Me and my husband went to get spur of the moment tattoos and we were greatly disappointed by them. We showed pictures to the male tatoo artist (i believe his name was Eddie) and he acted like he knew what he was doing but definitely did not deliver. The results were far from what we wanted. We got Sister "matching" tattoos. The numbers 1 4 3 symbolize the words "I Love You". My sisters and I got those numbers tattooed on our arms to represent the love we have for one another (in our own distinctive way). Joezannette was amazing! She was patient with all of our different ideas and provided outstanding customer service. I had a tattoo of a Babylonian sigil done on my right shoulder and the tattoo came out perfect crisp and no blowouts. The staff was friendly and conversational, and the shop was clean with Fair prices. My only complaint was the music as I am not into death metal and it was kind of loud, but at least it was a distraction from the pain of the tat! LOL by the way, the pain was pretty minimal. Unprofessional! A group of our family prepared a trip to see a family member at Fresno state and contacted Tokyo Rose in advance about a few small tattoo's. We were told a few artists will be available to fit us in. However, on the morning of our appointment I get a text saying they both called out sick. and when I replied there was no reply back AT ALL. Not even an Apology. We traveled over there and made an appointment to be left out to dry and then be COMPLETELY IGNORED! I wouldn't even bother trying to see how everyone else is there if THIS is how they present themselves. So Unprofessional. Reply: I understand them being sick, but there were no efforts whatsoever to keep our business or even give any kind of sincerity in your apology. Its just bad business to make arrangements, and when they fall through to leave your customer hanging there. Your customer service could be a improved upon. At least telling us that you could schedule another time to meet etc would have been acceptable rather than completely ignoring. read more

Great artists and great vibes! I have a beautiful tattoo with my daughters name and some butterflies. I have also got my eyebrows microblade in my lips tattooed my eyelids done everything has always been perfect never any flaws and I've always come back For more. Joe is the greatest I met her when she was working in the shop and that wasn't her own and now she has her own place and I'm so proud of her I guarantee as she takes pride in her work I've never seen an artist do so well. Let me start by saying that the artists here clearly have really beautiful work, and at the price they offer for such good quality, it's hard to beat. I had been wanting to come in for their $30 special for a long time, but I know how crazy those days get at tattoo shops. My friend and I had been planning to walk in on Thursday 11/21, but we saw the shop post on Instagram that, due to high demand, they would be accepting appointments only...okay no problem. I message the shop specifically asking first if it's okay to do appointments on the $30 days and they responded quickly and said yes. They were very accommodating and friendly which is refreshing because usually tattoo artists act like you're pulling their teeth out just asking one question. We set our appointment for 9pm and we were super excited. This is where things start to go downhill. At a certain point on Thursday the shop started advertising walk-ins even though they had previously put appointment only the day before...okay... So around 7:30pm I message the shop and double check that I'm still good for my appointment at 9pm, and I get back a message saying 'sorry, I'm backed up by an hour. You can still come today or we can take care of you tomorrow...' well my friend and I both work all the time and have complicated schedules...we wanted to go in on Thursday which is why we scheduled the appointment. So I said 'okay, we're both still down to come in.' I got no response to that message, and we ended up calling the shop just to confirm because we live about 20 mins from the shop and didn't want to drive over there for no reason. The person we spoke to on the phone told us to come in still at 10pm. We show up at 9:55, and when we walk in, the lobby is full of people still. We stand there a full five minutes before the receptionist finally asks us how she can help us. I explain that we had an appointment at 9pm that was now moved to 10pm...she said 'with who?' and seemed to know nothing about it. Um...okay...so we fill out the paper work. The owner comes out and looks at the list of walk ins and starts talking to the other people there saying how she was going to get their stuff ready. I asked these people if they had appointments and they said no. No one from the shop spoke to us again after that. No one came out asking about an appointment or anything. We stood there until about 10:25 and then left. Our appointment was now delayed by an hour and a half, and no one had even spoken to us or let us know when we would be getting started. I am extremely disappointed and let down by this shop. If you make an 'appointment', the idea is supposed to be that that time is YOURS now, right? No one else can now take that spot? Not here. They will overbook people and your appointment time will not matter. How do you justify accepting other people that you know will delay your actual set appointments that people went out of their way to schedule and then show up for? Because of this, my friend and I both stayed out way later than we wanted to since we both work early the next day, we wasted two hours trying to kill time til our delayed appointment, and we wasted gas and time driving 20 minutes to the shop with nothing to show from it. If the owner wasn't accepting legitimate appointments on a $30 special day, I would've understood that. I wish she would've just been honest with me and told me not to come. read more
