Despite how busy they were, we were assisted by one of the employees, which according to the receipt was named Zofia, but I am not sure if this was correct, because I did not see a name tag. At any rate, they walked my wife through the differences in each section and we ended up buying four products, of which she has already tried the Pomegranate green tea and said it was great. They are a bit pricey, but did have a 10% military discount, which was a plus. I recommend you stop by, especially since most of the tea you buy in a grocery store is not really tea and may be working against what you are trying to accomplish by drinking it.

I walked in to the Spice & Tea Exchange during a stroll through downtown while the Winter Garden Music Festival was going on. I had just finished shopping at the Saturday farmer's market and couldn't resist looking at their fine selection of spices. Pro-tip: Be open to talking to the incredibly friendly and passionate staff. They helped introduce me to the fan-favorite spice mixes and then to a wall of salts that included my new favorite salt mix- truffle honey salt. It's salty and sweet and is going to be my go-to for everything. I also found some powder vinegar, which is surprisingly hard to find elsewhere. Overall, I'm a big fan and will absolutely be returning for all my quality spice needs.

(For example, a pizza smashing through the door Shining-style on poor Shelley Duvall.) The menu consists of New York style, Detroit style, and Sicilian style pizzas, among a variety of other entree offerings. There aren't any personal size pizzas, just what I'd consider medium (14") and large (18"). My partner and I couldn't agree on toppings, but thankfully AJ's lets you do half and half pizza, as long as they are the same type of pizza (i.e., New York). On my half, I ordered the Supreme New Yorker -- hot calabrese, spicy Italian sausage, classic pepperoni, extra creamy ricotta. What attracted me most to it was the sausage, ricotta, and spiciness. My partner ordered the Tropical Reeves -- pineapple, thick-cut smoked bacon, drizzled with vanilla honey. Mine had more expensive toppings, but we only had to pay 1/2 of each type of pizza we ordered, not the highest price one, so that was a welcome surprise when the bill came. It'll definitely encourage us to come back. The pizza was delicious, and the crust was pretty tasty, too. There's also red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese on the table, and you can ask for oregano as well, to enhance the already great flavor. Service was excellent, too, so I don't really have anything negative to say about our first (and certainly not last) visit to AJ's.

I love my go to pizzas, but I wanted to try something different. I was torn between the White Vesuvio and the Mount Garden Veggie. She suggested I make the pizza 1/2 and 1/2. I took her advice and asked for a drizzle of hot honey on top as well. The pizza was DELICIOUS. AJ's never fails! I also asked her to concoct a mocktail of her choice that was tasty and she made a delicious drink as well and i cannot wait to go back and ask her to make me another one! The restaurant is always clean, the service is always good and the food is even better. I will be back soon.
