Owner is chill until you have an issue that's not your fault or his. I've shopped here regularly for a year or so out of convenience, picking up 2-3 vapes every week or so.. but after being sold a vape that had leaked during transit (the other two were fine) the owner belittled me and blamed me for the issue telling me I must have left it on the side or upside down, which was not the case, or the other two would have leaked while in my possession. Despite the owners temperament, I remained respectful and shrugged off his terrible assertions and I was provided a replacement vape but I left not wanting to return again and biting my tongue. I gave dude the benefit of the doubt, people have bad days, he'd been chill every other time I'm there, etc., so I kept going there. However, a few months following this one of the vapes in the last batch I picked up was dead on arrival, it did not have power or light up after opening the package and plugging it into multiple chargers did not change anything. The guy went on a rant about how he didn't have to refund me and he has no idea what I did with the vape once I left the store insinuating I damaged it, and wouldn't even let me talk. At this point in the conversation I'm never coming back and don't care what he does or says. I've spent thousands of dollars in this shop and have only had these two issues throughout my time shopping here and I did not appreciate the way I was treated either time. I remained respectful and was once again biting my tongue. When he gave me the replacement vape, he made me open it and rip it inside the store to make sure it worked. He then told me, "if I puff it like that it will break it too". I wasn't trying to actually hit it, I took a tiny test pull to make sure it fired ..so rich coming from this guy though since I've only had problems with 2 vapes in over a year, and those problems prevented me from puffing on them in the first place..pea brained logic, reasoning, and customer service motto of 'blame the customer no matter what, they're always wrong and they're the problem'. I am new to vape. I went in 3 weeks ago to buy a battery, was offered two, and chose for the more expensive battery. After a week it stopped working. I went in to get help. Didn't expect them to let me return it to exchange, there is a no refund of exchange policy and understand that. The person who was working the night I returned was not the same person who was working there that I bought the battery from. This was a mid twenty's male, who had the attitude of, sorry, anger and hate. He did not have an ounce of customer service in him. I went in, told him I had bought a battery there recently and it stopped working. He asked me when I bought it. I was not sure exactly how long, and I said 2 weeks, he said how long ago did you buy it, I said 2 weeks. He said how long have you been smoking with it, I said 2 weeks. He shrugged his head and gave me the look of disgust that I have NOT SEEN in a LONG TIME. I asked him if this was normal, and he again shrugged his shoulders and said, yeah, depends how much you smoke with it. I turned around, walking out, I said I will go to another store that actually cares about their customers. Tobacco Hut does NOT care about customer service. They do not care about their customers. They have MISERABLE, HATEFUL people working for them. I ended up going to Thicker Cloudz and the difference between the two are night and day. Tobacco Hut made me feel like I was not welcome in their store, Thicker Clouds was happy to answer my questions and bought a battery from them that was a bit more expensive but 10x better than the trash Tobacco Hut sells. If you want to interact with a person who may make you feel unwelcome and give you the look of hate.. Go to Tobacco Hut. If you want friendly customer service.. Go anywhere other than Tobacco Hut.. I will never stop foot in this or any other Tobacco Hut ever again. read more

Better off going to gas station across street! No rolling tobacco, No pipe tobacco, extremely dried out cigarettes. Only cheap cigarillos no cigars, Hooka and vape stuff mainly. The never have change have to use a card to pay. read more

I really like this tobacco hut, I'm pretty sure I see the manager or owner guy most times I go there, and he is very friendly. Not to mention how much really cool glass they have in there as well. Very good addition to downtown Mclean!! If you're just passing thru the area it's definitely worth it to take a look around:) read more
