I'm sure that he thought that he was doing his due diligence for his client, but after the client (me) has answered multiple times, I really feel like the lawyer should just shut up and listen. On top of that, he made MANY errors in our paperwork, and, naturally, charged me to fix them. I will never, ever recommend him, and I will, in fact, advise other people to stay away from him. On the bright side, the Accountant, Ruth Zetlin, is lovely, and despite the fact that I only dealt with her regarding billing, I appreciated every interaction. The problems and delays arose when Nelson tried to talk me out of decisions that my ex-husband and I had already made (e.g. that I would not extend the 50/50 split of his 401k accounts after the date that I officially moved out). We were delayed further because of the many, many, MANY typos (including our NAMES) that were included in Nelson's documents.
