When I told her I wanted off all the medication for my diagnosed autoimmune disease, she said I would be 10 times worse than I was. She didn't respond to phone calls... she was always rushed and truly seemed care only about her bottom line. I felt that Dr Kremer was unfriendly, uncaring and basically lacked any level of compassion or empathy, along with her staff. All she could give me were samples of fosamax. We tossed all of it out. She almost seemed upset that I was doing better and even walking. I never felt that my needs were considered or my concerns. Do yourself a favor, go to a Naturopath or and OD, all she knows how to do is hand out pharmaceutical drugs. Naturopathic medicine saved my life.

The doctors (Dr Udal before she left and now Dr Kumar) spend a lot of time asking questions about my entire health picture and current issue before trying many alternatives. My only complaint -- and it's significant -- is the absolutely ridiculous wait time to get an appointment. Weeks or even months. That makes them an unreasonable alternative for urgent issues. They get a very bad rap (undeserved) in this site. If you read some of the reviews are from drug seekers. One star b/c they require a drug screen before prescribing pain meds? Of course they do! That is normal and responsible! Other reviews are similar. I will say they are part of Santa Rosa Community Health Centers, and many of their locations are terrible. Brookwood for one is the worst medical facility I have ever been to in my 50 years. Unprofessional reception. At least an hour wait with an appointment, and it's not uncommon to have to wait 3 OR MORE! Completely unprofessional.

I liked him when I first met him. So I was very surprised, when after wearing a monitor to check on the details of my irregular heartbeat, things changed. He was clearly bothered that I had asked an assistant to give me copies of the 30 pages of diagnostic data. He never asked me why. Well, it so happens that I have training as a nurse, and had, for my own interest, taken a semester long course in reading electrocardiogram results. So he said, you have atrial fibrilation. I want to tell you about the 10 medications we need to choose from. I said "excuse me, but my first goal is to understand the cause, not possible medications." He again acted upset and upbraided me for interrupting him. Then I said: "I'm beginning to feel angry and need to leave now." He acted very surprised, and said: "are you coming back". I said: I don't think so. Then I learned that he had subsequently (CYA!!!) called my primary care physician to complain that I had acted in anger toward him; total misrepresentation of our experience together! Fortunately, my doctor next referred to me to Dr. John Hunter, also in Santa Rosa. Dr. Hunter is great. Completely different approach to a patient. He's a busy man, but acts like he has all the time in the world to listen to questions and concerns and discuss matters. With him I feel like part of a team. I feel respected.
