    Dole whip !

I came for the original pineapple flavored Dole whip! Went to Epcot and they only had mango and tangerine, no thanks

Tamu Tamu Refreshments is a delightful little treat stop tucked into Harambe Village--it's the perfect quick stop to refresh and recharge during a busy day in Animal Kingdom. I ordered the Simba Sunset, and wow, what a treat! It's a Pineapple Dole Whip crowned with bright red syrup that bursts with hints of strawberry, watermelon, and coconut--bright, sweet, and incredibly refreshing. The portion was huge and easy to enjoy while wandering the park. The snack options here may be limited, but the quality and execution make every visit feel worthwhile. If you're exploring Animal Kingdom and craving something sweet, Tamu Tamu has all of the dole whip goods.

This quick service walk up stand is a great refreshing spot that can be hard to spot and easy to miss. They have breakfast options including the colossal Mickey cinnamon roll and a breakfast sandwich along with refreshments like dole whip and the dole whip floats. Found myself in Africa twice today to which we stopped both times! In the morning around 9:30am we got the honey pistachio croissant which was very good, however for some reason I thought it would be filled with pistachio or something. Unfortunately it was just dusted with some regular pistachios on top. Don't get me wrong, it was still very good though! Super flaky on the outside and very buttery and delicious on the inside. After Kilimanjaro safari at around 1:30, we got a little early afternoon pick me up and got the dole whip to share amongst the three of us. I really do think they give you more here than they do at aloha isle in Magic Kingdom. If you notice the dole whip serving in Magic Kingdom, it's actually hollow on the inside which makes it appear to be larger, but here it's not! So refreshing and delicious as always. Such a Disney snack staple!

Vanilla ice cream, pineapple cake with a caramel crisp drizzle. Say no more! This was a fun find for me since I don't go to the animal kingdom often. The line moved really fast and it was made to order!

Is it really a Disney trip if you don't cool down on at least one of your park days with a Dole Whip treat? Tamu Tamu Refreshments is my go to place while in Animal Kingdom. They typically only have the pineapple flavor, but they do have the option to order a 'boozy' version with rum and, at the time of my most recent visit a few weeks ago, they were offering the Pineapple Crisp Sundae. For all my pineapple and fruity dessert lovers, this was divine! It was my first time ordering it, but it definitely won't be my last. I shared it with my husband, although I probably could have easily housed it by myself in that Florida heat and humidity and because it really was that good. The treat is a pineapple cake with pineapple streusel, caramel, and ice cream. The cake was moist and a great texture to complement the rest of the dessert. It wasn't too tart and it wasn't overly sweet. It was perfect. The service was ehh. The girl who rung me up was friendly, but the other CMs handing out the orders were completely disengaged and gossiping the whole time I was waiting for my order. There wasn't even eye contact or response when I thanked them for the order upon pickup. There were about four of us piled up waiting for our orders, so the gossiping was not a good look as the wait times were building up. Other than that, overall positive experience and tasty product.

Egg, sausages and cheese biscuit. Available morning for breakfast

Wanted something to eat in the morning and not much is open before 11am. Stopped by this place. Many drinks available and some snack. I tried the egg sausage and cheese on biscuit. It was ok. I don't like biscuit but couldn't find anything else that I felt I wanted. If you like biscuit, you will like it more then me for sure. It was hot which is nice. I couldn't taste the cheese at all although I did see it. The egg and sausage were ok. My girlfriend tried a savoury snack that I don't recall the name. She liked it. I would say unless you really want a biscuit with all of this, skip this snack. I can't vouch for the drinks and other snacks.

Croissant pretty standard but a decent size. Hot Cocoa

Went here for the pineapple crisp sundae and it was worth every penny. The cake itself is so tasty and along with the homemade caramel and crumble, it was a solid hit!!!! Will get again!

Tamu Tamu is a refreshment stand in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. They have the famous Dole Whips, but...don't overlook the delicious Pineapple Crisp Sundae! My husband and I share this because it is a nice size & served on top of a piece of pineapple crisp cake. Recommend Tamu Tamu & ENJOY!

Wow this place had the best dole whip. Staff were friendly. Mickey Cinnamon roll was huge. We sat at the tables to eat.

Order their pineapple crisp sundae and thank me later!! It's such an amazing dessert. Not overly sweet and the crumble is delicious

Dole Whip is a must when visiting Disney! Surprisingly, We didn't see many dole whip shops around the parks so when we saw this one in Animal Kingdom, we had to get it. Even though it wasn't super hot out since we came in January, it was still a refreshing treat. We got the dole whip with coconut rum but you barely taste the alcohol since there was so much of the dole whip. It was the perfect consistency, super creamy and pineapple flavor stood out nicely.

I didn't know I wanted the pineapple crisp sundae until I saw someone walking with it, and had to stop and ask her what it was and where did she get it. I immediately told my family that it was time for a snack and lined up to grab one. We found some seating around the corner and proceeded to devour the dessert. It was so delicious or maybe we're just too hungry?! Whatever it was, we enjoyed it and regret not getting another one before leaving the park.

I would for sure try this place again when there are four of us. Lol.

Not sure why they had a line outside when I first arrived, but I understand now. It's a bit tight in there so they're trying to do crowd control and they need to keep the doors closed to maintain the ambiance of the shop's theme. One i got in line, I was handed the most adorable cookie menu with the flavors of the month. I didn't wait too long until I got inside and saw the most fun interior! It was decorated in a goth bookstore theme, low lighting with goth portrait artwork on one side of the wall, and books lined up on the other walls. As you make your way down the line, you see the huge cookies on display (similar in size to Levain cookies) as well as the cakes they sell too! They also sell cold brew based drinks and water, milk and chocolate milk. I wanted to pick out some cookies to bring home to the family, however most of their flavors contained nuts (kids have nut allergies), so I bought everything that didn't have nuts: the Bites (flavor of the week was OG chocolate chip), and a Cookies & Cream and the Triple Chocolate flavors. Dang - the cookies are indulgent and delicious! These cookies are pretty hefty so I could only eat about an eighth of one at a time. Soo good, but pretty sweet, so have a cup of tea/coffee/milk close by. I loved all the flavors I got, but the OG chocolate chip was my favorite of the three. Stop by if you are near one, just be prepared to wait in line for these treats!

They do offer a small selection of croissant sandwiches and specialty beverages, but for us, it's all about the desserts. From their signature creations to seasonal offerings, everything is visually stunning and (most of the time) absolutely delicious. That said, while most items are fresh and flavorful, we have experienced a few cakes that were a bit dry and seemed over baked. It's not the norm, but worth mentioning. Anyone else experience this? Yes, it's a little pricey--but it's Disney, and you're paying for both the quality and the experience. Seriously, you can save all your other options for a rainy day. This is the place for any occasion, date, family gathering, or plain ol' get together with friends to enjoy sweets with great company. Located off South Apopka Vineland Road on the Northbound side, Mango Mango is situated in a relatively new development and plaza (if you look at the satelite imagery from Google maps, it will still show undeveloped land as of June 2026). It's less than a 10 minute drive from the Disney Springs property, and about an 18 minute drive from Old Town/Fun Spot which is where we were staying for this particular trip coming from Tampa. As you arrive, you will find a spacious lot, however the actual parking spaces do appear limited (something to consider if you decide to have a large reunion here). Upon entering, you will find a very clean storefront and reception. Overall the store maintains a very neat and tidy appearance that is very welcoming and neutral when it comes to the varying demographics of customers. While we have been to Mango Mango before in a New Jersey location, this location provides a bit of table service (which we have not experienced prior) for dine-in which makes it a bit more intimate. The menu offers plentiful choices of sweets - from bowls with fresh fruits and ice cream, to your specialty drinks including boba. To call Mango Mango a boba shop would do it injustice, as this place truly shines as a hollistic dessert spot. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the selections. Each dish/drink is perfectly made to their own specifications. The best part is that none are overly sweet, which I feel is a crutch that most dessert spots experience. Highly recommend the mixed fresh fruit with sago and jelly! Wish this was in Tampa because this would give our usual boba spot a run for their money. We had just had lunch about an hour before and this was a delightful and refreshing treat. The restaurant is bright and open but a closer look revealed it needed some deep cleaning. The seat I was sitting in had visible dirt on it and there was some dark long hairs on the seat. I'm not grossed out by that type of thing because if you know anyone with long hair, it just falls out. No big deal but I certainly didn't expect to see it on the seat I was sitting in. The tables and bases all need a thorough cleaning as well as other areas I noticed during our visit. I'd understand this a little more if I saw they were super busy and only had one person working, however, we were the only customers, except for two to-go orders and the one employee was sitting down on his phone when he wasn't helping a customer. As someone who has been in the restaurant industry for over 35 yrs, I am well aware of the things needed to keep a restaurant successful. Attention to detail is one of the key factors and unfortunately Mango Mango is lacking in this area. I hope they can see this review and possibly take a closer look at the cleanliness because the food is on point. Next time I'm in the area hopefully I'll see. If not, I might need to find another place to visit.
