To preface, I never leave bad reviews, usually just shrug it off, but this experience made my blood boil. They ruined my furniture, and I contacted the owner (Rodney) to report it. He had the audacity to flip it on me stating that I ruined my furniture, not his company. He undermined my concerns and completely brushed it off. Acted as though he couldn't be bothered. What a grand way to run a business. He asked, "I guess a better question is how do you know the movers who brought this to the storage unit (before his guys) didn't damage the furniture?" I said, "Because I moved them the first time and they were not ruined." He then proceeded to say "If you never took the blankets off to inspect in storage how could you be SO sure they weren't damaged?" EXCUSE ME. Because it's my furniture and I pay attention. My belongings weren't damaged by me, and they know it. To top it all off, they're not on the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint - how convenient... not. They take your money and will do anything in their power to 1. not take the blame, and 2. not give you the money you deserve back. I beg people not to use this company; the management is despicable.

I needed local moving help and was having the hardest time finding companies that weren't charging high rates and were available in a short timeframe between Maryland and DC. I found Get It Done through Craigslist and looked them up on Yelp, requested a quote, and within a couple of hours had gotten a response and very reasonable price range. Charles was very responsive and had flexible times 2-3 days out for a local move. He communicated when his truck had an issue causing him to be about an hour late, but it was all fine in my situation since I was moving from a storage unit to a condo where I didn't have to be moved out by a certain time/day. He and his teammate moved my things over to the 26' truck with care and drove it about 30 miles into DC. They carefully parked in the loading dock, loaded the elevator and unloaded things where I wanted them. They even helped fix the legs on my sofa that came loose during cross country transit in a pod. Total time was about 3 hours with transit. Charles even gave me a veterans discount on top of his very reasonable price. Much appreciated! I would definitely recommend his services for moves in the DMV area.
