Every Bjs that is located in the Bronx has terrible customer service, specifically for handling customer issues or speaking to department heads. For instance, I purchased glasses from BJs over a year ago. Included in that purchase was a warranty of protection over the glasses in case anything were to happen to them yadda yadda. That day once we finally had a chance to actually sit down with the Dr, we were assured that if we needed anything it'll be taken care of. Fast forward we can't even get through to the department when trying to call. At one point I was on hold for 5 minutes. The next time I called it drops. I visited the exterior street location and asked if they could fix my glasses for me and was told there was nothing they could do to my glasses- which had a crooked plastic piece on the metal- besides tighten the glasses. It did absolutely nothing. I asked if she needed to see my insurance, or needed anything further information she said no it's alright? Don't you need proof of who I am? BASICALLY, what I'm trying to say is that the Optometry department has a consistent trait of unprofessionalism and disorganization. I'll just stop being cheap and stick to my original eye doctor with my insurance. At least i know I'll be helped the way I should and deserve to be.

They sent my bill to collections after collecting more than $1,000 for one pair of glasses. This is not a joke. I thought the quality might be better than Costco, it is not...save yourself the time, money and frustration, do not go to Riverdale Eye Associates on Netherland Ave in the Bronx.
