This place is garbage definitely not worth the 4 stars and not worth coming here, much better shops without rude employees. Everytime I come here the owner + employees seem pissed off and impatient. This little spot in very special! It's nudged in a small corner of a huge shopping center, blink and you miss it. Seriously, make that U-turn and go inside! Although Fruitful Yield is right around the corner, this spot carries an amazing selection of herbal medicines, natural remedies, and ice cold beverages. Their kratom selection is astounding. I mentioned the plant to the manager and a week later, every type of kratom ever produced is in front of me! They also offer Blue Lotus, Kava Kava, Kanna, CBD tincture (amazing), Passionflower, and tons more. Their prices on all these items are beyond reasonable. The employees are sweethearts, and always listen to their customers. They're always going above and beyond for me, something that I appreciate!! I don't vape, but if you do this seems to be the spot to stop by. As far as cigars/wraps...holy wow. I didn't even know such a selection existed. Great little local shop and plenty of inventory at great prices. So why the negative review? Well, being ripped off by someone you've been supporting for a while is a terrible feeling. I bought a vape unit that did not work, returned in 2 days, not for a refund, but for an exchange for a working unit. All I got was a finger pointing at a sheet of paper that says "No refund or exchange for an item once it leaves the store." I would have been happy with an apology and coupon or handful of skittles... anything! I truly have no idea why a merchant would be willing to lose future business by a local who has frequented their shop for a year over a defective $17 item, but that's not my business. I like the idea of shopping local rather than ordering online or going to a big box retailer, but I won't be going back. Lesson learned I suppose. I tried to go in here to buy some butane. A bottle of butane is normally like 5.99 or so, and I kept asking the guy behind the counter for one, and he didn't know what butane was, and I said, " you know the stuff that you go and put in the lighter to refill it? he goes, " yes we have lighters" , and I said, "no! the stuff you FILL a torch with! and then he goes, " oh torch!" and points to the mini torches he has, and then I pointed the torch and, I go "the stuff/fluid that goes inside of here! and he looked at me and said, " I don't know what you mean!? He looked so baffled and perplexed! At that point I walked out frustrated! [Not at the fact that they don't carry it but at the fact he works in a business where he should know what it is in the first place regardless if it's carried or not] how do you work In a smoke shop, and not know what butane is! Ugh for real! I very much enjoyed the flavor options of EonSmoke's vapor pods & bought them on a regular basis. D&S Tobacco and More offers a wide selection of them & their customer service is exceptional! I would come across a faulty pod here & there. However on April 20th, I purchased 2 4 packs of E-liquid pods by Eonsmoke. Citrus Burst & Blueberry. I was frustrated when the entire pack of Blueberry pods & 2 of the Citrus Burst pods leaked all over my hands, clothes, & both of my devices (EonSmoke & Juul) only after 1-2 puffs. Worst of all, the last pod of my Citrus Burst completely leaked into my mouth causing me to gag & throw up. I reached out to EonSmoke's customer service "specialist", Nicole, who was unwilling to resolve my concern using basic programmed script responses. I provided her with my ID & receipt & offered to send the product information off the packages + 2 proofs of residency. I even suggested reaching out to D&S to confirm my age/identity. Since Nicole, had extremely poor customer service etiquette I asked to speak with a supervisor & manager. She replied she was the supervisor & her general manager was unavailable. I went to my Miss Dapali @ D&S Tobacco N More in Oswego, IL, & told her what happened. Her customer service manners where refreshingly satisfactory & exceeded my expectations. She gave me 2 replacement single pods for my troubles. It didn't come close to the $31 dollars I spent on Saturday, but I was very much pleased & understood it was something she didn't have to do because it was the manufacture's issue. Maybe she could teach Nicole a thing two about proper human decency. Based on Dipali, Petey, Brittnay, Zack, & Bill's spectacular customer service etiquette...
