Sad experience with this agent. Canceled my policy due to failure to submit audit. That was okay,…read moreeven though audit was submitted. She then without notifying me reinstated my policy. Did not realize until I started getting bills. Called office several times but she was always too busy, unavailable or out of the office. Should have acted as an agent and notified me of what was going on. She did nothing and her assistant told me to ignore the bills. I did not but tried to call the office and State Farm. Just got the run around from one person to another. Was told by customer service that Amanda had turned the account over to a collection agency. This agent is very deceitful and no help in resolving issues. Does State Farm not vet their agents? DO NOT RECOMMEND.

A little background for you: I started this policy…read morelast year and got a good amount of discounts, my agent was always a call or email away and tried to answer my questions the best he could. A few months ago my monthly rate went up by more than $20. I emailed him asking why this has happened and for an explanation. He responded that another agent would get in contact with me as to why my rate increased as he was leaving the business. A few weeks went by with no response so I give them a call. I explain what happened and instead of pinpointing why my rate went up or trying to lower it or fixing this issue. I was told that they don't handle things the way Sam did. That he "must have dropped the ball and not forwarded the email to them" I don't want to hear the blame game going on in your office. Accept the responsibility of correcting it as I am your new client. Again I told them I wasn't forewarned of the changes to my rate and therefore the details of my rate were not honored or honest. The office manager of this place told me sorry that happened we can't really do anything, it's Sam's fault; however we do things differently as to not have the same issues he did. How in the world does this even make any sense. You want to be different...maybe you should act in it and correct the situation. So I asked her "so you mean to tell me I just gave you guys over $100 is whatever money and you are sitting there filling your pockets on my lack of provided information? So you scammed me!" she responded with "we have gotten a lot of unsatisfied people about how this was handled and it was really because of Sam and we're sorry, but nothing can be done" be a professional and offer to help or ensure this problem isn't persistent; not claim to be so much better but sit there and point your finger at someone else and saying sorry we're taking lots of your money because we weren't together enough within this office to have handled the task of transferring and maintaining clientel. Rediculous. Please dear reader. Run as far as possible from this establishment. They have nothing in mind for you rather than to sneak those extra dollars from your account on derogatory terms.
