The course covered both adults and pediatrics which I thought was great because it's always good to know what to do if an emergency situation arises. Half of the course was online (had to finish and pass that before doing the in class portion) and then once that was completed you do the in class portion which is about 2 hours long. Phillip was a great instructor/very knowledgeable and answered all questions we had.

Taking shortcuts when doing the BLS and ACLS classes and stating how as long as he doesn't get caught like Mastertrain did then it's no big deal. He does not clean the mouth pieces and asks people to place the shield with a rubberband over the dirty piece. Not once did he wipe down a manikin. He commits fraud and has been reported to AHA. I could no longer work for a person like that and when I quit after assisting with DADS classes he refused to pay me my money. Over 3,000 is what he owes me. He claims I was never there but has pictures of me here with DADS employees. I have also reported this to Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission and Texas Workforce Commission.

He is the type of person who can not accept what another person has to say without refuting it - even when you are talking about matters that do not involve him! He has an answer for everything. The website for Trachmasters states that he is the founder of the company but he insists that he is just the manager. Is he scared of losing his contract with the nursing facilities that hire his company? A doctor and a respiratory therapist warned in advance that though he is competent, he is very difficult to work with. Since then, several nurses have stated that he is rude and that other employees of the company are nicer. If he is the owner and he answers to no one but himself, facilities should be wary of contracting with this company.
