He's taken good care of me through thick and thin, and I truly feel that in him I have a vigorous health-care advocate. One indication of his skills and reputation is that other physicians go to Dr. Mintell as their family doctor. I only wonder how much longer he'll be practicing; he's in his early 70's now, and despite being very active and apparently in excellent health, everybody has to retire sooner or later.

I'm no expert in this field but, I'm having a difficult time believing that after getting my upper arm sliced open on both sides has led me to have carpal tunnel syndrome. He is convinced that my nerve pain, which only started after being brutally injured and spending two weeks in the ICU has nothing to do with the nerve pain I'm experiencing. Dr. Shah was snarky and beyond rude. He literally gave me a pat on the back which felt like an adult patting a child on the head. What an awful experience. The receptionist (or whomever answers their phones) was EXTREMELY rude. Their office sent this patient to us, but would not supply the medication to test with -- a test THEIR OFFICE requested we do! If they can be that rude to another physician's office, I cant imagine how they treat their patients! I will NEVER go to them for any reason.

If you have a chronic problem they just push you off to specialists who are fully booked. There's no more personal care here and actually seeing a Doctor is a pipe dream. The practice places income over care imo. They have a current lawsuit in place for not treating a patient properly according to Google. This is business only now it seems. Dr. Hussain's approach and compassionate care put me at ease, and I left feeling confident in the treatment plan we discussed. It's rare to find a doctor who combines professionalism with such kindness. I highly recommend the shifa clinic. Can't say the same for the front desk. May be it was just Monday.
