I have since gone to another optician who specializes in difficult prescriptions. Perhaps Eyes on Hudson is very good for general glasses. I had a 6:00 PM appointment and arrived on time, only to be told there were multiple people ahead of me and that the wait would be about an hour. That completely defeats the purpose of scheduling an appointment. If appointments aren't going to be honored, what's the point of offering them? At the very least, a courtesy call or message to let me know my appointment was running an hour behind would have saved me the trip I wasted my time of driving there and they lost a long time customer.
