In fact, the prices are much lower than any convenience store price. This is especially true for the beer case prices. We picked-up a case of Coors and a case of Heineken for at least 20% less than what we would normally pay at a grocery store. The selection here is also much more robust than anywhere else. At first, the selection was a bit intimidating as they have tons of the PG (Paul Garmirian) line but not much else. However, a quick trip down memory lane on what I enjoyed a few months back at J. Gilberts quickly reminded me that I thought the PG cigars were quite good. You do have a price range - you can get some smaller gauges for around $5 and keep going up in quality and depth to $35 on some. I recommend trying a sampler to get your feel for what you like or have the tobacconists recommend a few smokes based on your preferences. In my opinion, it's fairly priced for what you're getting and it only gets pricey when you start thinking of buying boxes. But if you can't afford to enjoy smoking your money, why are you in the shop to begin with?
