My partner's poached eggs were barely done, and made a potentially ok dish a little less than desirable. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and has a good social media presence, I only hope the same level of care and attention to detail could perhaps be focused on the food and not window dressing, just an idea.

Also conveniently located right next door is the Woods Produce Store, where you can purchase your own scrumptious local delights. Now I have heard the occasional grumble that the service here is slow, and I have to admit it isn't always speedy. However I must say, I do not go to Woods for fast food, I go to enjoy a leisurely bite to eat on a weekend when I have nothing more to do than take my time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and gorgeous food. From lights bites to full meals, cream teas to a casual beer, Woods provides it all. Indoors there are three separate dining areas, the lower bar, upper bar and the restaurant, all warm, inviting and distinct.
