn't comparable. I had to wait for them to order a new screen and have it ship. A week later the new new screen was in and the put it on improperly. I had to wait for them to take the second screen back off and put it back on properly just for the same issue to occur, the screen wasn't compatible. So now I had to wait another week for a third screen to ship and for them to put it on. This one finally did work but when I got home I noticed the screen wasn't put on properly. A corner on the top right of the phone was slightly raised which I thought wasn't a big deal at first, but as time went on it got progressively worse and now half the screen will pop up on occasion and I have to press it back down. Now I have to pay someone else to reinstall the screen they installed improperly in the first place. read more

Took my phone in to get the screen replaced one weekend I was in town visiting. They told me the screen was defective and they would need to order a new one. I was told they would have the new part overnighted so they would get it in Monday morning and have it fixed and overnighted to me the same day so I would get it Tuesday or Wednesday. I received a call on Thursday and was informed that they still had my phone. The kid on the phone was very rude and acted like I was inconveniencing him. Corey was very helpful though and let me borrow a flip phone while they were working on mine. read more

Took two computers to this store because a friend of mine said they were great at fixing her phone. One was a laptop. Dropped it off for one week, said they fixed it. Took it home, wouldn't even turn on. Took it back, dropped it off and another week went by, picked it up only this time I turned it on at the store and nope, it did not work. Left it there for another three weeks picked it up, turned it on at the store and it worked. I asked for my electrical cord because the one I was using was not mine. Cashier was gone about 15 minutes and brought me back a cord, not mine, said they couldn't find it take this one it works. I work third shift and that night I plugged my computer in and it said the battery was low. Now how can that be I have it plugged in. Well guess what the cord they gave me does not work. Now when it comes to my tower. I only took it in because I thought they could clean the guts and tweak my computer. I brought it home, turned it on three separate occasions and it quit working, never had a problem with it before. Never again will I bring anything to this store again. Buy the time I got done paying them I could have purchased a new laptop. Now I have to go back and try to get my original cord back from them. read more
